    Came in with my x-type to find out what it could not be smog checked. Told that car was fine and to come pick it up. I got less than 10 min away from service center and engine light came on. Brought the car back right away and was told 2 days later that I suddenly had a $5700+ repair quote. When I asked why it was not diagnosed before (even though I had asked them to check same) I was told that now that the light was on they were able to diagnose where as before it was not possible. In my opinion very shady &/or incompetent. Either way they will never see my business again.

    Just purchased a 2008 550i from Dave at Silver Star. Not a high pressure salesman at all. Very friendly. Had us in and out of there in 45 minutes. Would definitely do business again with Silver Star. And especially with Dave.This is also our second car purchased from Silver Star.

    I located the car on the Internet and contacted Marian. She was very responsive, forthcoming and was super easy to work with. Initial contact was made on a Saturday and I could not get down to L.A. until the following Friday. The deal was done and I drove it home the next day (only because of my schedule). Andrew, the finance manager was also a pleasure to work with and only mentioned additional products but did not push too hard. The car was as advertised and the whole experience was excellent.

    We were trying to buy this Black GL 450 and we have been talking with the Salesman about this car, but when we got there it wasn't the car we had expected. I told him it was supposed to be a black one. He said "Oh, Marian didn't tell you? The black one has been sold!" Marian never mentioned anything about the car being sold. The whole entire time we were calling each other and talking about this car, the salesman never mentioned about the car being sold. I felt so cheated, stupid, and lied to. Well, you know salesman, they always lie. I emailed the Salesman about the garage door opener system to the car not working and he never responded. I waited for two weeks for him to respond, so I emailed him again. We'll see if he responds.

    Ryan Huffman was the first dealer to follow up with me after entering what I was looking for into the USAA Buying Service program. Even though this dealership was further away than others, I had a good feeling after calling Ryan back and talking to him. I told him that I wanted to test drive both the Jaguar XK Touring Coupe and the XK convertible. He said they would be ready when I arrived and they were. He also let me and my fiance take to car for a test drive, by ourselves for as long as we wanted. After we test drove the car and decided to buy it, there was no haggle over the price. They buying process was very courteous and expeditious and we drove the car home that evening. Any questions about the car since purchasing it, have been handled quickly and professionally.

    I live in the bay area and was looking for a used Jaguar XF that will fit my budget. Searching the car using Jaguar's search tool and found the perfect car except it is at Thousand Oaks! That's 400 miles away from where I live. Not knowing anything about the dealership, I decided to give them a call anyway. Surprisingly, they were very responsive even though they knew I was 400 miles away. Immediately, Russell(Greg's assistant) was able to get me everything I needed. In less than a week after I got the detail information about the car and the OTD price, my wife and I decided to buy a one way ticket to visit the dealership. When we arrived at the airport, right away, Russell contacted me and was on the way to pick us up. He actually drove about 30min to get to the airport. Talk about service! I was quite impressed with the service already, but had my doubt bcos Russell is a very young sales person. When we got to the dealership, the car was still in the shop for detailing, so we started the paper work. In about an hour, we were done with the paper work, so we got to talk to Greg n Russell more about the experience. This is the first time I've bought a car through internet not to mention it was 400 miles away. I could have had the car delivered to us for $400, but I wasn't going to pay so much money for a car that I never drove before. I tell you, the experience was so pleasant that I will never go to any local dealership and sit there for hours and hours trying to negotiate the price again! Not to mention some of the snobbish sales people in the silicon valley. Both Russell and Greg gave me the best experience buying a car and I strongly recommend this sales team to anyone. The trip was definitely worth it. I have to give a lot of credit to Russell. Being such a young sales person, his attitude and potential is terrific(keep up the good work). It's been more than 2 month since I drove the car back from Thousand Oaks. It passed the 400 miles test so far and I still cannot find any flaw in this use car. What a car, what a deal, what an experience! Thanks!

    Greg Jarvis was a man I met accidentally. I was trying to see about buying a car and the Mercedes sales person basically said no way you cant swing it and these cars don't discount. I walked over to Jag and started talking to Greg. He was like sit down. Lets see what we can do. It didn't work out that day. The next week I went to buy a Honda for a family member because I thought "its cheeper and a good car". I asked the Honda guy to look into what my trade would be. Then I sauntered over to see Greg to say hello. In about 15 minutest I was buying a Mercedes. By about 4pm (six hours later) the Honda guy finally called me back and my response was "I told you I was going to buy a car....I just bought a Mercedes" Great experience with Greg. He is trying to figure out a way to get me the original car I was looking at and it will be my second in about two weeks. Thans Greg I give greg fives on all fronts for the work he did converting a no into a yes, a honda into a mercedes and closing what I believe to be a great deal.
