From the moment I walked in I was greeted by Mike. He was professional, thorough and committed to helping me. The experience exceeded my expectations in all aspects. I called the service department on October 15, 2025.

I called the service department on October 15, 2025. Because I thought that the front collision avoidance system on my new 2025 Telluride was not operating. I Spoke with Giana. And asked if I stopped by could one of the techs look at it and ascertain if it was just shut off, or if it was something else, and I would have to make an appointment for service. She was very accommodating and advised me to stop down. When I arrived I spoke with Erin. Who came out to see if there was a reason for the system to be off. But it looked fine. Then Rubio. One of the service technicians came over to look at it. And he took it for a test drive. When he came back he advised me that all of the systems were working as they should be. He also explained to me how and under what conditions the front collision avoidance system works. I want to thank Giana and Erin for helping me and especially Rubio for taking the time to test drive the car and for explaining the system to me. Thanks to all at the Smithtown KIA service department. BOB W

I had a scheduled appointment, but my car wasn’t even

I had a scheduled appointment, but my car wasn’t even looked at until 3 full work days after drop-off (I receive car notifications via app). Tom insisted A/C compressor was not covered under my warranty, even after I read him the specific language from the contract. I had to give him the phone number of KIA’s Warranty Administrator to convince him. I had to call him every step of the way to get updates and move things along. All in all it took 9 days to replace an A/C compressor. I was not offered shuttle or loaner car services, even though it is covered in my warranty. I had to request it only after being notified by the Warranty Administrator. Once requested, Erica made the loaner process quick and easy. Not sure if my service rep was the issue or the dealership as a whole but I would avoid this location.
