Haven't purchased yet but Adam was upfront and personable. I appreciate businesses that are upfront about fees and willing to work with customers. Will... see how things go.
JT, thank you for leaving us a great review. Hopefully we'll be able to earn your business!
I have to say I've been a little reserved on car dealerships due to most just being too pushy. Not Summit!! I found a car online and requested more information... on a Friday. Haleigh contacted me right off letting me know it was available and could I stop by to fill out a credit application. I explained that I was two hours away and driving that distance without knowing I'd qualify didn't really interest me. She said it wasn't a problem and supplied me with a link to apply online. Saturday I received a call and an email from Jeff (which I missed) letting me know he had great news for me. On Sunday I received a call from PJ checking to see if I was still interested in the online car because there was another buyer. Due to me not getting back to them until Monday the car did sell. Which no fault on their part they went above and beyond to reach me before selling. I finally called back on Monday and spoke with PJ who assured me if I could stop in they would get me into a newer, nicer vehicle than the one I looked at online and still keep me in my affordable price range. So, Monday morning myself, husband, and daughter jumped in the car and headed the 2 hours to Summit. We were greeted and offered drinks while he went to get PJ. PJ already had two vehicles picked out in my price range. One I knew I wouldn't like and the other I test drove. Didn't really like the one I test drove. So, we were allowed to walk around the lot ON OUR OWN and see if something caught my eye. Once around the lot and there it was, the one! Mind you the price was about double what I was looking for but PJ assured me if this was the car I WANTED he would keep me in my monthly payment range. PJ got the key, opened it all up and explained all the features to us, handed me the key and told me to "Go take it for a ride and fall in love with it" I truly did!! After returning he took some time and plugged away at my information returning with a disappointing look on his face and said "You've got the car" The best part, he kept it in my monthly affordable price range and I left there in a vehicle I absolutely love. These guys are friendly, fun, and very easy to talk to and they really are out to get you what you want. During the signing PJ sent the car with Nick who washed it, detailed it, and fill the tank full of gas. I received a free care package with everything to keep my vehicle beautiful looking. Yesterday Adam contacted me to see if he could help at all with the process of getting the insurance binder to them and to ask how things were going and if we were happy with our purchase. He was very polite and wanted me to know if there was anything I needed or questioned to give him a call. I left Summit with a full and happy heart and to get the follow up call from Adam letting us know to call him anytime for anything was reassuring that we bought from the right place. PJ's work was above and beyond what I think most salesmen would have done. Thank you all for the best car buying experience of my life!! Highly recommending SUMMIT and their staff to anyone looking for a new vehicle!! Thank you all!
TGilbert, thank you so very much for writing such a fantastic review regarding your experience with Summit. Your words here mean the world to us.
This is by far the best Jeep dealership! Was on a Sunday drive and honestly did not plan on buying a Jeep, let alone two!!! Decided to speak with Ryan... McCullock, who came out to greet us. Due to his very personable sales approach, we decided to check on numbers which led us to two purchases that we are very happy with. We can't say enough about how Ryan handled everything and helped us in every way he could. Also a huge thank you to Adam and Jeff!!!
Norjohn, thank you so much for writing this excellent review! We appreciate you choosing Summit. Ryan, Adam, and Jeff all had a great time working w...ith you!
I will start by saying I had been to other dealerships the day before I walked into the Summit and had been told that there wasn't a way to get everything... I wanted. The minute my sister and I got out of our vehicle the salesman was there to greet us even though it was raining. I told him my story about being upside down on my lease and being over the total limited miles and what vehicle I wanted. Ryan McCullock was this young salesman's name, he said that I would not be leaving without the vehicle I wanted. He and his sales mgr., Jeff Kofoed worked on several different approaches....we talked and laughed telling stories and then Jeff wanted to try one more way before we left.....I am happy to say that I did indeed drive my dream ride home, on a Sunday no less when other sales reps said they would have to wait until Monday to get the correct numbers, these two men got the job done and got the payment where it needed to be. I will definately go back !!! And I will also tell everyone I know that if you want your car sale to go smooth, have a little fun go to The Summit in Brattleboro, VT!!! They really made us feel at home and explained everything from paperwork to how everything works in the vehicle....THANK YOU GUYS!!!!! BTW....I only knew their last names because I took some of their business cards to hand out to my friends....LOL, my memory isn't that good :-)....
Pam, thank you so much for this incredible review. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with the world. And handing out ...business cards? Thank you! There's no greater compliment than a referral like that.
Summit has been excellent at responding to trying to locate a vehicle for us in price range and what we were looking for.
Walt, thank you for writing this review- we appreciate it. It has been our pleasure to help! Thank you for choosing Summit Chrysler.
DID NOT PURCHASED A VEHICLE BECAUSE COULD NOT COME TO AN AGREEMENT
JM, I have looked through our records and do not see where we might have interacted. We would really like to look into this some more, and at least d...etermine what happened. If you would, please call our General Manager, Bob Goodell, at (888) 496-9173. It's important to us that we fully understand what happened when a customer walks away from our store unhappy.
overall one of the best experiences buying a car i ever had. great people, straight forward and SUPER FRIENDLY! i almost didn't want to leave!
Steven, thank you for taking the time to submit this review! We're so happy to hear you had such a pleasant experience with us. Please never hesitat...e to swing by the dealership if you ever have any issues or questions. We're always here to help!
I found the vehicle I needed on Cars.com and contacted the dealer. My experience was better than expected. The car was waiting when I arrived. After a... short test drive, the dealer let me take the car home overnight for my wife's review. (I live 1 1/2 hours away.) They gave me a fair trade price for the truck, set a reasonable price for the vehicle I purchased, met all conditions that were important to me and arranged a very good finance rate. They were cooperative in every way, including taking the paperwork to my wife's place of work for her signing. My only (very minor) complaint is that the government-required paperwork is so extensive and takes so long to complete.
K Jack, sorry nobody responded to this sooner! Thank you very much for this review, we're happy your experience with Summit last year was excellent. ... The paper work, and how much exists, is something we feel the pain on too. Our finance managers do their best to make the process painless... but signing your name so many times can be minimized only so much!
My first service at the dealership. Everything went well and on time. Very polite people.
Hello Joe: I'm glad your first experience with us was great! We value your business! Come back any time, we are here to help you!
Found the vehicle I wanted on line. The only thing that drew me to this over another dealer, was the trim level of the vehicle was higher, nothing else.... I went there to have them give me an offer on my trade. They tried the usual salesman stuff, but I refused to tell them what I owed on my vehicle until they gave me a trade value. Bill the sales manager is your typical auto sales type guy, I didn't really trust him. The young male salesman never offered for me to look at the vehicle or test drive the one I was interested in, while I was there. I received some ok trade offers, but said I wasn't interested in those trade values. I left, but later received an email from Bill that he "found" some more money to give me in my trade. So trade value went up. I checked with three other dealers the next morning and was trying to decide which one to go to. I ended up going by the vehicle not dealership. I emailed stuff back and forth with Summit b/c I live an hour away, go the payments where I wanted and ready to make a deal. While Bill later advised me I "stole it" I can tell you it was the deal I expected. I had the numbers worked out long before he did. This was not a surprising deal, nor was it different than I expected from anywhere. I will point out that it was a good deal, just not spectacular. I showed up later that day and met the actual salesperson on this deal, "Ginny". She was very nice, even though she didn't really have to do much work for the deal. I had to ask her if I could see the vehicle, as my wife hadn't seen it yet. They brought it out and Ginny started showing my wife and I the features. She went through explaining how the vehicle had Bluetooth and you could make hands free calls if your phone was bluetootch compatible. My wife told Ginny that her car had that, and we both advised her that our phones were Bluetooth. Ginny told us that we just push the button and it walks us through the steps to set it up. Still no test drive offered, but I didn't ask as I wanted the vehicle. I went into the dealership and went through the paperwork. I was never told anything about warranties or Dodge after sales stuff, like I was when we bought our Toyota. After signing papers I asked how the seats work (stow n go). Ginny tried but couldn't figure them out, and neither could the finance manager. I finally said that I would figure it out later. I left the dealership. Later tried the Bluetooth feature only to find that it said unavailable. I emailed Ginny that it didn't seem to work, she replied that it would cost another $300 something to get that added on. I found that really odd, since she told me it had that feature, told my wife, explained how to use it, etc. I was frustrated, it would not have been a deal breaker, but to be told you have something before you sign papers, that turns out to not be true is annoying. I emailed Ginny and advised her of my disappointment and did make remark that they should probably have a little more product knowledge. I never received a response. A couple of weeks later I emailed the "Mark" who was on the site as being general manager. No response. I emailed the sales manager, Bill, and the finance manager. Bill got back to me yesterday with a one liner. That's all I asked for was a response, but would have thought I would get a well thought out response, especially since I plan on buying another Dodge soon, but not at Summit. I later asked how much for the tow package, service department advised $250 labor. I called Bonneville and Sons and was quoted $101 in labor. RECAP: No test drive, typical sales person stuff, told and explained a feature before signing that was FALSE, no real after sales info (service, warranty 36k bumper to bumper, is there any oil changes included like Toyota etc), horrible follow up, lack of product knowledge. I see from there previous responses that they don't fix the problems that customers report, they just say thanks and sorry.
Hello Jeff: Due to the fact that you are an unhappy customer, we want to find a way to change that. We understand your frustration, we are a very new... store and we apologize for the lack of product knowledge, but you have educated us to understand how important it is to satisfy our customer's needs. You are very important to us and we appreciate your business. We hope we can continue doing business with you. Good luck with your vehicle and please call us with any automotive needs. Thank you Jim Howe Finance Director
