Went shopping for a used truck. They didn’t have what I was looking for so my salesman peter said he would keep an eye out for me. He called a couple days... later and found the truck I wanted. He was great to work with, great dealership.
I just purchased a Ford F150 from Kocourek last week. Billy in sales was very helpful. Ray in management found the exact truck I was looking for from... another dealer and gave a fair price for my trade. Justan in service ensured mud flaps and undercoating were properly installed. David provided an excellent tutorial and setup of the truck’s features. Overall, everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable and efficient.
Extremely happy with the purchasing experience at Kocourek. All of our questions were answered and we did not feel any pressure from the sales staff.... Matt Brklacich at Kocourek helped us get a fair price and all the accessories and warranty options were explained well. We'd have no issue recommending Kocourek to friends or family.
I cannot figure out how to take down our previous review (“horrible experience”). We were able to speak with Kocourek Ford and have worked out our problems.... Customer service was good and our air conditioning is going to get fixed.
Voicing my concern regarding our vehicle and how the store left out some pretty major issues and misrepresented features with the car (whether intentionally... or not) from pre-purchase to the time of purchase, that left us feeling both discouraged and upset. My wife and I purchased a 2016 Ford Expedition Limited from Kocourek Ford Lincoln in Wausau in November 2018. When we first met the sales associate, he seemed nice enough. However, after a while, my wife and I were still really feeling out what we wanted and looking at our options, but we felt a bit pressured into buying this Ford Expedition from Kocourek. Almost felt a "full-court press" to get a deal done by everyone there, which is not something I, nor my wife appreciate. After coming up with a number all parties could agree upon, it seemed like a reasonable deal, so we went ahead and made the purchase, with the understanding that we were getting everything the sales associate had mentioned in terms of features. However, immediately after finalizing the sale, another associate began to show us the features of the vehicle, which would leave us shocked and extremely discouraged. Prior to agreeing to purchase the vehicle, we were told by our sales associate that the vehicle had the ability for remote start access via a Ford app on our cell phones. This was a HUGE selling point for my wife and I, because we thought she'd be able to start her car from her office at work, which had been something we weren't able to do with our last vehicle from Kocourek. However, the associate showing us the features after purchase informed us that the car did not have this feature, leaving us both incredibly disappointed. We also were told prior to purchasing the car that it would be able to support Apple Car Play and Android Auto, but also found out that was not the case. We informed our sales associate and the store about this and the remote start features not being available, and they did apologize for a "miscommunication" and "misunderstanding." Not sure if it was a miscommunication/misunderstanding, or a way to sell the vehicle, but we gave the benefit of the doubt and let it go. Shortly after getting home with the vehicle, we noticed that the back bumper had a hole in it (almost like someone drove a stake into it). This was something that was not mentioned prior to purchase, and we unfortunately did not catch prior to leaving the lot. To the store's credit, they did fix the bumper. However, it again felt as if they knew about the issue, and were trying to avoid telling us about it. Hard to believe they wouldn't have known about this during an inspection when intaking the vehicle in the first place (or if it happened somehow on the car lot). We have had the car for about 8 months now, and all of a sudden, our AC went out. 8 months! We brought the vehicle into a repair shop near our home, who informed us that we needed to fully replace the AC lines, as they had corroded through. Along with a recharge of the AC and labor, this will cost us more than $1200! Just 8 months after purchasing the vehicle. The vehicle only has about 70,000 miles on it, and less than that at the time of purchase. This should have been found during inspection and replaced prior to us purchasing the vehicle. This was the second vehicle we had purchased (we leased a van) from Kocourek, and I can honestly say, we have felt a bit duped both times. For obvious reasons as listed above for the Expedition, but also with the Kia van, a lot of "miscommunication" (intentional or not), and pressure to sign the dotted line. At this point, this will be our last purchase from Kocourek unfortunately. We trusted them to receive all the correct and relevant information about the vehicle prior to purchase without pressure, and we feel that we did not receive that.
Great people. Friendly to work with. Dave Olson made everything easy and was awesome. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Overall very happy... i bought this car from them.
Pete Roth our salesman was totally the best. He explained everthing about the new truck all of the gadgets and how to use them. He also went the extra... mile and came to our house and programed our garage door openers. We recomend him to anybody that is looking for a new vechicle.
Very happy with Pete Roth. very helpful gettin Us in the right truck for us. No sales pressure! A very positive experience. I would send my own mother... to This dealer!
We have purchased 3 vehicles in the last 10 years from Koucerek Ford. Always great service from everyone involved. Purchasing process was quick. Even had... a couple questions after a few days and Matt was great about getting back to me with an answer.
My wife and I were looking to trade in a truck for a couple of more fuel efficient vehicles. Our original appointment with Dave Olson was to test drive... a couple of cars. Dave took a 25 minutes to discuss our needs and what we were trying to accomplish. During the first 2 test drives, Dave searched the Kocourek inventory at all the stores in Wausau. He stuck with us through the test driving of 8 vehicles. The process my wife and I were dreading turned into a painless experience that resulted in the vehicles that matched our family’s needs. Thanks Dave
