My wife and I recently purchased a car from Direct Automotive car sales. They were very professional, honest and reliable. Their new store in Overland... Park Kansas is in a nice location, close to many shops and restaurants. The staff took good care of us, showed us how the vehicle worked, and made sure we were happy before we left. The car runs well and everything was as advertised. We will return when purchasing another car.

Mike showed us all the paperwork on... the vehicle, we test drove it and we had already done our research ~ so it was an easy decision. The vehicle was immaculate & there were no high sell tactics. Please take the time to READ this before buying a vehicle from Direct Automotive. I will agree that the price for the cars is very competitive; however,... the experience and lack of professionalism is appalling. You may save a few bucks going through this dealer, but it does not outweigh the terrible experience. I went to buy the car on a Saturday, where an older gentlemen was there to only hand out keys for a test drive. When I told him I would like to purchase the vehicle, he said that we would have to wait for his son, as he did not know how to process financing or paperwork on the purchase of a vehicle. Because the drive was so far, we had to wait 2 hours for his son to show up to work. If it hadn't been for the price, we would have walked. Next is what gets interesting. He told me my title would arrive in a week, and we would be good to go. I waited a week and a half, and called the owner. He said he would take care of it and get it out immediately that day. This was on a Monday. Since we were on vacation over Thanksgiving, we didn't get home till the following Monday. Still, no title. I texted him multiple times, and no answer. I then sent another text that said I was running out of time and patience. My plates were about to expire. He proceeded to call 6 times while I was in a business meeting. When I called him back, he told me that I was threatening him and that I would have to come down to the store to get the title. I firmly said this was not possible, as the distance to travel was too far. I requested that he simply put it in the mail and get the title to me. After agreeing, he said that he would overnight the title. This again did not happen. It wasn't even mailed out until 4 days later. When I tried to call over the weekend, I found out that he blocked my number. Now my 30 day tags on the car are expired, and this is my only transport to and from work. Consider this, and the other posts you read, and please think twice before dealing with this dealership.
Where to begin with the wrongs. I would not recommend anyone go to this dealer to buy anything. He has not been straight up with me yet. But the most important... things he forgets; as a car dealer he is in the customer service business. Please don't be a victim of this dealer!
I tried calling the telephone listed for this dealership and it actually went to a cell phone that said leave a message. I tried three days in a row to... get a hold of someone and finally a man named Michael called me back, he talked so fast I couldn't understand what he was saying and I asked him to repeat where he was from and then he started to get upset. I would have traveled from minnesota for this truck but he did not even care to sell this truck. Buyer beware of this dealership, they are up to no good. They should be run out of business. And should be having the attorney general look into there foul business practices. Who doesn't answer there business telephone?? Unheard of. They are scammers!
They guys were very friendly. I bought a Lexus from them and so far it's been a great car. Definitely recommend this dealership for shopping for used cars.
Found the car i wanted on their web site and spoke with Aaron about it. The next day i was there to make the purchase. The facility was very clean and... i got a great deal on my car :)

I called to ask a few questions about a car and about the financing offers listed in the ad. I could tell the guy was getting impatient so I asked him... if he was getting frustrated, and he screamed "Yes! You are asking me financing questions, and you just need to fill out the application!" Please, I beg you people, do not just fill out the application. I asked if it was a hard or soft inquiry- he had no idea what I was talking about. He asked if someone "told me" those words. I then asked if he was pulling my full report or just my score. He said you can't just pull a score, you have to pull the full report. When he told me I didn't know what I was talking about, and I told him I was in the banking industry and did, in fact, know what I was talking about, he got very angry. He told me I was making him yell in front of customers and that he needed to go. I asked to speak with the owner, and he told me he was the owner. I would never have posted a negative review for one bad employee, but I definitely will for an owner of a company. Please be aware that if you fill out the application on the website, you will be allowing them to pull a hard inquiry, which will negatively affect your credit if there are too many hard inquiries.
