Beginning to end, this was the worst experience that I have ever had at a car dealership. Everyone here in sales, finance and service lied to me. Very... dishonest and arrogant group of people. This was my first and last purchase at any Tom Wood dealership.
I was called, brought in for a necessary service, offerred a loaner and they completed the work within an hour! My husband has always owned a Lexus and... swears by their amazing customer service. Tom Wood VW is equal in every way. Thank you to Jack for being the interface of a great experience.
This was our second vehicle that we have had worked on at 3D and both times were great experiences and always under promised/over delivered. David Morgan... does an excellent job communicating the process.
After driving an hour to Noblesville to look at a Volkswagon at another place and it not being what I expected, my mom suggested that we stop by Tom Wood... Volkswagon to see what they had. As soon as we walked in John Pittman greeted us and we told him our situation about how I needed a car, new or used. From the beginning he was amazing. I told him what I was interested in, what my budget was and he quickly found cars that I would like. After seeing a couple cars, my mom mentioned leasing. I was hesitant about leasing (I thought leasing was a horrible idea), but John explained everything to do with leasing to where he made me comfortable with looking into options with it. We showed me a couple newer Tiguans and I fell in love with one. Next thing you know I am sitting in a chair signing paperwork for leasing the Tiguan. They closed at 8, but John went the extra mile and stayed with me 20 minutes after they closed to explained all the buttoms and what the vehicle has to offer. He made sure I understood everything and was comfortable with it. He really knows his stuff. I recommend everyone to go to him for information about a car. David Morgan was also very helpful and nice. I dealt with him with some of the paperwork. Just like John, he was great from the beginning. We were there for a total of 4/5 hours and was starving since we haven’t ate all day. David mentioned that if we went next door to eat at the Stacked Pickle to mention Volkswagon and they will cover our meal for us. Who can pass up a free meal?? Thank you David for mentioning that to us. We really appreciated that. David also went the extra mile and found me a big red bow that I could put on the vehicle for some pictures. I have always wanted to do that and I was so happy that I could. That was a personal highlight for me in the process so thank you David for that! A day after getting the vehicle I got a call from a women saying that there was a recall on the vehicle. I called back to the service department trying to make an appointment for the next day to get it in but that they couldn’t get me in till the following week, but the guy said it wasn’t that major (just a recall on a light inside) so I said I wouldn’t worry about it. The next day David called me saying that there was some paperwork I needed to fill out so I needed to come down again. After work the next day, I drove down to Noblesvilles to do that. I was greeted by David and John again and was told that they were going to do the recall then also. I really appreciated that since I do live an hour away and it saves me a trip. John told me it would 20 minutes but he found out that it would actually be 2 hours. I was fine with that because I had nothing else planned for the day so it didn’t bother me. John offered to drive me to Stacked Pickle so I could eat and mentioned to put it on their tab again if I do. That was very kind of him to offer, but I said that I was fine. It only ended up being an hour wait, but the whole time John made sure that I was fine. The whole process with John and David was amazing. I can’t thank them enough for helping me find my first vehicle. I highly recommend everyone to go to Tom Wood Volkswagon and ask for John/David.
trying to buy a used car that i could afford found a car with 0 down and 99 dollars a month i saw one and they said i was approved but the bank said i... had to get one with at least less than 45 miles on the odometer

I have been going to your keystone location for all of my Passat needs even though I did not purchase my vehicle through your dealership for quite some... time. I just recently got my oil changed at your location earlier today. Unfortunately, this will be my last time ever paying for service at your facility. The past times I have brought my vehicle in to get my oil changed, it took at least 2 hours to get it done. This time, I made sure to make an appointment ahead of time to avoid the wait. It seems every time I arrive and walk into the office to speak to someone to check my vehicle in, there is almost no one in the office. The only one to two people in the office are either on the phone for what seems to be a long period of time, or talking to each other and ignoring that I have been standing in front of them for at least 5 minutes. I understand they are busy, but I am also in customer service and don't just ignore a customer that just walked in and leave them standing there for a period of time. It doesn't matter what age the customer is that walks in, it's unacceptable, and I wouldn't be writing a complaint if it hasn't happened every single time I have brought my vehicle in. No one has EVER came to get me in the waiting area to notify me that my vehicle service has been completed, or close to being done. From past experience, I have always known to go check myself at the office after at least and hour and a half of waiting to see if my car is ready or close to being done. I made my appointment today for 1:30pm and had class at IUPUI downtown at 3pm. You would think an oil change wouldn't take more than 30-45 minutes, let alone two hours. Especially if you had previously made an appointment ahead of time to avoid this from happening again. The customer service I have encountered countless of times, and the amount of wait time I have had to endure for AN OIL CHANGE is disappointing and continues to be a let down. I also had to miss my college class because of this. I parked my car in the garage at 1:15pm and did not pull out of the parking lot until around 3:30pm. I will be sure to hinder other Volkswagen owners from ever using your services, even if it's a small service such as a basic oil change (unless they want to wait 2 hours or more). Over priced for the lack of customer service and efficiency.
Kenny was friendly, easy going- I felt completely comfortable to speak freely and ask many questions. Dealership is awesome and looks new although it... is five years old. I loved the experience although I haven't purchased yet . I left a totally respectable offer on the table and now will see how reasonable they are. I received a text from Kenny thanking me just for coming in. Oh , and they have an awesome customer refreshment area- best I've ever seen.
My VW Jetta TDI was part of the settlement program and I worked with Kenny Scott to make the transition from that vehicle into a certified pre-owned that... fit my criteria. Kenny worked hard to select several vehicles that I drove eventually narrowing it down to one. He's a genuine employee and provides excellent customer service.
We're so glad that Kenny was able to make your transition to a CPO VW a smooth one, Brian! Thanks so much for sharing your experience!
My experience at Tom Wood Volkswagen on 96th street was great! Greg was my sales consultant and he made my first new car buying experience an easy one.... I had a little trouble deciding which car I actually wanted but Greg laid out all of my options right in front of me which really helped me narrow the list down to the perfect car. My experience with the finance manager Sam was also a great one. He was quick and made sure I understood everything I was signing. The facility was very nice and clean and they had lots of options for waiting customers. I could watch tv or plug in my laptop in the business center or if I was a little hungry they even have a nice little complimentary cafe with all types of chips, sodas, cookies, coffee, and water bottles.
Thanks for sharing!
