I was disappointed that it took two days to get my oil changed and scheduled maintenance completed. I did get a loaner car to use, but it was extremely small and difficult to get in and out of.

The car went in on an airbag recall. While there, they inspected and reported on many other elements of the car’s condition. Sure, it tends to get work for them, but it also helps me keep my car in great shape also. They’re pleasant, transparent in their work. What’s not to like!

The service , which was my car's first oil change , and overall checking over the car was fine. But, I had to wait longer than expected. The car service was completed in an hour . I had to wait a little over an hour to get the car! They cleaned and washed the car... but still the extra hour of waiting was unnecessary.

Was basically pushed away because my trade is was worth a lot more than they wanted to pay. Seemed like they didnt want my business since they wouldnt made too much money from me. The finance manager was laughing at me and acted like I came to play games I had cash down and my title but they were not taking me seriously. I was wanting to purchase a 42K with a trade in worth 36500.Ended up going to BMW West County got excellent customer service and purchased a 50K BMW. I even went down on what I wanted on my trade and they wouldn't go not even 300 to wrap up a deal they lost a customer over 1500.We were 2000 off on numbers and all he came up with was 300 where I already went down a lot on my trade.

Never have I been treated in such a way at a car dealership, let alone a BMW dealership. They do not deserve 1 star. They have no control of their sales staff and I guess just let them all do whatever they want with no systems in place to ensure what happened to me doesn't happen. I spoke with a salesman and agreed on a trade value for my car on a new BMW. I dropped everything, made an appointment to come see and buy the car, drove 3 hours to get it, and they accepted a deposit on it from someone else. Not once did they ask for a deposit from me. When I arrived at dealer, they refused to make it right and return the deposit. I had a deal in hand, and was going to write a check in full for the difference, but they screwed me over for a random $500 deposit one of the other salesman snuck in knowing I was headed over to buy it. Not once was I asked to place a deposit to hold it. The General Manager literally did not care, and instead of doing the right thing and returning the $500 deposit to the other guy and selling the car to me, he just shrugged his shoulders and turned me away. There are plenty of other dealers…. Go buy from another.

In this case, we should have done better in informing you that a deposit is required to hold a vehicle and that others were looking at it. Sir, The fact is, you said that you wanted to come to the dealership to look at the vehicle before committing. That was your words, that was your choice. Unfortunately, the decision to commit, a deposit and signed buyer's order from another party was accepted that same day prior to your arrival and prior to you deciding if you wanted to commit. It happens. We are not required to hold a vehicle for every person that says they are coming to look at a vehicle. By law, once the deposit is received and a buyer's order is signed and accepted, we are contractually obligated to hold and attempt to deliver the vehicle to that person, if all other factors such as credit, trade-in, financing, etc. are met, regardless of the dozens of other people that may want to come see the vehicle and possibly decide to buy it. If the deal falls through, the vehicle will again become available. Simple as that. This is required logic for all vehicle sales contracts. It's nothing personal against you or wrong with that. We are sorry that you feel the way you feel regarding our explanation that the vehicle was under contract, for your inconvenience and that you continue to be upset that you missed this one. We hope you can understand, and please know, even though you missed this one, you do have other options. We have over 100 new BMWs arriving soon that you could choose from or you can pre-order and design one to your exact specifications. Should you decide to do that here or any other place, please be sure to sign a buyer's order and place a small deposit toward the chosen vehicle to avoid this situation in the future. Thank you.
They unloaded that car off a truck the afternoon before and it was still in plastic when they sent me pics in the late afternoon just before closing. They called me, had a tentative deal on my car, and an appointment set to drive it. So no one else drove that car, unless they showed up at dealer bright and early because it was in the shop for prep when I showed up at 11:30 am (and they told me guy just called in). By their logic in the explanation above they are saying I could be out on a test drive in the car with a salesman, and while I was out driving it they would sell it out from under me. That is essentially what happened. I know they technically could, and obviously will, but it speaks to the type of customer service and how they do business. They could have done the right thing and made it right, I gave them that chance. However, they chose to make light of it and the General Manager shrugged his shoulders at me stating “It wasn’t like it was out of malice. I have dozens of salesmen, I don’t know what they are all up to.” Yes, that is a direct quote from the General Manager. He then went on to state the guy put a small deposit down, but he had no idea if the guy would even qualify for financing and to cross my fingers….. with me standing there ready to pay cash in full.
As I said previously... Technically you could do what you did, and obviously would. The point of all of this is what was done was very unprofessional, but the way the Manager just blew me off and salesman not having a clue what to do and just kept looking at his boss is what was so unbelievable. The fact that my wife walked out of the place in tears from how we were treated is what has motivated this review. I buy 10-20 new vehicles a year through my businesses, and I am well versed in how the process works. The upstanding thing to do would have been to either tell the other party that there was an appointment booked on that car in just a couple hours, or to at least call me first and say " we have another party going to put a deposit down right now if you don't." So you can spin this how you wish with your talk of how contracts work, and you are correct, but that is not how reputable and upstanding dealerships operate or treat people. I am just warning others of what to expect and proceed with caution when there are plenty of other BMW dealers who are a pleasure to work with.

Nice dealership. Linda S., a service writer, is the best! Car was delivered a day late, but Linda called and explained it was a billing issue. Loaner was ok, but I probably won’t do another. Dent, not detected pre-loaner by Linda or me, was awkward upon return. And now they make note of fuel level. Lexus dealer doesn’t do that. Price of repair was decreased by BMW “service special inspection” discount. Oil leak and diesel fuel filter was $400+. I trust Autohaus as long as Linda is there. Autohaus is still a very nice dealership that I would recommend.
