First of all I don't like long reviews, so I will get straight to the point. We had an overall awesome car buying experience with Rockstar Motorcars!!! We purchased a Supercharged Range Rover, that is simply amazing just as Josh said it would be!!! Josh, which was our salesman is a great person. He took really good care of us, he's a man of his word, he's just a good down to earth guy and he's still fulfilling promises that he made with us a month later. The dealership was very inviting to us. The numbers guy, Bryan was great also, he worked real hard on those numbers. It was an easy, no stress comfortable experience. Thanks Rockstar from the Rockstar Reed's!!!

My experience began when the salesperson I had been working with on the phone told me he would be there until 5 p.m. I arrived at 4:30 and was told her had just left. Another salesperson named Matt was nice enough to help with the vehicle in question. I liked the truck and told Matt I would have to speak with my daughter, the prospective buyer, who lived in Colorado. The next day I called to say she wanted the truck and Matt could work with her and her credit union that had pre-approved her. He sent a purchase agreement to her and copied me. The next day we were traveling and I was going to call Matt and see how things were going when I received a text message saying someone walked in with cash and he sold them the truck. I called Matt to find out what happened. He said he sent me a text in the morning about another buyer. I checked and had no text. I guess it was too much trouble to call, because we had been communicating in that manner. After having the rug pulled out from under us, I'll never recommend or use Rockstar Motors again.

I'm very sorry to hear that Phil is frustrated with his experience. While we do as much as we can to create a positive experience, sometimes there are circumstances we can't control. In Phil's case, I believe that is exactly what has happened. To start, Phil and his daughter Ellen, who lives in Colorado, were working with us towards buying a 2003 Dodge Dakota. I had sent a purchase agreement to Ellen early one morning, and late that day she sent it to her credit union. I was told by Phil that she had been pre-approved for a certain amount of money, so we were waiting to see if she would be able to get approved for that vehicle. Sometimes with older, higher mileage vehicles, financial institutions are not willing to lend the same amount of money towards them due to the fact that they are a higher risk. While a pre-approval is a great start, it is not a guaranteed approval. The next morning around 10:30am, I was told by another one of our sales associates that they had someone potentially coming to see the Dodge Dakota that Phil and Ellen were trying to buy. We get calls like this all the time. Half of the time the people who call never show up. When people do it probably turns into a sale maybe 15-25% of the time. So while we did have someone who said they wanted to come see the Dakota, we of course can't interpret that as they WILL come see it, much less that they will come and purchase the vehicle, even though that is a possibility. Having said that, I immediately sent a text message to Phil, letting him know that while I did not want to rush them, someone else wanted to come see the Dakota. It should be noted that at our dealership we are not allowed to mark a vehicle as sold until we receive a check for the full amount, a letter stating that the customer has been fully approved at their financial institution accompanied with a signed purchase agreement or a $500 non-refundable deposit. I did not have any of these things from Phil and Ellen so the vehicle had not been marked as sold. Around 2:30pm as I was with another customer, a father and son came in, saw the Dakota, and made a cash offer with one of our other salesmen. I wasn't even aware it happened until after the deal had already been made. I had not heard anything from Phil. I then sent Phil another message stating that someone else had come in and bought the Dakota and that I was sorry it had not worked out for them. About 5 minutes later I received a call from Phil who was very upset. He alerted me that he had been traveling that morning and had not received the text I sent earlier. I went back and looked at our message conversation (it should be noted that Phil and I had been communicating through text as well as Phone conversations) and saw that my text had been sent around 10:30 that morning. I took a screen shot and sent it to Phil so that he could see as well. Had Phil received that message, they would have had plenty of time to call in and place a deposit on the vehicle to mark it as sold. Unfortunately, I had no idea that Phil had not received the text. From what I can gather, it seems that Phil would have preferred for me to call instead of text. I can't help but think that even if I had called, it's very possible that due to his phone issues he would not have received that either. I do feel bad for Phil and Ellen, as I know this was not the outcome they wanted. It was unfortunate for me as well, as I obviously did not receive any commission on the Dakota. While I may have been able to handle things slightly differently or more to Phil's preferences, I feel like the ultimate killer was Phil's phone not receiving my message while he was traveling. I know that Phil is frustrated, but I don't feel like I or Rockstar deserve to painted as though we disregarded Phil and Ellen so we could make a "quick cash deal".It's just not what happened. We work very hard to take care of our customers, and I hope one day we have the opportunity to earn your business again.

I stopped into this dealership to check out a BMW 135 that they had in stock. Contradictory to the images featured on cars.com, this vehicle was in poor condition. The passengers door and front panel had clearly been wet sanded and repainted. The strokes from the wet sander were still present in the paint. Furthermore, the clear coat was foggy. The entire paint job was garbage. When I inquired about the quality of the repair, one of the sales persons completely fibbed. He stated that the fogginess was due to tree sap and could be buffed out. This was obviously untrue due to the strokes left by the wet sander. As I scanned their lot, it became apparent that the majority of their vehicles were wrecked and repaired cars. I would not purchase anything from this dealership.
