I had a rebuilt title focus and everywhere I go, no dealership would give me a good trade in or try to give me $500. I went to Global and Bobby help me... sell my car and his finance boss showed me how to get the best deal. I stop by for 3 weeks to get help and see my car. Bobby taught me what to post a Craiglist for my car because his boss set a price so it would work with my downpayment to make the loan. They are very nice funny guys and this is the first time I buy at dealership. I will come back soon for my CLS.
Ok so when it comes to Global Motors... I got pre-approved on a car I really liked online. I was shocked. I could not get a credit card let alone a loan... for a car.... odd right. well heres the thing. They had me lie on the credit information to get me approved. They did not negotiate the price on the car at all even though it had huge scratches on the side, messed up rims. The interior was clean but the window motors were bad, the stereo had so much static there was no point to have It on. The A/C did not work what so ever. Many Many issues with this car. THey assured me they would fix it no cost to me. So I tried to get the price down but they wouldn't budge since they had to do all these repairs, fair enough I guess. I was a young dumb kid so I did it. Looking back there are so many things I would do over with this company. If you go here, don't think they are trying to help you. They will lie cheat and do whatever is possible to steal money from you. They tried to add on the "interest" from my loan on the total payment. Like an additional 4k they wanted me to pay. Ya friggen right. Seriously, watch your back with this dealer. They are slimey
"Mike"- I am not sure if you have us confused with another dealership or this is a bogus review by a competitor. Whatever the case, I would like to se...t the record straight - most of what you are describing couldn't be further from the truth. First of all - we do NOT pre-approve anyone for loans online - ever! Our website or advertising does not state anything of that sort anywhere. The ONLY thing that our website has is a generic Loan Payment Estimator to help customers gauge monthly payment amounts IF they were to purchase a car and finance it, this feature is available on almost every auto retailer's website. It clearly states: "These estimates do not represent actual loan offers. They should only be used as a reference for what you might expect to pay from a third party lender." By no means is that an approval. To obtain an approval for a vehicle, customers have to fill out credit applications which we submit to banks upon speaking or meeting with customers and only then we receive either approvals or denials by financial institutions - it is not up to us nor do we have any control over it. Interest rates, monthly payments and such are all stipulated by the banks and customers sign a contract which the bank provides - we do NOT add any interest onto your bank loan OR your monthly payments - we are not designed that way, that is not how we operate, nor do we have the desire to do so! The rate and monthly payments that the bank gives you is exactly what you pay - no strings attached. We pass that on to you directly. It is unfortunate you have misunderstood your situation. If a customer has no credit, such as the case you are describing, and a bank agrees to lend you money and finance your auto loan, they fell they're taking on a risk because they do not know whether you will pay them back or not, having no prior history to go by - therefore you qualify only for a high interest loan at mostly secondary financial institutions such as Reliable Credit, etc. Their interest rates start at 18.99% and go up to 29.99%. If that is the rate you qualified for and were unhappy about it - that is not in our control. Customers are informed about the rate prior to signing anything so it is up to you to take it or leave it - completely your choice. If you would like, I would be more than happy to go over with you any questions you may have that pertains to your specific situation. As for the issues with the "car", I don't believe we would sell a vehicle with as many issues as you are describing, at the least not without discounting it significantly so that the price is far below blue book value or fixing the issues once brought to our attention. I am sorry to hear you are unhappy with your purchase, however did you even try to communicate with the dealership to find a reasonable solution in addressing the "issues" you were having? We are glad to try and accommodate you the best we can but you need to communicate with us. We strive to improve our customer service every day as every other business and appreciate feedback. However, please refrain from blasting false accusations about what sounds to be confusion over interest rates and other matters that are not true. Again, if you would like, please call or come in and I am more than happy to address your concerns and answer questions. Thanks -Cam
This is my second time buying a car from Global Motors, this time for my daughter. The reason I came back is because they didn't pressure me like all the... other dealers while I was shopping for a car. The salesman and finance manager (which is a different guy than last time) were both low-key and friendly, followed up with me the next day, but I didn't feel like I was being cornered - which is how I have felt several times in the past after going car shopping. They also got me and my daughter a better rate for my car loan than what my bank was offering - which is a plus. I'd probably go back a third time.
There web page looked promising so we checked them out. They have plenty of wrx's and sti's so we figured we would have many choices. We arrived there... and parked in the front where I guess we weren't suppose to park cause the owner was a complete jerk yelling us to move are car. Slavic was nothing but rude to us. Then we moved are car to the rear of the parking lot where it appears they fix there own wrecked cars cause theres a shop w parts and broken cars every where. We should of just left from there but we did decide to look since we drove 1hr to get there. Every car was dirty on the lot we looked at. we mostly went there for an 04 sti w 19k original miles. Can I say ya right the car was a rally car , door panels we all falling off and loose. Car was completely beat. Then we looked at an 07 sti that was nicer but blue wasn't really a color I wanted but I decided to just give the sales guy a low price to see what he would say. He said price is what it is cause its a customers car for sale there but he had room on the beat one. OMG worst dealer ever, Stay at home don't waste the drive.
Just be aware that you may not even get a call / email back. I simply asked to what extent a vehicle had been modified. Never heard back.
Keith, 2 of our sales staff attempted to contact you twice on two separate occasions in the first week of July by phone, in response o your e-mail inq...uiry. You did not answer. I also personally tried to email you - you did not respond. I have call records as well as the email I sent. It is unfortunate we were not able to communicate with one another to get your questions answered - however, my staff certainly tried to contact you. If you are still interested in a vehicle, we would be glad to help you and answer questions - call, email or come in to the store during business hours. Thanks and have a good day. Cam
I was shopping for a Subaru WRX STI and I noticed this place had quite a few. I went in and test drove one car that felt like it had been ran up on a curb... it pulled to the right so hard. That car was out of the picture. I then noticed another STI and after driving it I fell in love, the car drove fine and was decent on the inside. The next day I came back to make the deal. I was lowballed on my trade in, which was an extremely nice car in great condition. but my bad, I made the deal anyways. after only owing the car a week or two problems start arising. I was having to replace parts that would otherwise destroy the engine and after going to a professional to have it looked at it was going to be about 4000 to fix everything(in the engine). that's not including the trunk which has been rear ended and leaked water into the trunk. about two months down the road I get a call from my lien holder on the car I traded in. They were asking me for a payment because they had not received a check from the dealership..... I called the dealership, stayed calm, and was able to get the check sent. not too long after.....the check bounced!!! I believe they made a sale and were finally able to pay my car off but the whole experience and the product I purchased from them was absolutely terrible.
Called if a car had a clean title or not, they said it was clean then later i checked it was a rebuilt. come on now
They are not pushy with the sales and have a lot of insights on the cars features. I bought a Subaru WRX STI, which are very sophisticated vehicle. Came... in without knowing much and left an expert. I would highly recommend these folks and would surely make a purchase again.
Another dealer that gives their own reviews. They kept padding their stats to give them a good reputation.
Upon arriving, the site did not impress as a dealership. No marked customer parking. Parked in the back next to a chain link fence. After getting out,... no one came to help. One of the guys that worked there actually walked past my girlfriend and I. He didn't say a word. The BMW we went to look at (listed on this site) is described as "spotless clean." It has multiple scratches on the front and rear bumper, a horrible tint job that is peeling and the interior looks rather worn. I went inside to inquire about the car. Before I could even inquire about driving the car, the sales guy launches into the features and the price. I ask about driving the car and he says "not without pre-approval." At that point I left. I felt very creeped out by the dealership and there is no way I would be giving them my financial info to process a credit application. I wouldn't feel safe if these guys had access to my social security number. And if anyone from the dealership reads this and recognizes me, I would have paid with a cashier's check if the car would have been to my liking. Way to turn away business.
