Run, run away as fast as you can…
We’ve been customers of this dealership for years now and should have left MANY years ago! They’re the ABSOLUTE worst service out there! The tip of the iceberg was just a couple of weeks ago when our car was STOLEN from their lot during an oil change (the reason for our visit)! Sorry they said, it was a mistake! The auction guy had stolen it by accident!!! xxx?!? 🤬😡🤬 And to fix the situation we got a free car wash and a full tank of gas! Hooray! Just save yourself lots of headache and MONEY and run far away from these crooks!
3 year old van transmission went out.
3 year old van transmission went out. SECOND VAN purchased exactly 101,000 miles transmission went out. Dealership help in any way. NO, just give them the money and move along. Transmissions and oil leaks are know for these products unfortunately we stuck with them. Their loyalty ends when they get their check to xxxx with the struggling families that rely on them!!!!

If I could give negative stars I would. My car was to be serviced on 5/17/22 by GDJCR. It is 7/23/22 & my car is now in worse condition than when it arrived. My vehicle didn't want to start and white smoke was billowing out of the exhaust. The diagnosis 3 weeks later was a blown head gasket. I had my vehicle for 8 mos. There are 60,919 mi. It just passed the factory warranty.. There were talks with my advisor of goodwilling the factory warranty & replacing the engine under it; however my engine stayed torn apart & no one was returning my calls for nearly a mo. I’d contacted the service manager (Chris Elleman) multiple times & the GM over sales & service (Anderson Foster). I finally heard back from the GM after 4 days & he said he would handle things & call me back within the hr, he did not. There was back & forth talk between my warranty company (AUL) & GDCJR for over a mo. with GDCJR saying I need a new engine. AUL approved for head gaskets to be replaced. Not only was my engine torn apart for a mo. & it took forever for the HG to get ordered, it was also was left outside in the rain with the windows down. My car now looks & smells like a junk car. I grew up in poverty, this was my first car I’ve been able to purchase on my own, I spent almost $40,000 & it now looks like trash thanks to GDCJR. I arrived at GDCJR in June to finally receive my rental after requesting one back in May. This took so long because Rachel, my advisor, had the audacity to decide I “didn't need one.” She told Dan it would be too expensive out-of-pocket, they weren't even sure yet I was going to get my vehicle covered under warranty. She never communicated this to me & I had to find out when calling Dan to see where I was at on the list to get one. Never was on a list. This is when I finally got to speak to the service manager. He said he wasn’t aware of my issue (I’d left him voicemails to no avail & I also spoke to the GM of the store so why would he not notify him). He told me he'd call me the next day once he investigated the delay on my car. He said that after inspecting the engine himself he believed that the head gasket repair would fix the issue. This left me feeling insecure because for a month I’d been told I needed a new engine. I spoke with my uncle who has been a mechanic for 42 years & went up & spoke to Chris in person again. I suggested sending off the heads & checking the oil for coolant & he laughed & said my uncle didn’t know what he was talking about. Rachel, blew up on me for talking to Chris and threatened to blackmail me on no grounds. Chris sent her home & her behavior was excused because “she has issues”. Chris said he would speak to the mechanic who originally diagnosed it & get back to me the next morning. He did not. My uncle & I went in person & Chris said he did not have time for us because he “had a business to run.” I told him I was his business. He wouldn’t let my uncle talk to the mechanic. Chris left to go talk to him & returned saying the mechanic just “assumed” I would need one because he didn’t know how long my car had overheated, but I shut my engine off immediately after the smoke came out so Chris felt confident my engine was fine. We proceeded with the head gaskets getting replaced. 2 weeks later I was told the mechanic stripped the threads while putting the engine back together & that AUL denied paying for it. They said I needed to again reach out to AUL & to the dealership I purchased it from to get a new engine. I did so & they all were baffled that GDJCR was trying to deflect their wrong doing onto them. As of 7/23/22 they are demanding I return their rental car. I told them I wanted my car back & they said to tow it to Victory & let them handle it. This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with an establishment. Horrendous communication. Horrendous actions. My car is in worse condition than when it arrived. I am beyond frustrated & have maxed out at exhaustion.
27 years I've been going to this dealership as an individual. Spent nearly a quarter million dollars on vehicles. I've watched the service department change and tge actual dealership over those years. We, the public, normally have one job that is difficult to schedule time off from...and we normally have one vehicle. That being said I cannot stress the importance of a scheduled appointment. 10 days before I scheduled....so I thought...a look under my hood as I have an oil leak...service writer says it looks like you haven't had your 4x service done yet do you want to to that as well...I said yes and scheduled today Friday 25th for this...took off work ..PTO...half a day...he said show up before 7 and we will be sure to get you in early... Showed up, wanted for doors to open...only to be told I didn't have an appointment...and that if I didn't mind they might be able to get me looked at by the end of the day...might... 27 years and I don't want these headaches... I will be taking my vehicle for service elsewhere and more than likely my future business for purchases...
Travis Taylor great salesman
Travis Taylor was great and helpful in our purchase of a new truck! Didnt pressure us in anyway. And tended to all our needs. Will go back to this dealership and Travis again when it is time for another vehicle!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. We experienced it all, lack of communication, gaslighting, mechanics neglect all of it. I will never go here ever again, while I was waiting for 30 minutes on a manager 4 people came in that had been there a week prior so its common that they do not fix things.

This is the worst experience i have ever had with any dealership anywhere. They are crooks. They lied and misrepresented every conversation and transaction i had with them. I am reporting them to the BBB and every other consumer reporting agency i can find. Stay clear of this place and tell everyone you know to also.

If you need a new car or truck do yourself a favor and ask for Jake in sales as soon as you call or walk through the door. Cowboy is also the best. Took good care of me on my néw longhorn purchase. Jeff
Service department is an absolute joke
Service department is an absolute joke. They have had my jeep for over a month now and still cant tell me when it will be done. Every time I call they say they will get back with me and they never follow through. I will never buy, sell or service a vehicle at Gladstone Dodge ever again. And neither should you!

Service department is an absolute joke! I took my brand new jeep in to have a minor manufacture paint blemish fixed. Its been over a month now and they still cant tell me when it will be done. Every time I call and ask they say they will find out what is going on and get back with me and then never follow through. I will never buy, sell or have my vehicle worked on at this dealership ever again and nor SHOULD YOU!!! By the love of god don't do it, go someplace else.
