Worst ever

This dealership from Tim owner's son to Jordan, Fisher and their So called service manager. Full of fake promises and completely rude and abusive. The manner they act the way they handle things. Completely absurd. Took car in for a simple front end diag. Ended up being told i had almost 4k in repairs to be done. Have a warranty on it, so they figured they could easily make money. Little did they know they don't know everything like they chose or would like others to believe. My warranty company sent out a investigator who is certified to look at all their claims. To find out they were all false. Except one. A 600.00 dollar fix.

The Cowboy

Went in bought a SUV from Scott Grogg. He was very helpful & honest. Him and David Reed were awesome and straight forward. I’ve only bought cars from Scott and have recommended several people to him & will continue to do so.

VERY PLEASED! The best new vehicle purchase experience!

We bought a 2018 Ram 1500 Crew Cab, these guys went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. They offered all kinds of great add ons to our truck at prices that couldn't be beat elsewhere, tinted our windows (superb job by Tintsmith) running boards, bed liner and more! Anderson Foster & Jerry Hicks and the entire staff certainly exceeded our expectations! THANK YOU!

Wouldn’t refer my worst enemy here

I don’t even know where to start. We have a 14’ Jeep Grand Cherokee…at 50,000 miles (one year ago) we ran into a string of issues all stemming from the fuel pump & fuel tank. After 4 different attempts and multiple part replacements, it was resolved – or so we thought. Fast forward one year and we’ve ran into the same issue. This is where Gladstone JDC begins to earn their 1 star rating. And if I could go negative 10 stars, I would. Dean checked us in (awesome guy). Gladstone runs the diagnostic and finds it’s a fuel pump solenoid that needs to be replaced. They want $280 out the door ($120 for parts & labor, $160 for diagnosing the vehicle). Keep in mind we’ve purchased 2 brand new vehicles from them in the last 4 years, and this solenoid that needs to be replaced is the same solenoid that was replaced a year ago. We've also spent $3,000 in radiator replacement and steering rack replacements in the last month. I get connected with the service manager. She tells me that FCA won’t cover the solenoid because it was under basic warranty coverage 1 year ago when they replaced it, but because it was replaced the warranty no longer stands. Now if I paid the $280 today to diagnose and repair it would be covered for the next 3 years, but that $100 deductible a year ago for a warranty repair essentially null and voids future warranty work on that piece. I asked the service manager to ask FCA for an exception, but she told me that customers can call Chrysler, but she won’t. So I pushed back and asked to have Gladstone JDC waive the diagnostic fee for me because I have been a loyal customer who’s purchased 2 new cars in the last 4 years. She tells me she won’t be able to pay the mechanics if she waives the diagnostic fee(why lie to a customer?) So i attempt to walk the service manager through the logic on why Gladstone JDC should waive the diagnostic fee, but then she started to get loud and louder to the point where I couldn’t get a word out of my mouth. At this juncture I decided to go pick my Jeep up. I called FCA on my drive to the dealership(took me all of 5 minutes) The FCA rep quickly acknowledged my loyalty to Jeep and advised it would be no problem for FCA to cover the diagnoses and repair. FCA approved it within minutes of my call. The FCA rep also didn’t understand why the dealership was putting me through such rigors on something that should’ve been taken care of with no fight. Apparently dealerships call all the time for exceptions. Service rep at Gladstone also acknowledged this and questioned why they weren’t calling FCA for me. If you want to be valued as a customer and consumer, Gladstone JDC is not the place to take your business. They’re great at the time of sale, but after that you become chopped liver. The take away? The service manager could've done the right thing (has lots of outs). She could've called Chrysler for me. Or at a minimum she could've waived the diagnostic fee and taken the $120 for parts & labor (which i offered to do), but instead she wanted to be combative and unhelpful. In the end, I resolved my own issue (no cost to me as it should be) and Gladstone lost my business & anyone I know for as long as I can control it. 1st Edit (Response to Gladstone) - Apparently the review above wasn't clear enough for Gladstone. Chrysler (FCA) is covering the diagnoses and repairs after a 5 minute phone call. Olathe Jeep now has any and all of my business. 2nd edit (response to Gladstone ) - FCA has approved the repairs. I had to call FCA back with the dealership and appointment time so they could send the authorization over. I made that 2nd call while sitting in your parking lot before picking my vehicle back up. If Gladstone put as much time into taking care of customers needs as they do responding/combating customer reviews they’d probably have a larger and more satisfied book of business. Customer service makes a world of difference in customer retention.

We've also spent $3,000 in radiator replacement and steering rack replacements in the last month. Dean lets me speak with the “service manager” Rachel. She tells me that they “Chrysler” won’t cover it because it was under basic warranty coverage 1 year ago and that I only had to pay $100 for the repair cause of the basic warranty. So, if I pay the $280 today it will be covered for the next 3 years, but that $100 a year ago won’t suffice. I ask Rachel if she can call Chrysler to get an exception for me, and she lets me know that her customers can call Chrysler, but she won’t. So I pushed back and asked Rachel to have Gladstone JDC waive the diagnostic fee for me because I have been a loyal customer who’s purchased 2 brand new cars in the last 4 years. She tells me she won’t be able to pay the mechanics if she waives the diagnostic fee. They’d obviously get paid, but the dealership would take a small drop in the bucket. While trying to walk Rachel through the logic of why Gladstone JDC should waive the diagnoses fee, she started to get loud and louder to the point where I couldn’t get a word out of my mouth. I told Rachel i'd be down immediately to get my car and started to call Chrysler on my drive. I called Chrysler (took me 30 seconds to get someone). The Chrysler rep quickly acknowledged my loyalty to Jeep and said it would be no problem for them (Chrysler) to cover the diagnoses and repair. They approved it within minutes of calling them. The rep also didn’t understand why the dealership was putting me through such rigors on something that should’ve been taken care of with no fight. Olathe JDC now has my business for life even if it means I must drive 40 minutes to the other side of the city. If you want to be valued as a customer and consumer, Gladstone JDC is not the place to take your business. They’ll kiss your a** when you want to buy a car, but when it comes time for a small repair they’ll do whatever they can to bend you over. Point to take away - Rachel could've done the right thing. She could've called Chrysler for me, or at a minimum she could've waived the diagnostic fee and taken the $120 for parts & labor, but instead she wanted to fight a loyal customer. In the end, I resolved my own issue, Gladstone lost my business & anyone I know (for as long as I can control it) , and I will continue to tell everyone about this experience anytime I have the opportunity to do so.

Awful customer service

Don't waste your time!! The customer service is the worse I've seen. Salesman walking around with their head up their xxx. No friendly smiles, head nod, kind gesture or acknowledgment. Perhaps it was because I am a women of color and they assumed I didn't have money or buying power. No problem! I can find a car lot better suited of my money, time and respect.

Misdiagnosed

I'm writing this review only to help improve the dealership service department. I have had 6 Dodge Caravans over the years. I currently have a 2012 Grand Caravan & 2017 Grand Caravan. I brought my 2012 into the shop with a knocking on the front drivers side of the van. The tech said the struts needed replaced along with the brakes and alignment for $1500. I didn't have the funds to justify this repair. I went ahead and replacement the struts and brakes myself. Now after the repair I still have the knocking noise. I took it into Firestone for an alignment and they said the front lower Ball Joints along with the Sway Bar Link kit needs replaced for $1634.10. My disappointment comes from monies that were spent for no reason. I received a call 2 days ago asking me if I was going to bring the van back for repair. I told the gentleman of my disappointment and he said he would forward to service manager. After 2 days I haven't heard a thing. Stay tuned and I will follow up this review if anyone contacts me from the dealership.

Disappointed with the service department & staff.

Dropped off my 2013 Chrysler Town & Country minivan that was having an emergency brake issue. Was told that I would be called with an analysis and cost of repairs. I waited and waited for a call back, and a few hours later I called to check on the vehicle. Was told what the problem was, but the service representative said he had to get details on cost & time to get it repaired. After waiting again another couple of hours for a return call, I had to call again. This was terrible follow-up & communication. When I did get the cost of the repair, it just seemed VERY expensive --- which included the analysis of the problem, it was going to cost around $500. I decided to go to a private automobile shop to get the repair done. My last complaint has to do with the customer waiting area. I would recommend that the owners/management of Gladstone Dodge take a look at Jay Wolfe Toyota on Prairie View Road to see how a customer waiting area should/could be. The customer waiting area at Gladstone Dodge is shameful.
