Our Chrysler broke down while in Kansas City.
Our Chrysler broke down while in Kansas City. The dealership was very helpful and accommodating, from being checked in to getting our car fixed. Sonny and Colby were very caring and professional. I have two new heroes.

Overcharged without response
Before I start I would like to point out my service adviser was extremely helpful, honest, and on top of the game. This review is directed towards management and their customer service department. I was quoted 180.00 on my service for my 16 Jeep Cherokee. We both agreed on this price. My service adviser was out of the office when I picked my vehicle up. I was getting billed 264.80. With customers behind me and my service adviser being out I decided to pay this and I would collect it on the back end. Fast forward 2 weeks and 4 emails (2 of which directly to the service manager) and I have yet to receive a single response. This is unacceptable. I would ok with one missed form of communication. Things happen, I understand that. 4 emails with zero communication in response, even something to let me know this was being worked on shows a complete lack of organization. I even offered the dealership the opportunity to correct this before filing a negative review. Still no response. For this reason I would not recommend this dealership, and I will be returning to Olathe Dodge for all my future service/car buying needs.

Billed over the estimate

Horrible Service
Very few parts in stock. Did not even have the tires in stock. Dropped off on a Saturday morning, promised by end of following week; ten days later they finially completed installing 4 tires and a window regulator (to raise and lower electric window). With the car being a Chrysler product I would think they would be able to service. I would not recommend this service center.

Excellent Dealership
I was looking for a pre-owned version of my dream truck, and I found it. Flying all the way from Maryland and doing business over email and the phone, I can say without reservation that this was my best buying experience in 28 years since buying my first car. First, I want to highlight Adam who was my sales agent. Outstanding communication at every step and always available to answer questions. Second, I want thank Butch who handled the financials and paperwork. Everything squared away when we arrived and accomplished fast. Gladstone Dodge is fortunate to have both as part of their team. Say what you want, but seeing how a dealership treats an out-of-state customer speaks volumes about how they are with local customers. This is a top-notch dealership that I can't recommend enough!

Don't waste time - call Morgan Russell
Morgan Russell the sale rep at gladstonedodgekansascity.com ended up selling me 2 Jeeps, one a Compass and the other a Cherokee. Basically, both deals went very smooth, initially I went on the net looking at other sellers in the KCMO area, after some high-pressure, unprofessionalism, uninformed car salesman, and lots of jive, I contacted Gladstone Dodge Chrysler Jeep & Ram on my list and was put through to Mr. Russell. My license had been wacky for a while, and I was having trouble with my bank ID at the same time, so I called keeping him informed, he offered me a ride thinking I was stuck, but I had one sitting outside. Previous to this he picked me up and drove me home as my Uber account was also out of step. Heck he even arranged to have the car delivered and the paperwork done at my residence as I was not getting around as usual, another time he dropped off a part I needed at for the Compass. He had both cars prepped and topped off with gas which isn’t normal these days when ready. He’s the type of fellow who if called in the middle of the night would be as businesslike as if he were in the dealership. Let me ask you - have you seen the Little Caesars Pizza fellow wearing the white Stetson and a cowboy-tie who comes in the store mentioning a large pizza for 5 bucks, and wonders why there is no wheeling-dealing, no hocus-pocus, no sheepy-shaping – well that is what I got from the other idiots in town – I am not kidding, but Russell took the bull by the horns and kept it simple, returning calls when appropriate and leaving no stone unturned and not to mention - gave me a better deal - and it was over and done that quick. So, do yourself a favor, save yourself a hassle and forget the other folks who make you madder than heck, waste all your time and try and confuse you to get the deal or are so confused they themselves don’t know what end is up. When multitasking taking care of “valued” customers I got the impression that these were not just deals with him - and it’s over, but it starts a journey for us all. I owned, ran and operated a newspaper for 11 years and Russell would have been my first picked employee - as he is not only gets things done, but is professional when doing it, and in this world of idiocy – well do need to say more.

I would not buy a car here
I would not buy a vehicle from Gladstone Dodge. We had negotiated a deal with Dylan and he agreed to throw in some accessories for $800. Before we drove back in I spoke to him on the phone to confirm everything and I told him on principle the accessories had to be part of the deal since he made that offer. I was confirming this because he had waive red back and forth after originally offering it. He told me he would not lose the deal over that. When we arrived to complete the paperwork his manager, Bobby, came out to tell us that was not happening, yelled at us as we got up to walk out and was extremely rude telling us we were the ones blowing they deal among many other things. He was very disrespectful.
