2014 Chrysler 300
Well I tried to fill out the customer service buying process portion but apparently it does not work if you're on a cell phone. Overall the buying process was very easy pain free the sales staff was excellent the finance manager was excellent the Internet Sales Manager was very good at his job and we worked a great deal out with him. My salesman Undra Matthews was awesome he took care of me from the start to the finish. Got a really good deal on my car felt very comfortable the entire time I would highly recommend checking them out!

My Used 2014 Dodge RAM dies while on the highway
My vehicle has been in service with Dodge 4 times since the beginning of August, 2015. It randomly shuts off when I’m driving down the highway, puts itself into neutral and loses power. I’ve had it in twice at Gladstone Dodge, where I originally purchased the vehicle, and twice at Olathe Dodge. They can’t figure out the problem. I drive over 100 miles roundtrip per day, and they will not allow their technicians to drive it over a certain amount of miles to properly diagnose it, even after I have given them permission to drive it an unlimited amount of miles to fix it. I purchased the 2014 Dodge RAM 1500 on October 10, 2014 – haven’t even had it a year. I’ve made 12 payments, 4 of which the vehicle has been in the shop. Today they instructed me to come pick up the vehicle – they have a module plugged into the diagnostic steering column port and a button I have to push that relays information to this box. Even after I have provided video of what the truck does, they want me to push this button when I’m driving 70 MPH on the highway and it dies on me. When did I stop becoming the consumer and became a technician? Isn’t this why I have a manufactures warranty? Why is this not safe for their technicians to diagnose, but its fine for me and my family? This vehicle is a death trap not only to its passengers, but any vehicle around it when it stalls. I have had a case open with Chrysler since August, but it is no help. I told the technician today I wasn’t sure if I could hit the button in time when the vehicle dies while driving because I freeze up when it stalls and I have to immediately look for a safe place to pull over – pushing this button isn’t going to be a natural reaction. He wasn’t concerned, and said not to worry, I can push the button the next time it can store up to 3 of the recordings. I don’t qualify for the lemon law because I purchased the truck with 5,533 miles on it.

Used Car Purchase From xxxx!
I have been in the market for a Jeep Grand Cherokee for about 6 months now, and finally found one that really stuck out to me at the Gladstone dealership. Everything seemed to be going great and I decided to make the purchase. While test driving and looking the vehicle over however I made sure to ask a lot of questions because I wanted to make sure that I was making a smart purchase. One of my questions concerned the warranty. The gentleman Gilbert Lupercio assured me that I would be receiving a 3 year and 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. Since I was purchasing a used vehicle with just over 37,000 miles on it I wanted to clarify what he was telling me because I assumed that this warranty had already expired. No he told me, I would be receiving 3 years and 36,000 additional miles from the day that I purchased the vehicle. My boyfriend then double checked what he had just heard and we received the same exact answer. At this point I knew that there was no way I could turn down this vehicle, because a warranty like that was a fabulous addition to everything else that I was receiving and we got started signing the paperwork. We ended up getting almost all of the paperwork completed, I had even written the check, when the gentleman that deals with payment and warranties asked us if we wanted to add any bumper to bumper coverage to our vehicle for $125 a month. My boyfriend and I both looked at each other a little confused and I explained to the gentleman that that wouldn't be necessary because we were already getting the additional 3 years and 36,000 miles. He then told us that that was not in fact true and was curious why we would think this. We explained, and he ended up calling Gilbert in the back room to see if in fact this is what he had told us. So we asked Gilbert and in front of this other gentleman he again told us exactly what he had told us when we were looking at the car. The other gentleman then corrected him, and Gilbert attempted to say that he had just misspoken and that he had corrected himself when he was first working with us...a blatant lie, which we proceeded to call him out on. Needless to say we were incredibly upset and disappointed that this vehicle had been falsely advertised to us, and after much discussion, another gentleman named Gerald Bentley was brought in in an attempt to resolve the issue. He ended up offering me a master shield protection that protects the paint and seats and a detail that I would be able to come in once a year for, for as long as I own the vehicle. So while this was no bumper to bumper warranty I accepted that he was making an attempt to resolve the issue. He told me that I could bring the car in the following week and they would do that as well as get me the spare key that I had been promised. So I made arrangements to drop my jeep off for an entire day because I work across town and couldn't get it there in the middle of the day. Then I thought all of the drama of the evening had been resolved until I got into my vehicle for the first time, turned it on to find that the gas light was on, even though Gilbert had promised that they had filled up the tank for me. So at 8oclock at night after spending several hours already at the dealership, I had to take one of the salesmen over to the gas station to get my car filled up. The next week then I dropped my car off for the day that I had scheduled, and when I arrived back to pick it up I instantly noticed that the back windows were still very dirty due to my dog riding in the car over the weekend...so much for that great detail that I was promised. At this point I decided to just ignore it, because I was honestly just sick of dealing with the incompetence within this dealership and I drove home. Well my car is a push to start so you just need to have the key inside for it to start up, and since I had both the original key and the spare with me, it started up no problem. Well the same can't be said for the following day when I removed the keys from one another, left one in the house and went to leave for work. I'm sure you can guess what happened next....the key didn't work...so not only had they half xxxxx cleaning out my car, they had failed to make me a usable spare key, which I must now drive all the way back to the dealership, leave my car for another whole day just so that the problem can be resolved. Honestly, one of these problems I might have been able to forgive, but the fact that pretty much every department has proven that they are clearly not capable or knowledgeable individuals leads me to NEVER recommend this place to anyone EVER! If I could go back I would have stayed far away from this place, and I suggest others do in the future!!!

Won't honor recall notice
They won't honor your recall - don't go here, don't buy jeep. Our 2005 Liberty rear control arm rusted and broke while our daughter was driving the vehicle. Covered under Recall L27, but this dealer will not honor it, and want's over $200 to fix it!

Watch out for Finance Managers
Bought a new Cherokee a few months ago. Salesman was great, but watch out for the Finance Managers. They are shady. Get everything in writing from them (you'll thank me later). Basically I was lied to by the Finance Manager that helped me & by the time I found out, it was too late to do anything (had to do with a Service agreement). Dealership did nothing to fix the situation. And forget about trying their service dept unless you don't mind waiting weeks for work to be done (or 3-4 hrs just for an oil change)

watch for hidden cost, and forget you after purchase
I have bought three new vehicles, I am livid over agent fees, which by law they can charge the cap of $199.99. After the sale the sale the honeymoon is over. I was the fool and did not catch the agent fee until I went to register my vehicle. Quick throw out the paperwork. I as previously stated did not catch this. I want to cancel maintenance plan, just don't trust this either. I will not return to this dealership, and to think after three new vehicles from them. This is the end. Adam was good at what he does, do not get me wrong, he did me right, it was the next step, I won't forgive.

TRUCK GUYS READ HERE
I bought my truck here March 1st this year. Its already been back to the dealership five times. The last time I went to pick it up (after they said it was done) I got in the truck and noticed the check engine light was on. I go back inside and told them it had a CEL. A guy from the service department comes out (not a technician) and clears the code. I get half way home and the light re-appeared. I've told them I am sick of driving back and fourth to their dealership. There is no way they properly "inspected" this thing before I bought it. Which they later admitted the "new" guy checked it over. I figured. NEVER take a diesel truck to these guys for service or buy one here. I have called at least twice a week for the past 3 weeks asking about the code my truck is throwing and they cant give me a straight answer other than "Oh can you read me that code again?" "I'm still working on it." I am a mechanic by trade and just like the old saying goes "If you want it done right, then do it yourself" Never buy a diesel truck from these guys. Their skills are incompetent as far as diesel pickups go. They even admitted that to me. Another excuse they gave me for always having to bring it back and never getting it right the first time is they don't have enough diesel trained technicians. Truck was sold to me having previously a power programmer which actually voids factory warranty and they didn't disclose that prior to sale. I had to find that out myself. They replaced the computer free of charge. That's how I feel about this juke joint. They tell you everything you want to hear to make the sale then once that sale is made they don't seem to give a sh*t about the problems your having. Cant wait to see what BS excuses they write to this review.

These people are top notch
I dealt with Tony Chambers-Sales, AJ-, A finance mgr and Brent-Parts Mgr. I got there in the late afternoon and we closed the deal that evening. Tony stayed past closing time for me. Went back for one minor issue that was solved to my satisfaction. If you're buying a car from this dealer see Tony and he will take care of you. Very straight forward. No bull. Good place. Go there.

Shawn Siegel - OUTSTANDING!
Shawn was awesome! We did most of our initial consulting via email, I live in St. Joseph and didn't want to make the 1 hour drive just to waste my time. He was straightforward, honest, efficient and personable. He was able to get me into the car I wanted, at a price I could afford, with the very least hassle possible. I have to say it was the most pleasant car buying experience that I have ever had! Definitely worth the drive! I will recommend Gladstone Dodge to anyone who asks and probably some that don't!
