fast and friendly service. mike in service is awesome. got in and out of there in less than an hour. I look forward to coming here, cause I know I'll be... taken care of.
I bought a brand new car today and I am very happy with service and car buying process that I highly recommend Covina Kia because they strive hard to make... it good experience by being fast and friendly from start to finish. However I do wish that I got a full tank a gas like they promised me but overall I am happy and in a car that I love .
In November 2017, I was looking to trade in my 2014 Kia Optima. I was promised (by the sales manager Jeff) that they would park the last 2017 Kia Sorrento... in the back so that I could pick it up the next day. When I got there after driving over 150 miles, I was informed that the car had been sold. (Problem #1) The only alternative was to purchase a 2018 Sorrento, which was over $10,000 more. After much haggling, I decided to do the deal. Only problem, they never paid my Kia Optima off. (Problem #2) Kia Motors Finance called me in January to continue making the payments on the Optima (that I no longer had). After trying for days to get in touch with Jeff, and repeatedly told to talk to KMF, I was informed that there was nothing Covina Valley Kia could do. After weeks of attempting to take it higher up the chain of command, I was finally able to speak with Wes Parker, the GM. Eventually, he agreed to send me a check to resolve the last 6 months of payment that I owed. The only problem was that the payment was now over 30 days late, and it was reflected on my credit report. (Problem #3) I called KMF again to dispute the late payment, and they told me to get a letter on official letterhead from Covina Valley Kia explaining that I was not the one responsible for the payments. Unfortunately, upon asking CV Kia for the letter I was informed that that was not a service they could provide. (Problem #4) I consider myself to be a very patient and reasonable man, but after such an unprofessional and discourteous experience with Covina Valley Kia, I decided I would be remiss as a customer to not share my story with others and warn them against doing business at such an establishment.
My husband and I went to price and test the Kia I have never owned a Kia before. We were greeted my Mohamid really nice and patient person. I am very picky... about the comfort of the vehicles. We must of tried about 5 different cars and styles. I fell in love with the 2018 Kia Soul. I told Mohamid that we still had a car loan on one of my current vehicle. He was confident that he could get me a deal I could not refuse. Me and my husband were doubtful as we have a tight budget. Needless to say. I am a proud owner of the 2018 Kia Soul. Thanks Mohamid
After an unnerving purchase experience, having to wait 4 days for my CPO 2013 Sorento to be delivered due to code clearing issues (so the dealer told me),... my vehicle has now barely passed the warranty limit when it registered a p200a error which I had a mechanic assist me in diagnosing. Already understanding what the problem was, I called and explained the error to Valley Kia who scheduled me for a diagnosis. Upon confirming my own diagnosis, I was presented with a $150 diagnosis fee, which had not been agreed to, and which I refuted. Since the service personnel had never disclosed this fee to me, they admitted to the fault and erased the fee. 1100 miles later, my left front headlight appears to have burned out, but upon inspection by myself, the plastic connector is melted and unable to maintain connection to the bulb. Valley Kia again fell short by informing me that to replace the wiring harness, it’d run me about $2,100 just in parts. Otherwise, my only other option is to replace the headlight assembly entirely, only $400+, again, parts only. I was appalled, needless to say, adding that this is akin to replacing the plumbing system in your house to fix a leaky faucet, let alone replacing the whole faucet for a simple leaky washer. And despite describing the problem in great detail, they only offered that I schedule a diagnostic. I suggested that I could come by and have the problem ready for them to verify by showing them the melted connector, and I understand there may be an underlying problem, but I was told there was nothing they could do except to replace the entire unit and or wiring harness. I hope their faucets never leak. I’ll fix my vehicle myself, thank you nonetheless Valley Kia.
We worked with Chris and he did a great job in spending time to help us select the right car for our needs. We purchased an Optima Hybrid plug-in. It’s... a beautiful car!
Went to by a Kia forte , not even a new one...wanted a uesd one , was on a budget and only wanted to spend less than 15000 out the door..i found a car... online, so I went ? When I got there I had alredy spoke to tux on sales representatives. I had alredy told them what I wanted n I made sure we got straight to business. My credit score was a 765 and I wanted to do a tread in. These guys , first lied about the car, bcues when I came it was not there anymore...then I tryed to finance a car and they wanted to give me 2000 for my 2013 Chevy Sonic. Then they keept playing with the number, try to make me get this car out my budget and my payments were even off. Omg what a head ack... fanily I walked n the representative there was making all the choices, ran out to chase me becues he knew he had messed up...but aging waste of time n the whole think was a joke. The started by telling me "I didn't really want a car, cuz if I did i would of got it" wrong I didn't want to get sucked in to buying something I know I could get better price for. Anyhow I went to Honda n I got a 2018 Honda civic LX. Which I'm so Happy with...no I don't recommend this dealership . He'll no I won't ever buy a car there...they need to hire people with more skills in customer service. So sad
MY BRAND NEW CAR BOUGHT FROM THIS DEALERSHIP BROKE DOWN THE NEXT DAY! I bought my Kia Niro on 2/18/18 and it broke down the next day as I was driving on... the freeway! It stopped running at 160 miles and I had to be towed to the nearest Kia dealership -at night. I did not even have my car for 24 hours! Today is 2/22/18 and my car is still at the service department and still not working. I called Covina Valley Kia to see what they can do -and they're just giving me the run around. They sold me a car that completely stopped working the day after I purchased it! This is unacceptable. This is wrong. Please don't buy your car from Covina Valley Kia! It might break down the following day!
Our salesman Ashton was excellent! Courteous, professional, knowledgeable, And really worked to get us the best deal, which he did!! One of the most impressive... experiences was how little time the process took, ie..paperwork, contract signing, going over the new car features, what an effortless process!! Past purchases with other dealerships, ( not KIA) was a 3 to 5 hour ordeal. Not at Covina Valley Kia! 2 - 2& half hours is all it took!! Overall I would recommend to anyone who is purchasing a new car to go to Covina Valley Kia!!!
We drove all the way from San Diego to buy a car there (we were looking for the brand new Kia Niro Plug-In hybrid, and there was only a handful of those... in the whole state as they are so new to the market)The whole team made the experience seamless and effortless (from trying the car to financing) and we left in no time as the happy owners of a new Kia with great financing. And by the way, this car is outstanding and I will highly recommend it to anybody looking into a plug-in hybrid. When you go there, ask for Sal!
