Joel sold me a vehicle that WILL NOT START after

Joel sold me a vehicle that WILL NOT START after purchasing it on May 2nd [it is now May 31st]. The check engine light came on 6 days after purchasing the car [less than 100 miles of driving] and would not accelerate over 50mph. Spent $1,000 trying to get the thing fixed, and now he is 'too busy' for my phone calls and leaving my text messages on open without replying. Total joke.

These guys (Joel) are rude and way over priced.

These guys (Joel) are rude and way over priced. The car was so over priced the bank would not lend on it. Then instead of calling me back to tell me they would not deal on price they waited until I got there to tell me. Total waste of time. Joel got a little rude when I told him I would not over pay for a vehicle. He said I should just bring the difference in cash. Avoid this dealership!!

I have listened to the recorded call. This is not true. We have upfront no haggle pricing. You were told this upfront. On the second recorded call you informed Joel your bank would not loan you the entire total including taxes and tried to use this as a negotiation tool. We are sorry you could not get approved for the full amount we would love to have earned your business. We offer great pricing according to the current market and we are not changing our business model.

It is 100% true. Then Joel said he would call me back in 10 minutes once he had an answer. He didn’t and I drove all the way just to find out . That was rude and disrespectful of my time. And yes, he was rude when I said I would not over pay for a vehicle. Which this vehicle was listed way over priced. So yes, everything about my review is accurate. Looking at your other responses to negative reviews says everything about you and the dealership. “It’s ALWAYS the other persons fault”

THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO FOR A USED VEHICLE!

I have now purchased (2) vehicles from Rick Shaffer (Owner) of Hendersonville Auto Brokers. From both of my experiences RICK IS A STAND UP GUY: PERIOD! I purchased a 2013 Mercedes SL 550 back in June of 2022. Loved it, great car. After owning it for a couple of days I noticed that one of the eyebrow lights on the headlight wasn't working. Since I had purchased the car "as-is" with no "we owe" or anything else I called Rick asking if he knew someone that could replace it AT MY EXPENSE and that I understood that my purchase was "AS-IS". To my surprise and delight Rick said that it WAS NOT ON ME and to bring the car in and he would get the light replaced. Not a cheap or easy fix as the whole front fascia of the car has to be removed in order the replace the headlight. He provided me a loaner car while the light was replaced; again GREAT GUY. I know this is long but just before Christmas this year my step sons car threw a rod. $11,000 repair bill to replace the engine was not an option on his 2011 Hyundia Sante Fe. I thought we would take a look at what Rick had available. My step son found a 2015 KIA Soul and Rick made us a great deal on it. The car did have an open re-call from KIA which Rick (again) took care of and (again) provided a loaner car while this was done. Did I mention that he came in on Christmas Eve, Eve to meet us and make the whole thing possible? He did. GREAT GUY, GREAT DEALERSHIP. Rick is a man of integrity. I will recommend his dealership all day, everyday. Very rare in today's world.

After care

I was very satisfied with the purchase. It was a used 2014 GLK 350. I love it but when purchased , right left bottom light was gone and was supposed to be ordered and replaced. Called several times since they said it had been ordered when purchased! Forward several months and a few phone calls, still no replacement! At this point we will replace it on our own. It is not about the money but about principal! Not ONE phone call from them letting us know when it had arrived!
