Not a Good Review. Price On Line NOT a Honored Price. Tried to Purchase online (not the advertised price) Made a phone call first thing in the morning; Stated from Sales Manager that this would be Top Priority, Get back with you within 1 (one) Hour. Not, I called back 2 Hrs. Later still had to fill in other Manager about a possible vehicle purchase. Ended up wasting my whole day to travel and purchase a vehicle. Not At This Dealership!!
Poor Customer Service
In June I tried for 2 weeks to get in touch with the service department to set an appointment for a safety recall regarding the Anti-Lock Brake System. Finally talked with the service manager and set the appointment for 07/20/2022 at 8am. I decided when I got to the dealership to have my oil changed. I received a call about 3 hours later telling me that my car was ready but could not repair the defect in the abs system because the part was back ordered. I find this very poor service since the only reason that I waited for over 30 days was to have Southtowne repair the ABS defect. As a customer why wasn't I notified that the appointment needed to be rescheduled because the part was not in. Your logo of DEALER FOR A LIFETIME is somewhat skewed. Any future business that I do is to repair the ABS defect. Will not be buying or getting my car serviced at Southtowne any longer.
If you come here ask for Tom he’s an amazing person even
If you come here ask for Tom he’s an amazing person even though the car I wanted was sold when I got there, my interaction with him was the best service I’ve had at a dealership he didn’t try to up sale me he kept everything 100 he’s just an all around great salesman
Bought extended bumper to bumper 100k warranty.
Bought extended bumper to bumper 100k warranty. Show 2 videos of an issue with car. Computer not showing codes. Mechanic states ..what am I supposed to do replace all 500 sensors. Service manager states leave car for undetermined period of time, no loaner and would be charged diagnostic fees until they could locate the issue. States if they had a loaner it would go to one of the cars that has been there for over 100 days. This is my 4th new car bought from this dealer and it will be my last!
Do not do business here
On May 27th 2022 I made a $3000 deposit for a Hyundai Ioniq 5 Limited with Glenn McParland. It is set to arrive June 14th 2022. I called in Thursday June 2nd at 644 pm and asked if I cancelled my deposit if I would be able to get a refund. The salesman that answered said "absolutely". I did not get a name but since you record customer calls, you should be able to verify. I asked because we found a great deal in another car. If they had said no to a refund, I would have waited on the loniq 5. I went a head with the deal on Friday June 3rd 2022 in the morning and bought the other car. Around noon June 3rd 2022 I visited the dealership to cancel my reservation and process a refund of $3000. I was told I could not get a refund for a reservation made on May 27th. I considered trading the car I just bought towards the Ioniq but reconsidered when I got home. I contacted Southtown Hyundai Newnan again on Sunday 5 June 2022. I was called back to come to the dealership and talk to a "VIP Manager". I was led to believe someone would be helping me with this issue. I arrived at 130 PM only discover there was no manager. Just Glenn McParland with the same story about "no refunds". I told him what I thought of this dishonest situation. I left and now we have this. I ask again for a refund of the $3000 deposit I made on May 27th 2022 so that this may be put behind us and not escalated to the authorities or public forum. Both Hyundai of Newnan and I stand to benefit from an amicable resolution. I will remove this review once my refund is given.
Service department does a terrible job.
Service department does a terrible job. Very unprofessional. Can't even put an oil cap on without losing it after doing an oil change.
Horrible
My car was there for 3 months for a recall. My service advisor quit or was fired, no one told me. For 3 weeks I was next. As soon as I contacted an attorney and made them aware my car was finished within a 3 days. The communication was horrible I had to spend over 5000 on rentals because they didn't have any loaners available. I work at Kia where it was originally diagnosed before going to the dealership. I still have an open recall and it drives funny
Liars. Don't Trust Them.
I inquired about a used vehicle by phone. They told me one story to get me to drive an hour to their dealership. Then the story changed. Horrible, dishonest people. Don't trust them.

Terrible, dishonest people. Will lie to you multiple times on the phone just to get you to drive to Newnan. Horrible.
What does it take to get some help from the Hyundai...
What does it take to get some help from the Hyundai customer service team? I filed a ticket on November 10 for my inoperative BlueLink and was told the issue would be resolved in 3-5 business days. Well, I called on day 5, 7, and 9 and I HAVE STILL NOT received any help. Its infuriating that your CS and engineering teams can continue to ignore a customer who just spent this money on a car. What will it take to get someone to fix this or least give me a call? Initially I was pleased with my Santa Fe Limited edition but when I picked up the vehicle after purchasing it I was greeted with 27 miles to empty on the gas tank and no second key. I was told the key was in the mail but that was three weeks ago and still nothing on the front. I'm hoping these issues don't happen to someone else but its definitely not too late to earn my trust back. Find the key and fix the BlueLink and I will be a happy customer.
