Lash/White plains is a no no. They are the worst and just can’t cover up their lies . Autozone mechanics are more trustworthy and reliable than these people..... Shame leaving a review in their page requires me giving 1 star which they are very far from.. too many lies and will delay answering questions to think of an excuse.. Hey service advisors at Lash/White Plains, heres a tip for future customers you are going to rob, At least keep the car in the shop longer than half an hour if you plan on charging 3 hours of labor cause the year is 2020 and cars have cameras and trackers now a days lol..will never be returning here nor will I ever recommend anybody to this service center.
Victor - this does not sound like the honest and accommodating service I expect from my team. I value your business here, and I'd like to speak with y...ou to learn more about what happened during your visit. If you feel comfortable giving me a call, I'd love to hear from you directly. Thank you, Kathy Finn - Customer Care Manager - (877) 811-9330
This company is crooked beyond belief. They don't return calls and they try to rob you on the warranty. Do let any technicality cause them to owe you because... it will eons before you get paid.
We would never want to treat our customers in the manner you've described here so this is very concerning to read. Would you please give me a call? I'...d like to discuss this with you further. Thank you, Kathy Finn - Customer Care Manager - (877) 811-9330
Had a VW Passat that was coming off lease (3rd Passat since 2000), obtained from another dealer located at an inconvenient distance. Went to Lash, selected... a Tiguan that was in the delivery pipeline and made a deal that was fair (not fair as in "almost poor" but fair as in equitable). They took us out of our existing lease before the end of term and Tom, the GM, provided excellent guidance on the scheduling of that. Even more, after receiving a surprise invoice a couple of weeks later for "excessive wear and tear" on our turn-in vehicle, I went back to Tom and reviewed the matter with him. He was able to make that invoice disappear. Really intended to write this two months ago. Definitely will go back to Lash as long as we stay with VWs.
They tried to retroactively increase the price of my car two months after I bought it, after I asked for $50 they owed me. The problems started when they... tried to sell me a service loaner they weren’t technically allowed to sell yet, which resulted in numerous delays. They agreed to give me $50 off the $17,000 car to compensate me for the gas money and whatnot (an "inconvenience adjustment check). Since I had a certified check, they said they would just mail me the $50 off along with the title. The title came late, and was then mailed to a Nissan dealership in Long Island by accident for good measure. When I finally went to pick up the title, there was no check. I asked about this, the manager went through his papers, and eventually found the paper in writing that said they owed me $50, and he agreed to mail me a check. The check never comes ... for $50. I started calling the dealership periodically to ask where my $50 is. I kept getting the run-around or transferred to voicemails that never called me back. $50 isn’t a lot of money, but this is just insulting and I didn't want to let them forget that they agreed - in writing - to pay me $50. Finally, some manager explained to me today that they simply weren't going to pay me, and then further threatened to charge me an extra $500 RETROACTIVELY on the car because they claimed to have "miscalculated" the tax and they could totally call the DMV or whatever to make me pay it (and then later on explained that they had already paid it, and maybe they wanted it back). I told them that the taxes, fees, etc were included in the total cost of the car and I didn’t owe them any money for their mistake, if that is even how those taxes worked, but they absolutely owed be fifty xxxxxxx dollars and it was in writing. WHAT THE xxxx IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?!? I just bought a car from them, why would try to rip me off of $50???
Zack - We certainly would never want our customers to be treated in the manner you've described here. I definitely need to look into what happened her...e and see how we can make this right. I will search for your contact information, but please give me a call as well. Thank you, Kathy Finn - Customer Care Manager - (877) 811-9330
So my boyfriend came here and put a refundable deposit down to hold a 2 door Audi that they had for sale. Used, 2016- it was cute. I don't understand why... a Volkswagen dealership was selling and Audi but whatever. We put a deposit down with our sales rep, Yanelisha. We came right before closing however so she said to come back the next day to do a test drive. Next day we came, and our sales rep had to run outside to stop her manager/boss from going home with the car we had ALREADY put the deposit on. Fast forward, we didn't take the car because the monthly payment was going to be crazy for a 2016 vehicle. It didn't make sense so we asked for the deposit back. The paper we signed says "This order shall not be binding upon you or me until all of the credit terms are presented to me in accordance with regulations "Z" (truth-in-lending) and are accepted by me. If I do not accept the terms when presented, I may cancel this order and my deposit will be refunded. " Soooooo clearly this transaction is refundable, so I dont understand why they're being shady and not answering or returning our calls all of a sudden. When we do get someone on the phone our sales rep that we worked with- Yanlisha- is always out and never available to talk. This transaction took place 5/31/19, today is July 1st, 2019. We have yet to receive our deposit back. Shame on you Lash Volkswagen for your shady business tactics. We won't stop until we get our deposit back.
Go see Edwin he will get you in and out . He was great from start to finish. He helped in selecting a new car and trading my old one. He asked what i... wanted and also what i needed in a vehicle and did exactly what i asked. We finished up the process with a new business manager Chip he was also great . They asked if all questions was answered and wanted to assure i was purchasing the vehicle i wanted and if i was happy . They offer everything from insurance options and also additional accessories for my vehicle. The new Management team in place is great and i will also shop here again for my next vehicle purchase. They not only gave me a better deal than nearby dealerships they beat it. Thank you guys over at Lash VW .
This review is making us blush Tyrell! Thank you for choosing to work with our team at Lash Volkswagen of White Plains. We look forward to the oppor...tunity to serve you again in the future. Enjoy the ride!
I bought a 2012 certified Passat, the sale person said this has on issue at all, but actually the car has accident before, dealer repaired. But as a certified... car, still have some issues make me have to go back to them, I live one hour away from them. sale person let go after two weeks I bought the car, whatever she told me, the dealer not admit, never go back to this dealer, if you don't want waste your money, stay away.
I called Lash on a Tues. about a 2012 vw golf they had advertised on there site to schedule a test drive. I was told by their salesman the key was lost... and he would call the next day to insure it came in to test drive the car. No call. I called the next day and the salesman was off. Doesn't he know he was going to be off the day before? I spoke with the secretary who said she would tell the salesman to call us the next day when he came back to work no call. I called again and was told we would get a call back about the key and maybe could come in on the weekend. No call. I called again on Monday and was told the car was sold on Sat. What a run around. I spoke with the used car manager who said he would have the manager call me Tom Backer so far no phone call. I was so upset with this waste of time, poor communication and lack of consideration. I am in the market to buy two cars and wanted to come in and test drive them both at the same time. Stay away!!!! Unless you want to waste your time, lack of follow through which shows they do not care about potential customers. Unbelievable! .
Returning a 2013 VW Passat on a end of lease and was amazed on the personal attention received that I ended up leasing a 2016 Passat. The salesman John... BATISTA was great. He was very patient, knowledgeable with the vehicles features and options. A real pleasure to deal with. His general manager Tom was also a very professional and I would highly recommend that you ask for these two gentlemen in person.
Horrible experience. Rude, disrespectful and unprofessional sales manager (Mike Spatola). Stay away from this dealership.
Lora, we are sorry to see your negative review. We apologize for the miscommunication. Please understand we had no intention of being rude or disrespe...ctful. Please call our General Manager Tom Backer at (844) 301-2632 so we can hear more specifically about your issues. We look forward to hearing from you.
