I own a 2017 Kia Soul that has three spots on the hood I was told by the service department it is tree sap and is considered environmental and will not... be covered by warranty. This is not a tree sap issue this is a paint issue that they are unwilling to stand behind. FYI
The general manager went above and beyond to help me get a new Kia Soul. My credit rating was not the best. He really worked hard on my behalf. He... got a good rate and car payments I could manage on a fixed income.
Stopped by to get information on leasing a Kia and was met by Richetta Reed. She was most informative on the Kia and met every sales point possible. Her... extensive knowledge of your product cannot be surpassed. I highly recommend this representative and have leased a 2016 Kia and plan to stay a member of the Kia family for a long time..

I purchased a used 2015 Kia Sportage from Kia of Lynchburg in December 2016. After having a great experience purchasing the Sportage, I've been using... the service department for all my regularly scheduled service. On every visit I've been met by friendly, courteous staff. The service manager I've interacted with, Christy, does an excellent job ensuring the service is completed in a timely manner. Not once have I had an issue after having service performed. The mechanics are apparently top notch. And I have to mention Richetta Reed, who comes by the waiting area and is friendly, funny, and such a nice person. Overall an awesome dealership.
Service dept is the best!! Christy and Joe care and are always so nice, as well as the mechanics. This is my second Kia and the great service dept is... one of the main reasons I purchased again. They will definitely look after you!! I truly appreciate this kind of top notch customer service!!

My husband and myself had been shoppijg around for a car. We had almost decided on another car with another dealership until we went to Kia of Lynchburg.... We went in, talked to Richetta, and left with a brand new Kia Soul. We had researched the safety reviews on the Soul beforehand and Richetta confirmed. She also showed us all of the great features of the Soul. She went above and beyond to meet all of our wants and needs. She was friendly and we are thrilled with our new purchase. I live in Indiana. Noticed I was having trouble with my wheel upon my return from dinner to my motel in Virginia last month. My wheel was cooking, crackling,... sizzling, with excessive heat coming from it. I didn't know what was wrong but knew something was up. Since I'm from out of state and a woman, I always fear getting taken advantage of from mechanics and dealerships. Believe me...I've been to some Kia dealerships that yanked my chain. Luckily...the night guy at my motel was out smoking...I called him over to my car. He expressed his opinion and said "yeah..you need to get that looked at." He suggested Kia of Lynchburg. I expressed my concern about being taken advantage of, but he assured me---it was a good dealership. He was right. I had gone online to make an appt. the night before. Tried this with another dealership the day before for a broken wheel bearing and they had NO appts. available til 5 days later. I found that hard to believe. Another example of having my chain yanked. But that was a different car issue that I had fixed elsewhere...I digress. It was 11pm, but made an online appt. for that morning at Kia of Lynchburg. That morning, I drove the 9.7 miles to the dealership. Christy Herald (service manager) welcomed me and got me in the garage immediately (upon seeing, hearing and feeling my HOT wheel). She and Joe Woods (service advisor) kept me comfortable (in a waiting room where I could work on paperwork), informed (about my car's status), entertained (every now and then with good conversation about the dealership, cars, service and more--never making me feel like I was interrupting their day whenever I wanted to chat), and shuttling me to the local food place across the street to let me get lunch. I met and was introduced to Chester Cook (FI/business manager) and learned all about Mike Schwartz (technician) and his experience in the Kia Technician's competition and how he won for his area of the USA. Very interesting to learn. I was there for several hours, but the time seemed to fly by with the excellent and personable personalities of ALL the employees I came in contact with. Excluding the dealership I purchased my car from in MI...but between about 15ish or more OTHER dealers I've encountered in: FL, OH, IN, VT, ME, MA, NM, IA, PA, TX, other part of VA, OK, NE, and other states I can't recall at this time....THIS dealership's service center is my all-time favorite one & all-time favorite dealership experience. I highly recommend the service and treatment you receive from this dealership. Outside of my own dealership, I can't say I've had a better time & overall experience at any other dealership than here!! I'm very glad I came here and got my frozen caliper fixed. I'm sorry that I can't recall who the mechanic was who worked on my car, but whomever it was--the job was done right and fast!
