Stay away. Called about a used bmw and spoke to a rep. I asked about features and condition of car. Sent me a video and said " real clean looking car no... dents or scratches at all." The price was too high and I said no. A few days later they call and he offered me a lower price. I told him I was 140 miles away so I need to nail down price before I drove down. He emails me the next day and we agreed on a price. I drove down to look at the car. 1. It had over 2000 miles more than advertised. 2. The car was dirty inside and out. It was clear the car was never detailed. 3. It had a ton of scratches and small pebble dents all over. 4. Price went up around $3000 more than we agreed. When I asked rep he said that was the best his manager would do and that he tried. Was so mad after driving over 2 hours that I stormed off. EVERYTHING THE REP TOLD ME WAS A LIE. They also do not take car of the cars they have probably hoping to save a few dollars. I will never go back and be wary of anything they tell you. Worst dealer I have seen so far......
Hello, We appreciate your feedback. This is very unusual and we almost never get complaints like this. I have used this review as an occasion to visit... extensively with the salesperson and the other manager. We never want to describe any used vehicle in a way that would mislead a client as none of them are ever without flaws and they should always be clean. Lying is never acceptable and will not be tolerated from any of our employees. We are so sorry that you had a bad experience and apologize. It is only with feedback from our customers that we can train and identify problems. So, thank you again for your time and input.
I am from the area and wanted to patronize a dealer from my home. They advertised a price online (and encouraged one to call to qualify for other incentives).... However, the GM “Woody” then increased the purchase price to “suck up” much of the rebates (which were never clearly indicated). Every step of the way, the closer I got to making a deal the more I realized the lack of transparency. I would suggest (by friends) the Springfield, IL dealer. Had I bought from Tim Leman (Bloomington BMW) I would have been so sorry and would have spent thousands unnecessarily. It was scary. I bought from a dealer in PA which was great!

We visited Sam Leman's BMW dealer all the way from Chicago to pick up a 2017 BMW 320ix. I have to admit, this has been the best car purchasing experience... I have ever had. I have purchased over 15 cars from different dealers, but this has been the best so far. Robert Lambert was extremely helpful and accommodating as we were on our way to st. Louis and he made sure everything was ready to go for us by the time we got there. Next time we are in the market for a new vehicle, I am definitely going to make the drive here.
I saw a used pickup for sale on car gurus, I ask for information and immediately Travis French contacted me, Travis was very helpful in my decision to... purchase the vehicle, he took videos of motor, inside vehicle,and underneath, because I live 200 miles from dealership. Thank you Travis! Every company could use employees like Travis, no pressure sales just friendly and very accommodating.
We recently purchased a lovely used Murano with the assistance of Greg Franklin. The service was great, and Greg was on top of follow up before and after... the sale. The dealership has a very nice selection of quality cars, both new and used. My only recommendation is that all warranty options be presented prior to showing up with money in hand. And fill up the tank ;) We wouldn't hesitate to return to this dealership!
I was a hundred miles from home and 200 miles from my starting point when my BMW blew a tire. It was a holiday and I was in the middle of nowhere with... all service closed. I called the BMW 800 number and thankfully they towed my car to BMW of Bloomington. I received a call Tuesday morning and learned I had to get new tires and they also performed the regular maintenance. I was concerned and surprised because my car had just been in my BMW service center for maintenance in July. I never thought once that my tires were bad. BMW 800 service got me a LIFT ride home, 110 miles with a wonderful BMW driver that told me Bloomington BMW was the best. I had no idea how I would get my car home. I asked Jeremy for ideas when he called me. When my car was complete with new tires, break service and who knows what else, Jeremy called me with a plan. Ed Jackson drove my car to my door over a 100 miles away followed by another driver who drove them both back to Bloomington. I don't know much about cars and I rely on my dealer and the service to guide me and keep me safe. I'm so grateful that my catastrophy happened near Bloomington. You haven't seen the last of me.
Bob Lambert and BMW of Bloomington were extremely easy to work with in our purchase of a used BMW X5. Bob answered all our many questions over the phone,... emailed many pictures and numerous documents, and most importantly described the vehicle honestly and accurately. The vehicle was prepared for our arrival from 2+ hours away, we test drove it, and then the transaction process was quick, easy and transparent with no "hidden" fees or pressure to purchase optional services or warranties although they were available.
I recently purchased an BMW x3 from BMW of Bloomington. I was very satisfied with the experience. Bruce Spencer was awesome, very professional and knowledgeable.... He was very patient and did an outstanding job helping me in my purchase. Overall the buying process was easy and actually quite enjoyable. Eric, Terry and Robert did an excellent job in helping me in my purchase.
