Longtime satisfied customer
Oct 2004 drove up from tennessee to get a low mileage 2001 ford f250 w 7.3 diesel 4x4....well let me tell you..amazing price, david in sales was awesome....and here we are 17 years later the truck is still in my fleet with 430,000 trouble free miles...we still use it often and I'd buy another from larry stigers in a second- 'merca
2014 Ford -450 truck.
Purchased ($29,000.00) 2014 F450 truck in January 2021 for my landscaping business. Drove 130 miles from dealer. Truck stopped on highway. Had it towed to repair shop; found out the engine had a cracked piston. ...total engine replacement ($15,000.00)! After several attempts the owner still would not return my calls. The dealership totally ignored the issue. This is a huge issue when a engine has a cracked piston...and the dealership won't stand behind their products. Buyers Beware
Drove 500 miles to see truck truck was better than they said bought truck in December 2020 have put 2000 miles on it with no problems it is a 2012 f250 service truck 6.7 diesel salesmen were great and honest
Believe the bad reviews!!!
Don't believe the pictures! I drove six hours one way to get this vehicle thinking it was in showroom condition because of the pictures. When I got there the truck was filthy inside and smelled like grease and oil. The salesman stated the owner won't let them clean or inspect the vehicles! Also when I looked over the vehicle it had six lights out, the controls for the winch we're missing ,the radio didn't work, the lines for the windshield wiper fluid was disconnected and laying on the engine and extra dents were found on the back of the truck. Also I could not get it into four-wheel drive. When I asked the salesman if they would take any money off the price he said no the price stands as it is! I went out and looked at some of the other vehicles and they were all dirty and nasty inside the same as this one was. the owner even States in their listing that it's up to you to inspect the vehicle before purchase because they sell it as is which means they do No inspections or cleaning at all! And there will be no price negotiations no matter what's wrong with the vehicle!! So know what you're getting into before you get there!!
absolutely stay away
RUN AWAY...DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT...TRUCKS ARE ABSOLUTY THE BEST LOOKING TRASH YOU CAN FIND...TRUCKS ARE GARBAGE MECHANICALLY
It is unfortunate that cars.com does not make individuals validate their name. We feel this is not a legitimate review.
My wife and I went to check out a 2008 Trail Blazer this morning. I had stopped by the day before and saw was told that it was Larry Stigers personal vehicle and he would be in today. I was warned that it needed some cleaning. My wife and I took it for a test drive and I had my check book in my pocket. The only thing that it needed was a serious cleaning. It was not dirty it was filthy. It was a farm truck for the owner. There was mud from the dog and mulch, I hope, in the back. Even so I was ok with that. I felt it could be cleaned up. We pulled in and I told the salesman that I was interested, and all I thought that it needed was a cleaning. He told me Larry was not going to clean it up. It was going to be sold as is. I thanked him and tried to leave... He pleaded with me to talk to Larry. I wish I had not. He explained that the cars are bringing more at auction... I said fine, but It is to filthy for me to buy. He said his truck, that would replace it was not ready and He was not going to do anything to it.... I could have lived with someone selling something as is. I do not need the vehicle. I have all summer to look for one like it. The problem was his rude unprofessional behavior. Did not look up from his computer. It is nice to know he is so successful that he does not need to demonstrate any level of courtesy. He may have fine vehicles. I cannot speak to that. I can just say that it takes more than a large inventory for me to consider parting with my cash.
Mr. Dan, if you would have taken time to talk to someone about Mr. Stigers you would have learned he has Tourette's disorder. He was not meaning to be rude to you, he simply has a disability.
Always has a truck to meet my needs!
I have been in the service Industry for 7 years and have relied upon Stigers Truck and Trailer to provide vehicles for my business. I have always had great results.
Thank you, we work hard for your business and will continue to. God Bless You!

Stay away from these guys
Drove 6 hours to buy a van. Was never told or read anywhere where it's "cash only" (no credit cards), so we did not have a checking book. The owner said we could take the van with us and he would keep the title until we sent him a check via UPS and then he would send after receiving the check vis UPS. Great! We had to put a new starter in it the next morning before leaving. We drove the van back home and sent him the check, as promised. However,we did not receive the title on the date, as promised. When I called about it I was told they had written address incorrectly on the package to us and we should go to the incorrect address and ask for tit in case UPS left it there. I explained this is a city and you can't exactly do that. The employee, another Larry) was useless on the phone suggesting I should not be upset and was irritated I displayed displeasure with the careless way they handled the return of the title to us. In fact, he got very rude and hung up on me leaving me to try and track down a piece of mail with the only title to a vehicle I purchased from them and had, by this point, put in a new starter, put 4 new tires to replace the balding ones on it, had the blend door fixed for the heat and A/C ($$$$), and a new security system. SO, now,the guy on the phone was upset because he thought I had attitude. YES! I DID have attitude because he was not willing to try and help (other than giving me the tracking number to handle myself). I had to make multiple calls and ended up driving an hour to the UPS station to retrieve it. Thankfully, UPS had not just left it in the person's mailbox at the wrong address. (which they sometimes do in the city) I guess mistakes can happen, BUT the employee should have been apologetic and tried to track it down himself when it was their error. Ultimately, we could have been out of a title for quite some time if it had been lost because the van was still registered to Stigers Larry Equipment Co. and they would have to request and pay for the duplicate title out of Kentucky. I'm not even sure if they would have gone to the trouble of ordering a duplicate title for us based on my phone call to them. Hence, we would had to hire a lawyer. So, for those reasons, I give this place ONE star; they really need to work on their customer relations.
1. I personally "let" this customer take the van back home on good faith, without payment, and we provided an overnight UPS package. If that isn't customer service I sure don't know what is? I really don't think it is our fault that this customer didn't call to check to see if we take credit cards. Last time I checked, most dealerships do not take credit cards. I dealt with this customer personally and approved him to take the van--if there was a problem with anything he knew I would take care of it. When he called the lot and got a rude salesman why didn't he ask for my cell phone? I give it to everyone, even in nationwide ads, it isn't a secret and that is because we do provide excellent customer service. We cannot correct a problem if we do not know about it and I didn't know anything about this until this poor review. 2. Customer was given a 60 day temporary tag to use, and the "lost" title was a UPS mistake. We were willing and did in fact contact UPS. It would have been re-routed per UPS (as he stated UPS does make mistakes)and corrected the next day. The customer chose to run it down, and still had 59 days to do so. A duplicate was never needed. 3. A new starter costs $39.99 at Advance Auto Parts, and takes 30 minutes to install. We were not notified of this. When asked for the receipt, the customer said he could not reproduce it..?? 4. New tires were apparent at purchase and averaged into the price. Security system was an owner choice as well. 5. The crux of this case was perhaps when we contacted the customer trying to resolve this matter and he said, "If you give me $500 I will take my poor review of you off Cars.com"... I tried to save this customer a 6 hour round trip back from Chicago and am getting scammed because of it. IF our van wasn't priced right, he wouldn't have made the trip in the first place. And we work this business 24-7 to help our customers. Everyone handles business differently, but I would have asked to speak to the owner in the beginning.
Don't buy here!!!!!
This place is a bunch of crooks! Paid asking price for a used work van. Bought the van no problem drove an hour home with no problems, stopped at the store on the way home and came out and the transmission went out while finishing my drive home. Called the deal who responded to me with , well you drove it off the lot,it's your problem now. I tried to reason with them and have them the chance to make it right however the staff and owner are rude and unwilling to work with there customers!! I would never buy a vehicle from them in 100 life times and would recommend you not buying from them either!!
We are unaware of who this is, and that there was ever a problem. Unsure who you spoke to, or if this is even a legitimate claim, since there is no name or contact information listed. If you did call the lot, you did not speak to the owner. Please call for a resolution.
