Our salesman, John Almiron and his staff from finance and other departments were excellent and they are bent over backwards for us to get us the perfect deal on a brand new Lease. And to top it off it was our Wedding anniversary so it worked out perfect. I would highly recommend your dealership to all my friends and family or anyone that's in search of a new vehicle.   • Awful Customer Experience with Finance Team

    and knowledgeable about the Mazda3 we were inquiring about . Tyler was the only redeeming quality about this place. I loved the sincere approach he took and really made me feel comfortable when I was working with him. After taking the vehicle out for a test drive, we returned to the dealership and went inside to run numbers with the finance team. Chris from finance was the person who took care of us from this point onward. From the beginning we had an issue, the vehicle is equipped with a number of add-ons that I had encountered as optional at other Mazda dealership, however this dealership did not have this option. The features were installed on the vehicle and could not be removed. I did not want any of these features and expressed this to him - I was not going to pay for something I did not want simply because the dealership had added these to all their vehicles. After expressing this sentiment to him, he went on to say that while he could not remove these add-ons, he could charge me the labor cost instead. He then quoted that number to be ~$1600. From then on he went on to quote me ~$400 and finally ended up at $0. I did not appreciate the fact that he knew that he could simply charge the at cost of ~$400 from the beginning and instead chose to play this game of back and ford with me, when I had insisted that I was not interested in these features. It was quite insulting knowing that for the past couple of hours he had lied to my face and thought he could take advantage of me by quoting me the ~$1600, when the cost could have initially been the laborcost of ~$400. Aside from these lies, working on the financing term and rate was also frustrating. At one point the numbers he provided had me paying ~$32,000 for this 2017 Mazda3 Hatchback Sport trim - which is utterly ridiculous when I know that a close friend financed his Touring Mazda3 Hatchback for ~$26,000 and the fact that no other dealership had quoted me this absurd amount was a red flag for me. Soon after receiving these numbers my boyfriend stepped outside to inquire with other dealers, but I stayed inside with Chris. While my boyfriend was outside, Chris grew insistently pushy and kept throwing numbers at me. At one point he was quoting me a 0.9% APR when just moments ago he had mention a ~5% APR. He was also insistent on wanting me to give him a specific monthly payment I was comfortable with , after various instances of me letting him know that I was not concern with the monthly payment - I wanted the OTD price, which he avoided speaking of at all cost. After some time of dealing with this, I did not trust anyone on the financing team. I had be lied to so many times regarding rate and pricing that I knew Chris was only focused on getting a sale and not my experience. My overall satisfaction with the service and vehicle itself was not a priority to Chris. I have no problem paying for premium if I am given good customer service, I understand that the dealership also has to make a profit and I was willing to work with that. I, however will not tolerate the attitude and pressure I received to make a deal (especially when my boyfriend was not by my side) simply because it would have gotten Chris a sale. By the end of everything I was extremely exhausted, frustrated, and disappointed by the ethical practices of this dealership. My experience was dismal at best and I will not recommend this place to anyone else.

    d and their vehicles. Even inside the dealership he was very friendly and made the dealership very welcome. I want to give him the credit he deserves and wish him the best! Unfortunately that is where the positivity ends with my experience at Puente Hills. Once Chris from financing began working the numbers, things eventually went sour. For instance, not interested in any of the ~$4000 in addendums (security system, seat spray, door film), what seemingly started as them working with us ended up with them trying to make up the profit in other areas. First he offered what he said was their "at-cost" rate of ~$1600. After we were still unsatisfied (since we simply didn't want it), he offered it for ~$400 (the actual at-cost), then eventually for free. At the same time, we were receiving offers for term limits and rates all over the place, all of which totalling to thousands more than quotes we've received from other dealers. Yet the number he kept trying to focus on was the monthly payment, regardless of the actual total price being financed. A calculator in my hand seemed to be his worst enemy. As I started calling him out on his discrepancies, he turned to try and hurry a deal by throwing out offers without clarification or explanation. Calling it "unfair" that we were considering other dealers as soon as we began realizing that his offers continued to be unagreeable. As expected, we ended up leaving. The service was so abysmal that there was no way we would consider giving Puente Hills Mazda our business or recommendation (again, we had only dealt with him and Tyler, and Tyler was cool.) A few hours later (just because of course all of the paperwork), we drove home from CardinaleWay in a new Mazda3 without having to tolerate a fraction of the BS and lies that we did at Puente Hills. All at a lower rate, lower term, and lower OTD price.
