    Took my car in to be service at Stivers Subaru, got there 20 minutes before my appointment. There was about 8 people there before me so i thought i would be there a long time. Less than an hour i was on my way home.

    Stivers Subaru was really great to us. Dustin Earnest knew every feature of this remarkable little car and helped us make the best choice for our needs.     Brian Traynor was great to work with. He was very quick to respond to my original e-mail inquiry. He found the exact car I wanted (even though I think he physically had to walk the lot to hunt it down). The whole process was very smooth, and took less than 24 hours from 1st inquiry to purchasing the car. The car was a surprise for my daughter and he volunteered to spend the time to sit down with her after the fact and go over all the features of the car. Great salesman. Great process from start to finish.

    It was a pleasure to work with Salesperson Brian Traynor. The agreed-upon price was in line with the Consumer Reports Build and Buy Car Buying Service. This was my first purchase of a new vehicle since 1996; my experience with Stivers Decatur Subaru was pretty much stress free. I would highly recommend Stivers Decatur Subaru and the Outback 3.6R Limited.

    First New Car Buying experience ever. Had done lots of homework, knew we wanted a Forester, and knew what they should cost. Emailed all the Subaru dealers in the area for pricing on a specific model. Brian Traynor at Stivers is the only rep who emailed back a specific price on a specific car. That's not the car we ultimately purchased - but that straightforwardness is what brought us in the door. Brian and everyone at the dealership worked well together to help us test drive, choose & finance the car we bought. Brian even went to another dealership to trade a car for the car in our first choice color.

    I never thought I'd use the service dept of a dealership vs finding my own independent mechanic, but Subarus are unique creatures and I feel like they require Subaru experts. I've been going to Stivers for work on my 1998 Subaru Forester for many years, and they have helped me keep my baby running; she's now at 265,000 miles. They are honest about how urgent (or non urgent) a repair is, and they always offer a discount coupon online for work. This past weekend, I called to find out what grade of Dexron I needed to top off my power steering fluid, and Nick, one of the service reps, told me to come on by and he'd top it for me. Now I can't promise he'll do this for you, but he was nice enough to do it at no charge! He was able to determine what was leaking, and the engine oil was leaking too, but he suggested that I just keep an eye on both and if it's slow enough, to just top them off when needed. He could've convinced me that these were urgent and expensive repairs, but he didn't, and I appreciate that.

    During June 2014, I travelled from Athens, GA to Stivers Subaru in Decatur to see the new 2015 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited. Although it was after their regular hours, Brian Traynor came out to great us and offered to answer any questions we might have about the vehicle. He was very informative, pleasant, and friendly. I told him I really liked the new changes to the vehicle, but that it was my first time seeing it in person and I wanted to take a few months to research and compare different options to make sure my final selection fit all of our needs. Brian Traynor understood and never pressured us! Last month, April 2015, I contacted Brian and told him I had made a decision and was ready to purchase the Outback. He made the entire purchase experience very easy and pleasant! He went above and beyond what most do to make sure we were happy! We think the vehicle is fantastic and we were so happy with the experience that we will be buying a second vehicle from Stivers Subaru in a few months! Thank you for the great customer service!!!

    My only experience with this dealership so far has been with the salesman, Brian Traynor. He was very professional during every part of the purchasing process, and answered my questions completely. Brian is extremely knowledgable on the Outback, which is the car I bought. I originally decided to buy an Outback after attending the auto show downtown. I next contacted the various dealerships in the Atlanta area on-line, and saw that the prices on the model I wanted were very similar. I decided to purchase my car through Stivers Subaru because of the professionalism of Brian Traynor..

    The buying experience from this dealership was pretty average. I've definitely had worse, but I've definitely had better. The only reason I considered Stivers was because they had the car that I wanted, and they had the right price. If I had any other choice, I probably would not have purchased from Stivers. I'm a fairly humble dresser, but I take care of myself and my appearance is "average". I'm in my late 20's and I'm a male; the folks at this dealership hardly took me seriously when I wanted to buy the most expensive car they had. I even overheard one of the management people laughing when they learned what I was interested in buying. Guess what? Joke's on you, buddy. Just because your customer isn't wearing a $2K suit doesn't mean they can't afford what they're asking for. There was also an incident where an older, rather rotund gentleman with white hair simply walked away in the middle of a conversation we were having. I don't know if he's mentally ill, but it was very disrespectful. The real reason I wouldn't recommend this dealership is because of how they treated me AFTER I bought the car. I brought the car back about a month later to have some major (non-warranty) work done. They acted as if I was an inconvenience. In particular, the woman running the service desk was completely obnoxious. She repeatedly talked over me, and when I finally got a chance to speak, I had to repeat myself several times because what I said went in one ear and out the other. There was really only one person that seemed like a genuinely nice person; I cannot for the life of me remember his name. I do know he was one of the sales managers. I am glad he at least respected me and treated me with dignity. Honestly, if you're going to do business, you need to remain professional regardless of who your customers are. If your customers are respectful and kind to you, then you should return the gesture. There is no reason to be rude to someone simply because you don't want to do your job, or because of whatever misgivings you have about someone based on their age or possibly their appearance.
