Expect an added $6000 of “accessories” to the sale price of the vehicle. This included a market adjustment of $3500-$4000. Was told they can’t advertise their market adjustments like other dealers do. Also, “Hometown promise” (2 free oil changes, resist-all interior protection, exterior paint protection, free state inspection) was not negotiable (even though I was being charged for these up front, it was portrayed as “free” benefits. When the first sheet of paper was brought over with prices, an extended warranty was included in the sales price. No sign of that anywhere on the paper and had I not questioned it, no one would’ve told me. A $32000 car (Honda Accord) turned into $45000. Granted, $4000 was negative equity, however they could not understand why I was confused where the additional charges came from in the sale price. Tax, tag, doc fee totaled roughly $1100. Came back a second time from speaking to a manager and acted like I should’ve been thankful that they “took $1000 off the accessories.” No thanks. Asked for the GM. He had “just stepped out.” I thanked them for their time, and left.


Dissatisfied and Disappointed

I will never shop at this dealership again! I bought a 2019 Chevrolet Suburban from Honda of RR in 2020. When gas prices increased I panicked. I traded in my Suburban for a 22 Honda Civic. As soon as I left the dealership I knew I had made a terrible mistake. I contacted my salesman the very next day. He told me to come to the dealership on Monday so I did. The General manager wouldn’t let me get my suburban back unless I traded in my car and financed $30,000. I feel like with the short time they should have given me back my suburban. I will never ever be able to afford another truck like that. I grieve every day over my mistake.


Recently I traded my 2019 Chevrolet Suburban for a 2022

Recently I traded my 2019 Chevrolet Suburban for a 2022 Honda Civic. As soon as I pulled off the lot I knew I had made a horrible mistake. The next day I texted my salesman and told him I would like my truck back and the following day I went back to the dealership to see if I could get my truck back. Of course the price had been jacked up higher than what I paid for my truck. The manager acted like he didn’t want to talk to me and wasn’t going to budge a bit. I have been in contact with my salesman who is awesome . However the manager has failed to contact me. Poor business in my opinion. It’s all about the almighty dollar and no compassion for the customer. If I can’t get my truck back I will no longer shop at this establishment!


Buyer beware!

I recently traveled from Richmond, VA to this dealer to consider purchasing a used car which I located online. The test drive went very well….that was the last thing which went well. The car listed for $41,540. By the time it was written up, the price tag was over $49,000. Buyer beware!

Tried to play me

They would not stop trying to get me to finance through them instead of through my own bank and tried to get me to put money down to hold the vehicle before providing a written total. Then they added a $1200 extended warranty to the total that was not asked for or discussed (the vehicle I was looking at was still under manufacturer's warranty). Disappointing experience and more than happy that I shopped elsewhere.


Worst experience I’ve ever had

The sales manager was a complete jerk and talked to me and my father like we were dumb. Also waited for 13 hours for nothing


Service department is BAD

I took my car to the dealership because I wanted the valves adjusted by someone who would do it right. I paid almost twice as much as the independent garage wanted for the job and drove 45 minutes to the dealer. It took three phone calls to make an appointment because the service writer could not give me a price. She said the service manager would call me when he got back from lunch. He never called the first two days. My car now makes a tapping noise and has a miss when cold. The shop foreman kept saying it was the fuel injectors. Funny those injectors were not tapping when I brought it in for a maintenance procedure. They also put the old gaskets back on the valve cover and intake. They said there was nothing they could do without the manager who was not there. I can’t get the manager on the phone. $300 to have a miss and a loud tapping! They will never touch another of my cars.


Excellent service and friendly staff

Excellent service along with a knowledgeable friendly staff. Rachel and Joel are incredible sales people and their attention to detail and providing the customer with first class service is truly what sets this dealership apart. I would highly recommend Honda of Roanoke Rapids to anyone looking for a truly easy and professional buying experience. Thank You to everyone the helped get into my awesome Ridgeline!


Antwan is the best!

Antwan always takes care of me. He checks everything out and gets back with me to discuss anything my vehicle needs. I trust him completely. The do great service work and in a very timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone. Their sales staff is great too. especially Joel Scott. He and Antwan will go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied.
