Wanted to buy, willing to pay full price. but they were slow to respond, then increased Price by $5000. I'm Calling BBB. Never had this issue with other... Dealers.
Saw a price online. Called the dealership. They add 1,500 as they call a reconditioning fee. No where in their advertisement is this mentioned that charge.
This was my first car purchase and I couldn't be happier with my car! Cate was a joy to work with and she really made sure I was comfortable. She answered... all of my questions (and there were a lot of them) in an honest and helpful way. I never felt pressured and I felt everyone went above and beyond to make sure I got what I wanted. I work in the Auto industry and I would highly recommend Cate at P.M. Stanley to friends, family, or anyone looking for an honest deal!
This was the most hassle free buying experience I have ever had. No pressure sales or extended warranty. Hope to buy my next car there.
When I bought my car Brad was my salesman and when ever I called are texted him he would always call are texted back when I had a question about the car,... even on his off day he called back. On the day I got my car he connected my phone to my car that was something I didn't no how to do. You need a car go to PM Standley and talk to Brad
Car pricing shows up as low pricing on cars.com only to find out this PM Standley loads hidden prep fee of $1500 on top when you show up. This is complete... bait and switch and proves that Cars.com is being paid by dealers without customer interest in mind.
I originally found the car I wanted online through I believe TrueCar.com. From there, I was contacted by Brad Fales. This was by far the best interaction... I've had with a car dealership and a car salesman. We did most of our correspondence via email and texts due to being in another state, COV-19 and my work schedule. Brad was perfect, not pushy, but informative to my every question. He made this process seamless. So much so, that I drove from Oklahoma City down to Carrollton Texas to finalize and pick up my new car. I love it!! Thank you again Brad for being a great salesman. I recommend PM Standley, but most of all, I recommend Brad Fales as your car salesman.
Overall happy with the entire process buying my vehicle from them. Honest and very kind! Will definitely be back for any future purchases! Thank you Brad... and Lance!
went straight to get the car I wanted, after weeks of internet research and price comps in the DFW area. Once I got there, the sales rep was really friendly... and corteous, but not knowledgeable about the car. Still and while I was ready to start the paperwork to complete the purchase; I was told there is a $1700 dealership fee for vehicle reaconditioning and other costs while in reality this seems more like an effort to lowball other dealers and then try to get you to buy once in there. At least the guy was honest and upfront, but I decided to go somewhere else and ended up buying my car the same day at a different place. They not only lost a sale but potentially a loyal customer since they also offer maintenance services.
The SUV we wanted was listed at $33,000. Went in and they told us that we would have to add $4500 extra because they added that much to the car. They... said that you have to look at the fine print in the description where it says they added $4500. (how are we supposed to know that??) However it is misleading as it could mean that is included into the price already. Basically whatever they have listed, add an extra $5000 and that will be your price. On top of that, you cannot use your own lender, you have to use their pre approved lender. I dont understand this because they are getting their money regardless unless they have a backdoor deal with these "lenders".
