My spouse and I drove from the Medford area to purchase a new truck. We shopped around and found the truck we wanted for the price we wanted at Mark Thomas. All the staff are great. They went well out of the way to get us the truck we wanted. We will not shop anywhere else in the future.

Worst customer service experience I have ever had!!! Mark Tomas Motors repair shop has terrible, TERRIBLE customer service. First, they had my vehicle for nearly two weeks...the job could have been done within 2 days, at half the cost by the professionals at Six States in Salem, where I've taken other vehicles for the same issue in the past. I thought this time around I would stay local and support a business in my town.... man did that bite me in the butt! After a week or so without my vehicle, Mark Tomas Motors was kind enough to lend me a vehicle to drive to work- one that's tags expired 10 months prior and was past due for its check up, stated the Mark Tomas Service sticker on the windshield. (I found all this out after driving it home) The vehicle had over 100,000 on it and made concerning sounds when it shifted. When I confronted Mark Tomas Motors about the expired tags they became very defensive and said that they had bent over backwards to get me the loaner vehicle. When I told them I was not able to drive it back to their shop because it was illegal for me to drive, the manager blew up and started yelling at me. When they finally finished fixing my vehicle, I had a family member drive me to Mark Tomas Motors to pick up my vehicle and pay for the repair, while a couple of their employees went to pick up the loaner vehicle which was illegal to drive with expired tags, which was located at my house. When I got to the shop I expressed to the manager that I didn't appreciate him yelling at me when he spoke to me earlier on the phone. He got defensive and said that he didn't yell. When my family member confronted him and expressed that she heard him yelling at me, he lost it and began arguing with her. While this was going on, I continued handing him my credit card and asking him if I could please pay for the service and have my key back, but he wouldn't let me pay for the repair or give me my key. Instead he had another employee call the police and tell them that I wouldn't pay. While we waited for the police, a different employee pulled the manager aside and spoke with him. They came back to the front and the manager finally let me pay. When the police arrived I informed them of what had happened. The officer said I could go ahead and leave, then he went in to talk with Mark Tomas Motors. Oh, I left out the part where Mark Tomas Motors quoted me one price for the repair and then wanted to charge me more in the end, which we never discussed. They said it was their fault for miss quoting me, I said "exactly, therefore you guys need to honor your quoted price. It's part of customer service." They went round and round with me and finally agreed to only charge me what they initially quoted me. I still can't believe that all this happened, it was so ridiculous and such a nightmare! I will NEVER go back to Mark Tomas Motors for anything!!!

We Really Enjoyed Purchasing Our GMC Acadia from MTM in downtown Albany. The Staff is Fast But Didn't Make Us Feel Rushed. Very Effecient & Knowledgeable About the Vehicles. They Work as a Team with a Relaxed "No Pressure Vibe". The BEST Part was the Financing Process: from Start to Finish was less then 30 minutes. This Team Is the Only Place To Shop & Buy. An "Incredible Experience"

We came to the downtown Albany dealership to check out a truck that we had in mind. Never did we expect that we would have the unusual and wonderful experience we've ever had. We found the exact truck we had "designed," and we were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and total lack of pressure from the staff. They were accommodating from the time they handed the keys over for a test drive to listening to, and answering, our questions without putting pressure on to buy. We decided on the GMC Sierra; and, again, the staff worked to arrange financing, to give a very fair trade-in, and to get us rolling as very happy customers. Again, we've never had such a wonderful car buying experience; and we recommend Mark Thomas without reservation.

Monday, September 16, 2013, approximately 9:30 a.m. We had not received a phone call and therefore we decided to go directly to the dealership and speak with someone. We spoke to the finance manager again, and he eventually called Ryan Thomas, the son of the owner. After Ryan Thomas introduced himself to us, he immediately indicated and eluded to the fact that upon returning to work Sunday, he was informed that someone had to be “run off” for scaring away business at the mall sale Saturday, that he could hear all of the different stories of what happened, and that he was sure that everyone would be lying to some degree. I felt as though he did not even care to hear our side of the story. At this point, I calmly began stating the above aforementioned incidents. After I did so, he did not seem concerned by the actions of his employees. He offered a verbal apology, said that he would look into it, and we should all just move on from this. Is this the way that MTM runs their business? To have not one but two employees act in such an appalling, rude and disgusting manner. My family has never been treated with such disrespect in our lives. For my son to witness and hear it all is unacceptable. I will never buy anything from MTM. I feel that my family has been wronged, disrespected, humiliated, emotionally and verbally violated and treated with absolute disregard. To just be given a verbal apology and be told that things should just go on from there by Ryan Thomas is absolutely disheartening. Melissa Goodwin/Tony Lewis
