After purchasing a new vehicle from Southern, I went in on a Saturday for the first of their "free" oil changes. I didn't make an appointment, so I did... have to leave it for later pick-up. However, when I picked it up, it was brought out expeditiously and the keys were handed to me with a simple "You're ready to go." No hassle, no hidden charges.... good experience.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but the exact way that I'm stating my fellings as the experience presented itself to me. I just recently 3-4 days... ago, went to Southern Buick because while driving, my change engine oil message popped up on my screen. I immediately rushed to Southern approximately 2:30 PM. I told Carlos what was going on, and he so kindly said okay we can do it now, which was change my oil/filter as Southern Hospitality. I thought great, I don't have to pay a dime because I'm a member. While waiting Carlos approached me and said that this paper he's holding stated that I needed a brake-line flush $100-$110 dollars. He stated that by now, with my miles at 33K, I should've already had two. He said it was about safety, so I told him to go ahead and do it since they had my car. After paying for the work when completed, I went to Carlos's office and asked him, why didn't anybody tell me this before when they had my car previous times? This is my meaning of feeling snow-balled!!! I came in with paying nothing as a benefit, and left out with less money in my wallet! Why didn't the so called responsible person not suggest that flush prior, when they had access to my car many times earlier? You guys are great, but I always speak the truth! I wasn't so happy. took all day, why does it take six hours to buy a car? and and why must the deal be made that day? The bsey purchase I ever had, the salesman said take... for the weekend, I dove it from the dealer in Portsmouth to my home in hampton, parked the car , called the salesman and purchased the car that night. Best memory!! funny it was a Buick Lasable HUH! I do like my Sportage, TOOOOOOO long closing deal.

Great experience. They listened to what I wanted. Fred was really helpful in finding what I was looking for. On top of the fact that I got a new car... under 8,700 under the original msrp, makes one a happy camper. Again we had a great experience at Southern Buick/GMC.
