Deceitful or Ignorant?
Driving from Michigan (the lower peninsula) to this dealership is not a quick trip. As such, I had asked the sales person to look over the vehicle for me in regards to dents, scratches, rust, etc. Essentially any blemishes to the body that could be concerning to a buyer looking for a clean vehicle. The sales person expressed that they had looked over the vehicle and the only blemish was a few scratches on the back end that they could buff out prior to my arrival. It sounded like a done deal. My wife and I proceeded to be on the road by 6:30 AM to make it to Chrysler World before they closed. After a 7 hrs trip, we finally made it. Upon entering the parking lot, I noticed the vehicle as it was the only one like it in a 150 mi radius (hence why we drove from Michigan). This is where my disappointment begins..... The sales person came out to greet us after noticing we were standing by the vehicle. I started looking over the vehicle, and as I got to the back side, I noticed a scratch about 4 inches long and 1/8 inch deep (not something you can "buff out"). Once I got to the front of the vehicle, that's where I found the biggest issue. The entire front bumper was caked with pitting/deformities in the clear coat/paint. When I brought this up to the sales person, the exact one whom told me they looked over the vehicle so I could have peace of mind before making the trip, they replied with "Oh that's just from bugs. Unfortunately we couldn't get those out." Maybe Wisconsin has the most dense bugs on the planet, but this was severe. I drove my last vehicle for 8 years and hit thousands of bugs, and never did it cause this sort of blemish to the body. I had seen enough at that point and said "With that front end, I can't go through with a transaction on this vehicle." To which the sales person says "Yeah there's nothing I can do about that." We shook hands and I went on my way. 10 minutes later while I'm down the road en route to a different dealer (because I just drove 7 hrs so I might as well) I get a text "Hey if we knock off X amount of the price will you reconsider?" Let me just say that X amount would be no where close to getting this taken care of, and that should have been offered on sight, not when I'm 10 minutes down the road. I would also assume that a good sales person would have a back-up vehicle to show a displeased customer? Especially one driving such distance? In conclusion, the sales person either A. Purposely withheld the information on the true appearance of the body and assumed I would buy the vehicle no matter what (after such a drive). B. Did not bother to look at the vehicle and lied saying they had. Either scenario is equally disturbing and I am shocked my time was not more respected for someone who is about to drop 20k + on a vehicle.
Deal was seamless
Crown was honest and up front with everything, and turned the deal around quickly, even though I am from out of state. I've bought cars remotely before, but this was seamless. Sam Ledford our salesperson was great, and I would buy from her again. Her honesty was appreciated. The transaction went smoother than the dealerships we were dealing with locally in Chicago, Illinois, with no gimmicks to get you in the door, or added/increased prices as "Market Adjustments".
Easy to work with
I bought a Jeep Gladiator, I worked with Bo. No was knowledgeable and responsive. I had the deal all worked out so when I arrived at the dealership it was quick and easy.

I met one of the best cars salesman’s out there named Chris! He helped me as best he could and answered all my questions—he was honest and didn’t hide anything. We almost had a deal but I backed out for financial reasons. If it wasn’t for those reasons, I would have bought the car. Highly recommend this dealership and Chris.

Replacing my car
I was looking to replace a 15 year old vehicle and came back to Crown, as we had a good experience a couple of months earlier replacing an older van. I found a great used car with low mileage at a price that I was able to fit into my budget. I enjoyed working with Sam again as she wanted to be sure I was comfortable with my purchase. Enjoying the new ride very much.

I pulled in no one acknowledged me, they just kept staring at me. After 3 minutes someone came to help. I advised i was called to set an appointment for a part that had come in. I advised her i was told i had already paid for by the receptionist. Of which i didnt know i still needed work done.. Last night i decided to look at my paperwork from my last visit it has on there three or four things that need to be done to my car, it stated that i denied service for everyone listed .. First of all i was never even told these things needed to be done which look pretty serious flushes of transmission etc... So i guess my spirit stayed behind and told them no thank you to services needed unknown to me... Well anyhow the young lady said she would check on it,so one of the guys comes in and ask me why was i here. That they had put the part on already. And they didnt know why someone called me last thurs or fri to schedule this appt.. So now im waiting while this guy checks to see why they called me and set an appt. Because the part was put in already a week or two ago.... There is a real lack of effective communucation within their service.ok im tired of waiting for him to find an answer im leaving
Crown Jeep - Holland
I had slowly been looking for a 4 door Jeep Wrangler. The first dealership didn't answer my emails or respond to a voicemail. On a Saturday, we went in & met Ben Lindemulder. Test drove what I thought I wanted but what they had in stock is not what I wanted. He started looking right away. After getting home, my husband had a few changes to our list, Ben took it in stride. I went the next Saturday and Ben & I worked through options for getting a car in. He had it on Monday and I picked it up. The only wrinkle in that process was the other dealership put them off until late afternoon, and it was a drive for them to go get the jeep. Because it was late, even though it was not their fault, they came up with a plan to take care of me for the late delivery. The staff stayed late to get it ready, and do the paperwork. No grumbling about doing that. After getting it home, I found a little issue, and they were not obligated to take care of the, but they had me bring it back in. I've never had a dealership that works so hard to keep you happy.

After a not so great experience at another dealership, we were pleasantly surprised by the down to earth, no pressure approach we received while working with Bo Moore. We were very specific on what features we were looking for in a Jeep and he took the time to track down a perfect match for us! I would recommend Bo AND Crown Motors to friends and family--and already have!
