They have $2700 in fees not on the list price of their vehicles. Gross. Just list the actual price you sleezy cowards.
Dealer very nice, as that's what he's experienced in. The internet price goes up $1995 and then another $695 but you wouldn't know that unless you read... the fine print. They offer next to nothing for trade ins, and waisted so much of my time giving me the run around. Typical crooked car dealer.
Atlantic Volkswagan is the best Dealership on Long Island. If you're looking for a lease or to finance a vehicle this is the only place that makes deals... happen Their general managers and sales team are hands-down the best I rate the Dealership five stars out of five outstanding service commitment
July 2019 I went there looking for a used vehicle that was advertised on Cars.com as well as advertised on dealers own website. The salesman that greeted... me was very nice and personable I have nothing negative to say about him. Once I test drove the vehicle and fell in love with it I sat down to go over the numbers. First they lowballed my trade-in below any other dealers offer that I previously received. Then the salesman seemed genuinely remorseful when he had to break the news to me that the listed price was less $1995 down a $695 dealer fee . Which they said was stated on their website (it was not) . After offering to split the difference of approx $2700 extra that was tacked on , the sales manager was consulted. He came out of his hole like the groundhog and very brashly stated or more like shouted that the price is non negotiable .. he then returned back to his hole . The vehicle has been for sale on their lot for 4 months , you would think they would want to make a deal. I still probably would have bought the vehicle if they would have negotiated in good faith and dropped a few hundred , but the sales manager is a Napoleanic Idiot and would probably not find a job anywhere else but a shady car dealership . Thanks to him the car is still for sale on their lot to this day (late Sept) . Unfortunately I do not remember The sales manager’s name otherwise I would have named him in this review . Before leaving I Voiced my opinion to the salesman and let him know that I will take my $40k to another dealer somewhere else.
Went to check out a car here. The salesman was nice. Took the car for a test drive and decided it was the one for me. When it came time to discuss pricing,... I was informed that the price of the car was $2000 more than listed here on Cars.com. When they say that the price is with $1995 down, they mean that the price listed is the remainder of what the car costs. The $1995 does not go towards the price listed, but is in addition too. Shady wording. Decided to stay away from the Atlantic car group.
Rissa, We are upset to read that you felt pricing wasn't clear in our ad. Customer service and transparency are very important to us. We make sure tha...t all details are listed so that no customers feel misled by our advertising. We wish you luck in your car buying endeavor.
Great and super easy to deal with, great experience would recommend to work with my salesperson Jordi. Made it easy and a pleasant purchase. will recommend... to all my friends.
Thank you for leaving this phenomenal feedback for Jordi! We truly appreciate the kind words and want to congratulate you on your new vehicle!
The manager is such a creep who doesn’t care about customers! Instead it’s all about the mighty dollar. It’s very sad that people like this exist on the... world. I was sold a car with 4 accidents on its Carfax and was not told this when looking at the car. By law the dealership had to give me my money back because there was structural damage to the car. Instead of accepting their screw up and doing the right thing Paul Hart instead dragged it through the mud and gave me the worst time, even telling me there was no structural damage to the car when it was in black and white on the Carfax. I finally got my money back and bought myself a Mazda. It’s great! Volkswagens are horrible cars anyway. If you want to keep yourself financially healthy stay away from VW! I’ve been driving them for years and I’ve had nothing but horrible experiences!
This review is terribly upsetting to us, but I'm not sure which element is the most upsetting, so I'll address both. We are under new management and P...aul Hart is no longer an Atlantic VW employee. I know you would have a completely different experience with the GM, Mike Chase, so I would encourage you to give us another try, but that takes me to your sentiment about VW overall. If you research the brand and quality ratings, you'll find that your experience was outside of the norm. We take great pride in the brand and if you ever decide to give VW another try, we're here for you.
We had a terrible experience at Atlantic VW . I was told they would wave the fees on the car if I was interested in taking the car that week. I called... the salesman 2 days latter told him I would be in on saturday ...when I arrived ready to purchase we where told the sales manager would not honor the previously negotiated price . Watch out for FEES !!! I also was very unhappy with the fact that they held on to my CC in the back room for the entire time I was there ..... at least 2 hours . NOT a Good Policy . The salesman however was somewhat nice but the sales manager was not.
I would like to thank all the people that assisted me in my vehicle. They were very kind and patient throughout the process. Mr. Reuben who wrote up the... transaction. Michael who had the final say and made it happen and Liliana who did the paper work. Thank you very much you are a great bunch of people. God bless you all.
I walked into Volkswagen to see what resale cars they had. I was in the market for a used car for my son (his first car), and wanted to buy a safe car... for him, but not brand new. I was lucky enough to find they had a 2013 Tiguan for sale, that had just come off a 3 year lease, with just over 37,000 miles. I myself have a 2013 Toureg that I am very happy with. I met with a salesman named Rueben, and from the start, he was polite, attentive, and knowledgable about this Tiguan. I took it for a test drive and sat down to discuss price. I didn't have too much time, so I ended up going back the next day. I also met with Rob Hoffman, who is a new manager running the store for the last couple of months. Long story short, I bought the car! It was a pleasure to deal with both Rob, and Rueben and I am considering going back to get another car when my current Toureg lease is up! :)
