    Make no mistake about it, this is a gem in south Louisiana. We have purchased several vehicles from Bay City Ford and the Fortier family over the years, and have never had a problem. My husband and I don't like back and forth games when it comes to purchasing a vehicle. At Bay City, you will sit face to face with Chad or Vann Fortier when you purchase a car. It is a great experience. We have also received great service and have no complaints. We are usually in and out any time we need it. Simple. Buying and Servicing a vehicle should not be a scary headache. With these folks, it isn't.

    An oil chance on an F-150 is more than the service department can handle. The " free" oil changes for purchasing a new vehicle will cost you. They did not change the oil filter, and did not replace the air dam under the truck. I marked the oil filter both times the oil was changed and the same filter was on the truck when they finished. The first time, they replaced the oil filter when I showed them where I had marked it, no problem. The second time, they claimed that I marked it after the filter was replaced. The air dam was missing after the second oil change. The owner claimed that I must have removed the air dam. I will never walk through the dealership door again. The "free" oil changes are not free. It will cost you time, money, and lots of aggravation.

    It is unfortunate that this individual is doing everything he can to make a local business look bad. We fired the first employee on his word when he showed us the oil filter. This time around this customer "claims" he marked the filter with his pocket knife. Upon inspecting the filter, we found that it did not match the serial batch in our service department. We still changed the filter, but I will not fire another employee over allegations that the evidence does not support. It is unfortunate, because I am friends with this individuals family. I do not know what he is going through right now, but I wish him well. Sorry he wants so badly to hurt a local business. On another note, we are a family owned business that follows Christian principals. We do screw up, but never deliberately.

    I bought a 2007 avalanche from Bay City that had high miles. I had a few issues with the thermostat two weeks later, and was willing to pay for it, but they fixed it free of charge. I will purchase from Bay City the rest of my life. These are good people. Thanks Scott and Chad.

    If you want real product knowledge, go to Bay City and see Bryant Hebert. He truly likes what he does and knows the product. I had spoken to a salesman at another dealership and was pressured and lied to about an engine I did not want. Bryant gave me a presentation, then had all the information present. The sale was a no brainer. I'm a busy person. I don't have time for games and gimmicks. I recommend Bay City Ford in Abbeville.

    I have a problem with the alignment of the drivers side door. It seems this would be a simple adjustment. When I brought it to the dealer I was sent to their body shop. The first words out of the body shop manager was, "you didn't buy a Lamborghini". He stated that the cars are mass produced and he didn't know how to fix it. I have made no less than 10 phone calls to the dealership to speak to a manager and left multiple messages. I have not received a return call from anyone. With the experience I have had with these people, I wouldn't trust them with telling me the air pressure in the tires is correct. If I could return the car and buy somewhere else I would.

    I was recommended to see Mike for my diesel issue. Two other dealerships could not solve the problem. I spoke to Josh (the service manager) in the service department and he was really receptive to my needs. He was actually in diesel repair before becoming manager. ANyway, the other dealerships in the area gave me bad information and were unable to solve my issues. Mike and Josh were very clear and made me feel comfortable. This place is great. These guys are first class, and they will fix your diesel truck. The building is old, but I did not feel it was right to lower their score by pointing it out. They are simply old school!!

    I wanted the Mustang and Bryant Hebert convinced me that the ecoboost engine was the way to go. Love my Mustang, Love Bay City and would recommend Bryant as a Sales representative. He was very knowledgeable. Go see these folks. They are what I call "country" . They talk straight, don't play funny games, and do their best to meet your needs.

    The Ford escape that I bought from Bay City in Abbeville is awesome. Bryant Hebert really listened to my needs and recommended my vehicle. It was an easy process, no pressure. Bryant showed me all the features, then told me to drive the car alone, to be fair. I got the notes I wanted and am very impressed with these friendly people. Give them a shot if you want a ford. I Love Love Love my escape.
