Initially I went looked for a used car at the Olathe Ford outlet location. We were greeted by Chaz Broome, on of the used lot salesman. He was friendly,... easy to talk with and had tons of energy. He was eager to help me test drive the vehicle I was interested in and we decided to move forward. This was on a Thursday evening. He went through the entire process and remained as friendly as he did when we came in. He transported us to the main building to meet with the financial department. Not much could be done this evening because it was near closing time. We made plans for me to return the following afternoon to discuss payments, APR, etc. They even let me take the vehicle home for the night. The following day, Friday, I returned around 4:30 pm after I got off work. I was told to meet Chaz at the outlet and we would drive together to the main building to discuss what the financial aspects would be. Disappointingly, the deal was not going to work for me. The financial advisor was beyond understanding and did not bat an eye when I told him why it would not work. We had to contact Chaz to come back because he had taken the vehicle to begin removing all stickers, transferring plates, etc. I could immediately sense a change in personality when I told Chaz what was going on during our phone conversation. He made several comments to me and I mentioned to the advisor that he was mad, who in return said "Oh no, Chaz doesn't get mad at anything". Well, needless to say, Chaz returned to the main building where he entered the office with myself and the advisor. He began stating how he was confused, how I could I have come in wanting $XX payment even though I was looking at an SUV, that he went over all of this with me, etc. Which none of this was the case. Him and I had not discussed what a payment would be because we did not know the terms of the loan and he had not asked where I wanted to be payment wise. I have a great trade in and the make of the vehicle did not effect this. I apologized and complimented how much I had enjoyed working with them and want to continue my search. Chaz wanted none of it, proceeding to tell me, in layman terms, that I was an idiot and had no business looking at this vehicle. He said he was supposed to be on vacation and that he came in just to deal with me, which I said I appreciated and if he needed to leave he by all means could. He refused and instead rushed me out the door to my vehicle to drive us back to the outlet. While we were on our way, he made condescending comments such as "Well, I guess I'm just not getting compensated for this", "You're the FIRST person in 25 years that I have brought over year that hasn't signed a deal" and "Had I known you would do this I would have never brought you over here". To say I was dumbfounded was an understatement. I have never been so disrespected by a "professional" in my life and to have no disregard for professionalism is baffling. I asked if he was missing a flight he said "No, I dont fly out until tomorrow". We returned to the outlet and I could not wait to leave because I felt threatened by his attitude and his tone with me. But I had a few items in the used vehicle. He brought me a few out without asking what I had in there and I mentioned I still had a few things on the visor. He had me follow him to the lot, opened the door and grabbed the item. I said, "Does it look like there is anything else" and he said "Look yourself". He then proceeded to leave me standing in the used lot. I made it back to my vehicle and could see him clearly through the glass of the offices and could see him huffing and puffing while mouthing profanities. I am astonished and slightly fearful at the sudden change of character of this individual and will never recommend or do business with this location again.
I asked for Bill Sims in the store because he sent e text message before. Terrible mistake. He was very rude. I explained him my situation, I just needed... to know how much money I needed to put down as a down payment to purchase a vehicle. My Financial situation will improve in a few weeks. He just told me, "come back when you have money. Right now I am not gonna do anything for you". He forgets that anybody could be a potential customer, and that customer could feed him. I did not ask for a free vehicle. I am going to pay. He is not doing me any favor, I have options.
I was looking around for a good used car while attending school in the area. Jason Beers sold me a great car for a great price. The process was simple... and quick. I did not feel pressured, and it was hassle free. I definitely recommend Jason and Olathe Ford for an excellent car buying experience.
I was looking for a car and contacted the dealership through Cars.com. I emailed them and received quite a few emails in return. Everyone was very nice,... but it was a lot. There was one woman that I can't remember her title, a salesperson, and a sales manager that I can remember. Like I say - very nice, but a lot.
Very Friendly staff! They are willing to deal (within reason) on their used cars. Went to look at a car that was a little out of my price range and ended... up liking it so I told them how much I could spend and they made sure it fell into the range I gave.

We walked in and were greeted by Ms. Carol Sinning. We explained what we were considering, price range, size, MPG, & features. She went through her list... and offered us 10 vehicles in addition to the internet listing we came to see. We looked at all of them, and test drove several. When we came back she mentioned one additional car she thought might interest us. We tried it and liked it. We we debating about 2 different vehicles, when Ms. Sinning mentioned 2 repairs she noticed needed to be made on one vehicle. I had noticed one, but not the other. We purchased the car, pending the two repairs being made. That is the kind of honesty which will bring me back to see Ms Sinning and Olathe Ford again in the future. .. and not just for my vehicles, but for family and friends too.
I spent all day looking for a good used car and at a price. I was very pleased with the price and the friendlyness at the dealership. No pressure what... so ever. Jason Beers did a great job. I would purchase from him again. Matt Stowell did not try to pressure us into buying anything extra that we didn't want and Patrick Larken helped us to get the best finance rate possible.
