Crappy Sales Management

We test drove a 2017 GTI that we were very ready to purchase. When we sat down to talk price with JJ, he informed us that the actual price was higher due to dealer additions. True Coat from Fargo comes to mind. To dealer adds for $250 each. So the price was higher that Auto Trader (“we can’t control their pricing” and instead of reducing the $20K price, it actually went up. And JJ was not helpful, personable or friendly. I will never do business with this dealership.

Non-Service Department

I set appointment for Sat. 18 7:20 am. Spent a lot of time on the phone and asked for timing to complete my oil change. 1.5 to 2 hrs. to complete service. Arriving at 7:10 and driving from El Cajon. John greets me with a question, Do you have an appointment? My response was yes, he found my name/appt and wanted to get mileage etc.. As I hand the keys over he says all cars are now scheduled to be finished at the end of the day. I said wait I was told by scheduler 2 hr. max. I would like to speak with the Mgr. His response that's what it is, sorry. I said then I'll go some where else. He was okay with that ( Not your best spokesperson). This was my 2nd experience with the Service Dept. both same type of experience's. Really you should consider changing the name to "The Non-Service Department".

DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP

Had to bring car in for a recall. Was told over the phone that it would take a few hours. They ended up keeping the car 4 days, they did an "inspection" and let me know that the car needed $6,000 in service (car is a 2018. Has under 50,000 miles). When i told them no they kept it until 30 minutes before closing, meaning I had to pick it up the next day. Everyone I dealt with was rude, dismissive, or predatory.

Why make an appt?

Made an appt for 8 am for a simple recall fix. Its 3 pm and car is not done yet. Their answer was the technician is working on 6 cars.

Great Service 5 star

Staff was Honest and professional. Went in for a service and got a great price . I highly recommend this dealership. They were open on January 2nd when no other Volkswagen dealership was.

Great First VW Experience!

I have never been here before but walked up on Tuesday evening and had a new car driving off the lot that night. Raul was extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind. I was treated respectfully by the financing person and had an overall great experience. I would recommend this dealership and Raul, especially. I cannot comment on the service department, but am hoping that I will have an equally positive experience for my first 10K check up.

VW Vehicle Service

Disappointed with my first 10k Service appointment. #1 Made an appointment for 3:40 PM including requesting the Dealer Recommended Service (tire rotation and alignment…..). I Got to the dealer service at 3:30 PM and right the back they told me they would not be able to complete my service. That I would need a morning appointment. I replied why the online appointment website allows you to make reservations??? Short story, they only did the oil change. #2. It took nearly 40 minutes to receive my car after completion. They pulled the car out of the service area into the parking lot and didn’t get called 30 minutes later, then paid and got the keys adding another 10 minutes. #3 A report piece of paper on top of the dashboard said “Failed Alignment” when I spotted my car parked outside after service. No one said anything to me at check out and it was not noted on the receipt about the needed wheel alignment. Very disappointing.

Leased Car Ripoff

I was in an accident, not my fault, on September 12th 2022. My insurance company settles the claim for $10K over my payoff amount. Of course, I expected to receive a check for the $10K once the car was paid off. I was suprised when the total loss department informe me that VW Credit Kearney Mesa was keeping the overage! Apparently, this was not pointed out to me when I signed the lease agreement. Not to disclose this was not ethical. Yes, its in the contract but it was something that should ave been brought to my attention since no one reads thre the fine print of these 50 page contracts! We expect our dealership to be honest and upfront. I have been a loyal customer over the last 20 years but that time has ended. If this is how you choose to do businees; then you have one less cutomer.

Do not trust them (they do not care)

I brought my 2016 Volkswagon to this for a oil change and to check why the engine light is on.. I called to see if they had a shuttle and was told they will provide a Lyft if it is less than $15,00. When i asked they said they do not offer that. a few days later I was told that my Volkswagon that has less then 60k miles on started making a noise on the test drive and the car no longer starts and if I authorize 1000.00 they will tell me why. The car has aways run great when I dropped it off. I take pride in my car and even washed it before dropping it off. it Has been a few Months ans I still do not have my car. The management does not return phone calls and just wants me to go away. i have made 2 payments and am counting on friends for rides. I am asking for one thing and that is to get my car back exactly as I dopped it off, pretty and clean, and running great!!!!!!
