Great customer service!
We went in to look at used and new cars and we're quickly greeted by James. He was knowledable about both types of cars, but was not pushy for us to make a purchase right away. He provided great customer service and make us feel comfortable, giving us time to make our decision. James was excellent and was one of the main reasons we decided to purchase at Sunset Kia, along with the great price of the vehicle. We would absolutely recommend this dealership!

Horrific Service Dept. No Manager Support
I refuse to give any stars. First service appt made on 6/29/17, oil change, tire rotation done. Took 4.5 hours, no tech called to inform me that the front alignment and two new tires required where not DONE, after 4.5 hours..Second service appt..(due to first appt being a disaster) I would receive a loaner car and discount) 8/3/17 car dropped off at 10:15am, tech called at 3:40pm, they don't have my tires..NO WORK, was completed..a list of work was reviewed with Service mgr. Since 6/29/17 grease hand prints all over front molding, alignment, two tires, interior upholstery cleaning, after (5) hours AGAIN NOTHING WAS DONE..I have NEVER experienced such incompetent lack of customer service in my life.. I was contacted by Kia mfg customer satisfaction dept. They have been speaking with me in regards to the inability of Kia Sarasota to do THEIR jobs and repair my vehicle as they said they would..my 8/3/17 appt took forever to schedule because nobody returns your calls, it took for Kia Mfg. Contacting them for me to schedule an appointment...I drop car off, alignment, two new tires, interior upholstery cleaning, removal/cleaning of the grease THEY placed on my car from 6/29/17 appt. I received call at 3:40pm, they don't have my tires until tomorrow, seriously?? YOU were VERY aware for weeks I was coming..unacceptable..then the tech and mgr proceed to explain, NOTHING was DONE cause they didn't have the tires..My question it took (5) hours AGAIN for no work to be completed..I asked to be called with a quote and discount amount prior to work being done, so (5) hours later YOU did what? NO good answer given, they were shopping around for tires, WHY, when you've known since 6/29, let alone the conversation two days prior to appointment the tires would be needed..I have voicemail stating I'll get loaner car Monday yet Wednesday night I call them to confirm and NOW I have NO loaner car..bottom line..TWO service ""appointments"" NO WORK completed...NO a third appointment will NOT be scheduled because I was lied to, taken advantage of, lost two days pay, had to pay for rides there and back today, and MY car still NEEDS alignment, two tires, grease stains THEY put there removed, question? What did you do with MY car for (5) hours: NOTHING, except inconvenience me twice, lose a customer, my warranty expires soon so I was A) going to get extended warranty or B) trade in and buy New car..Kia Sarasota is horrific and I will DO neither there...Honda I'll be coming to visit you soon..This is what happens when you don't do your job, Management doesn't care about customer service and satisfaction...YOU LOSE CUSTOMERS AND GET HORRIBLE REVIEWS..Do NOT buy or bring YOUR car to Kia Sarasota...They will NOT do anything they say THEY are going to do. I tried not once but twice and spent/wasted (10) hours to have NOTHING fixed...THIRD time..I'm NO fool...There are plenty of car dealers that are eager to receive MY business and cash. Kia of Sarasota is NOT one of them..

Bt a 2017 Sorento thru Costco program. Fairly straight-forward process. Sold my trade-in to another dealer for more money than Sunset offered. Mark Brown very thorough and helpful in the sales process. Was sincere in his effort to get me into the right vehicle. Think I will enjoy the car very much.

Bought a new Kia Sportage
Buying a new car from Kia of Sarasota was one of our most pleasant car buying experiences ever. Our salesman (Antony Mccatty) was very knowledgeable and courteous. We negotiated the deal over the phone and when we arrived the car was ready and the business manager,Lane, was quick and we were driving our new Sportage home in a short time.

not sure what you mean
we were looking for a replacement for our two month old Kia for the following reasons 1. more trunk space 2. Better visibility from passenger seat, it seemed like I was sitting in "the hollow" without an option to raise seat 3. With dog and no ability to put seats down, it wasn't working for us 4. All the personal were extremely friendly and helpful and patient Good experience and very happy with our exchange. Mary & Dave

Great Experience
This was one of the best experiences I've had at a new car dealership. The salesman was very knowledgeable, listened to my needs and assisted in getting me the best vehicle choice and at the terms that I needed. The entire process was pleasurable with no high pressure attempts to add on services I did not want.
