Brian Lawrence is my contact at Volvo and he is always very helpful with getting me a loaner car, keeping in touch with me regarding repairs and timeframe for when my vehicle will be ready. When I get my vehicle back it is always clean and all the repairs/maintenance has been done. I am EXTREMELY happy with the Volvo of Phoenix dealership and Brian and his dedication to the customer.

I called on a used car that Volvo of Phoenix listed on an on-line service. They responded to my inquiry within 5 minutes of my sending a message of interest through the internet service. That was impressive. They furnished me with many additional pictures of the vehicle at my request, and the vehicle looked good. I live out-of-state, and planned a flight to Phoenix to see the vehicle myself. I was literally walking out of my house for the airport when the dealership called to try to catch me before I flew out, and told me a service they contract with had received a deposit on the car. No one ever mentioned this secondary service to me that I was competing with. So the car was not available for at least 48 hours which by agreement with this deposit receiving company it must be held by the dealer from being sold to someone else, like me. The vehicle subsequently disappeared off the internet website, so I assumed it was gone. No one contacted me otherwise, so it looked like the deal was off. The following week someone called my house and left the message that the vehicle hadn't sold, and that the car had failed the emissions test. Besides all this, the price listed on the internet was definitely not the bottom line price. If I were to have purchased the car with cash as was my intention, they would add $1000 to the price. I asked about financing it instead, and even with my super high credit rating, I would only get a 4.99% rate (outrageous!), which would push the interest on the loan above the $1000 mark, too. That was very disappointing. I ended up purchasing the exact same car at another dealer for less than I would have the car at Volvo of Phoenix. Both dealerships listed their sales price on the website, and the other one that I ended up purchasing from added nothing to the price they listed.

These guys advertise cars as new, including rather misleading photographs showing window stickers, factory new car labels and warnings on the dashboard when in reality they are former dealer rentals and loaners. They car I was interested in turned out to have a shade less than 8000 miles although it was clearly advertised as new. It was not, what's more it was a rental..,,. No thanks!
