ABSOLUTE SHAM OF A COMPANY....RUN Where do I start. Big Red Sports took possession of my car in January of 2019 due to engine failure on a 2016 Kia. They... initially tried to claim the engine failure was my fault and make me pay $7000 to replace it, even though I had perfect service records and Kia had been sued in several class action lawsuits related to the exact engine failure I experienced. After having to contact an attorney they finally agreed to replace the engine under the warranty, they kept the car for over 9 months. When the car was finally ready, Renea (Service Manager) told me we had two days to pick up the car or they would start charging me $45 a day. After explaining that we lived nearly two hours away and asked if we could pick the car up in four days rather than the two, Renea flat out refused. Renea stated that they had been covering the rental car for 9 months, as if it was out of the kindness of their heart and not because their engine failed under warranty due to manufacturing defects that left engine shavings in the oil. She also had the nerve to say 'well we shouldn't have been servicing your car anyways, as there is a dealership slightly closer to you in Lawton. Really.....REALLY? Well if that were the case you should have said something when you took possession of the car, not 9 months later when you are trying to again screw over a customer. I have never seen a 'manager' treat a customer worse than Renea. Even new managers have a basic understanding of right and wrong, and do what they can to take care of a customer. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS to this company, you will absolutely regret it. I asked Renea if after keeping the car for 9 months why they couldn't keep it an additional two days without charging us, as we had to make arrangements to get time off of work to drive to the dealership two hours away. I asked her if this was the right thing to do for a customer, the right way to treat a customer, who has frankly been through xxxx for the last 9 months. She stated it was and she was proud of the service she provided. She really said that! LOL I would be embarrassed if I were her, and if I was in charge of who was managing my dealership's service department I'd be embarrassed by her actions and I would certainly question her judgement.
Yesterday, my husband went to the dealership cause we never got a title, after a month and a half.. and they took my car from him and said they wont finance... us cause we only have a business account, which they knew about when we baught the car!! forced us to take our old car back that is NOW 2 months late on payments!!! And called the cops and FORCED him to leave without our 2500 deposit we put down on the car!! Don't not EVER shop att BIG RED KIA!!
We were amazed how fast they got us into our new Sorento!! Not great credit but they got us what we wanted! And we are repeat buyers from Big Red Kia!!...
From the get go, Kylee our sales person was great, the whole experience was great. Hands down one of the quickest, best car buying experiences I've ever... had!
Traveled 1600 miles for a "perfect, late model, low mileage, clean title" vehicle they made me put a refundable deposit on and get a credit approval to... hold. They were supposed to pick me up at the airport in the vehicle, and picked me up in a different one because the vehicle wouldn't run. Back at the dealership, the vehicle wouldn't start and run, and they claimed it ran out of fuel, then several hours later said it needed "a new fuse" to run. Looking under the hood and inside under the dashboard, it was packed solid with straw and mud, and the footwell lining was crudely cut out and removed, along with the truck bed liner. According to Carfax, the vehicle had been flipped back and forth between Big Red and an out-of-state dealer several times in a just matter of days, which would be consistent with shady methods of scrubbing a flood salvage title. I stayed in the area for several days, and in all that time they couldn't get the vehicle to run. I returned 1600 miles back home, and it took another 3 months and a credit card claim to claw back my refundable deposit. I hope the state attorney general investigates this dirty operation.
I could not have been more underwhelmed by this shoddy, dirty, unprofessional dealership. I was taken aback by the lack of professionalism by the salesperson... and who I was told was a manager. He was very unprofessional, entirely too casual in his approach and lack of asking about my history and did not care to ask any pertinent questions. I’ve never been so insulted by a sales staff in my life. Not to mention I have at least five credit inquiries and it seems at this moment they are still running inquiries. This “dealership” is a complete mess. There is no one there that I saw that I would even hire to clean my place of employment much less have access to my credit history. To put it bluntly, Big Red Kia is a joke. I feel embarrassed to have even gone there.
I recently purchased my 6th vehicle at Big Red, a Stinger. Devin was our salesman and He was great! I have dealt with J.T. In finance for several years.... He and Brad were excellent. Request Devin to sell you a car and you will leave happy!
I have been buying cars for years as I am almost 60. I have always stuck close to home OKC area when buying a new or used car, I have seven kid's and some... new cars some used cars and some co-signs. In 2016 I decided to travel out of my comfort zone and go to Big Red Sports and imports in Norman. Best decision I ever made. After my fourth purchase they continue to amaze me at how they go the extra mile to ensure I am completely satisfied. Finally a dealer that cares more about the customer than the bottom line. See you for my next purchase. Thank you Big Red God Bless Larry
Big red advertised car on major website. I called to ask if car was still available. Was told yes im looking at it now. Told them im on my way to buy... it . Got there ten minutes later. After arriving I asked for the salesman I spoke with. Was told buy a different salesman she was not there. Told him fine I want this car after showing him add. He leaves for ten minutes to smoke a cigarette. Im literally watch him through the window. He comes back in to inform me the car sold earlier in the morning and would like to show me a different car. I leave but not done. The car is still advertised the next day. I call to confirm that car is still available and confirm that its still on the lot. Brief hold and was told yes. I asked for a manager. Informed manager i was contacting my attorney and reporting them for false avertising. Was informed they could no longer speek to me because mentioned an attorney. Within 30 minutes of my phone call every add , and there was alot had been removed.
Wasted 2 hours of my only day off work to be treated very unprofessionally. I had already filled out the credit application online and was called saying... I was pre approved and set up an appointment to come in with documents. I get there with my wife who is disabled and the lady at the front desk told me Kaylee wasn't available but another sales person would be with us very rude like. After about 10 minutes the sales man came and introduces himself while chewing his food and let us know Kaylee would be with us in just a few minutes. We set at the only available table the rest have customers with salesman he then comes back and says part of the application had came over but waiting on rest wanted to know previous employer and then had my wife whom is unemployed fill out an application under pressure. Then he leaves and another guy comes out saying he had to try another bank. Even though we had already been advised over the phone that all we needed was the documents we brought for approval. He didn't even sit down and speak in a appropriate tone like the other sales men who by the way sitting with customers at every table but still NOT US about another hour later after being the only group of people never asked if we needed anything, or keeping us updated or even to see the vehicle we had seen online the gentlemen comes out went outside on his cellphone came back in and didn't sit down with us or anything was over 5 feet away sales well guys gonna need a cosigner and that was it and leaves. I work over 40 hours a week 6 days a week my off time is very valuable and to think this is how I got treated After conversations on the phone. My time and my wife's was wasted and the way we were treated compared to everyone else is unbelievable and very unfortunate. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
