Really, they just can't get the job done. Salesman, Danny, was as bad as they come. After waiting 5 days for them to finish putting the extra $4,100 mandatory package he didn't tell me about, they still didn't get me the paperwork I asked for did they finish doing the "package". Really, I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.
Use extreme caution
Ask for any salesperson except DANNY. He’s pretty slippery. If your want their car, ask for Jose. They add on a $4,500mandatory package with their cars. Tried to slip in a $4000 service warranty without asking us. Take a lot of time verifying everything. We were told our car was ready to pick up and when we asked for a copy of the “120 point inspection”, we learned they hadn’t done all of it. Ask LOTS AND LOTS of questions. If you can find what you want somewhere else, go there. But if you want their car, be careful.
Cindy, while it's great that Jose has earned your confidence, it's disappointing to see that others have not left you with the same impression. We don't run our business to mislead our customers, so I'm concerned to see this feedback. Furthermore, this does not sound like the straightforward professionalism I expect from our team, and I apologize for any mix-up on our end in regard to your 120-point inspection. I appreciate you bringing these concerns to my attention, and I will make sure they get properly addressed. If there's anything else you can add here, please reach out to me directly. Thank you, Eddie Hojjat - General Sales Manager - 760-469-9702
Worst dealership ever.
Worst dealership ever. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. Got ripped off on a car that was not fit to sell - no front brakes and bald front tires and that was just the start. They stand behind their vehicles because they wouldn’t dare stand in front!
Hi Greg and thanks for taking the time to write. We're sorry you had a negative experience and would welcome talking to you on the phone to see what we can do to make this right. Please feel free to reach out to me directly. Sincerely, Eddie Hojjat - General Sales Manager - 760-469-9702
So, is this a new GM? We were supposed to meet with David Soracco. Yes, we’re open to talking but would much rather meet in person as I still put a lot of trust in a handshake!
So, I take it with the “lack of response” that you do not wish to meet in person?

I recently purchased a new 2023 VW Tiguan SE from CVVW and was so surprised by the capabilities/features offered by VW. Danny Velazquez, the Salesman, was so knowledgeable and detail oriented that he made it very easy for me to understand the benefits of this car - a car I had not even considered before looking at new cars. Great place.
We are delighted to receive this positive feedback. Danny and our team will appreciate your words. We hope you are enjoying your VW Tiguan SE. Thank you for working with us here at Coachella Valley Volkswagen!
HORRIBLE BEWARE
If I could rate both dealerships and VW entirely I give them 0 stars. Unfortunately 1 is the lowest I can go. I would like to start this off as this a review towards both Coachella Valley Volkswagen and Palm Springs Volkswagen. Back in March the 23rd to be exact I purchased my first car with my Dad. It’s a 2013 Volkswagen Beetle. It was used but we purchased a warranty for it anyways, through the dealership of Palm Springs. Before purchasing the car I couldn’t text drive it cause it had a check engine light. The dealership never told me what that light was for but somehow “resolved” it. I trusted their word as they are the dealership and maker of the car. I should have taken that as a red flag and not bought it, but I did. Prior to buying it the salesperson made a promise to get me a locking gas cap and fix some minor issues. They dragged out the minor issues but eventually fixed some of them. The gas cap they never delivered on. They had such lack of communication. That was all the issues with the Palm Springs Dealership. On July 7th my coolant overheated so badly that I had to take it in the next day to Coachella Volkswagen. They kept it for a little bit and did some things and “fixed” the issue. They also test drove it for a little while. We had to pay for the stuff warranty didn’t cover and then had to buy a new battery cause it died while being there for about a week. I started driving it home and the coolant spiked once again. We took it back the next day. The original mechanic of my car at Coachella left the dealership and quit or got fired of some sort. Then we had other people working on my car. These people were HORRIBLE. They never called, barely updated, just everything was horrible. When I called they were rude to me and even LAUGHED at me for asking an ETA. This point my car has been in the shop for about 4 months, longer than I was able to drive it. I only drove this car about 5 miles a day too. Supposedly I need a whole new engine, I have no idea how I could make that happen within just a short time of driving it. So I paid for things that are no longer even in my car. The mechanics there are horrible with communicating with us and the warranty company. They are supposed to send tests and more to the warranty company but won’t do it unless my Dad calls them frequently to mention it. I had to get corporate involved as well. I have made complaint about the dealerships and the specific people that work there. I’m so scared to even get my car back, if they let me drive off with a still broken car what’s to say they won’t do it again. I’m trying to go through a buy back process but it’s so saddening. The Coachella Volkswagen is HORRIBLE. Don’t go there. I honestly could keep going on in this review. Upon picking up the vehicle after over 4 months. My car had a scratch, my rims are jacked up, my custom valve cap is missing, they misplaced my lug nut key, got a nail in my tire and didn’t fix it, and broke my NEW fog lights.
I'm sorry to receive the low rating. We strive for excellent communication and effective follow-up with our customers, and I regret that we let you down. Given your concerning comments, we'd like the chance to discuss this with you in order to improve. Please consider reaching out to me at your convenience. Your team would just ignore the call if I tried like the did when they had MY CAR FOR FOUR MONTHS. You’re pathetic. Your shop is pathetic.
SCAM, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, LIES
SCAM! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! By far the WORST and unprofessional experience I've ever had in a dealership. After inquiring about a vehicle listed at $35,000 on their website, salespeople, and 2 managers tried to sell the car with additional dealer installed accessories, raising the total price above $41,000. Their website clearly states "All Pricing and Advertised Prices for any/all vehicles offered for sale does not include dealer installed accessories which can be purchased for an additional cost." "...WHICH CAN BE PURCHASED FOR AN ADDITIONAL COST." NOT that they will include it in the price tag without the purchaser consent and without an option.
Javier, I am very sorry to read about your experience. It is never our intention to misinform our guests, so I am sorry that the final price of the vehicle was not more clearly outlined from the get-go. I will look into this further so we can address any discrepancies or mistakes in our online advertising. We would appreciate the chance to make things right. Please reach out to Walid Jaber, our General Sales Manager, at 760-469-9702 at your convenience. Thank you.
THIS PLACE IS A SCAM
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This dealership is a scam, the prices they have listed online are all false advertisements. We just tried to buy a vehicle listed at $35,000. We spoke to Melissa who said we could take the vehicle home for that price or that she may be able to work a better deal with us. She then went ahead and ran our credit WITHOUT our approval and went on to add an additional $11,000 (In dealer-installed accessories), Which they said we were required to pay with the vehicle, there was no mention of this online or anywhere else. The manager was extremely rude told us to go talk to his lawyer.
Jessica, this feedback is very concerning to receive. It is never our intention to misinform our guests, so I am sorry that the final price of the vehicle was not more clearly outlined prior to your visit. Additionally, we expect much better treatment for our guests and I will be sure to address your concerns with my team. I understand that you are frustrated and I would like to step in to see how we can make things right. Please reach out to Walid Jaber, our General Sales Manager, at 760-469-9702 when you get the chance. Thank you.
