I showed up at the office looking to purchse the 2004 Chrysler Sebring they had listed on cars. com. When I arrived i noticed a the driver side front... tire was missing the air valve cap and was a bit low on air. After informing the staff of this, I had to wait about 20 minutes for their mechanic to show up to put air in the tire. When asked about the vehicle and any issues it may have, I was told it ran well and started every day when the younger staff member started it, as well as the fact that it had been test driven a few days before. I drove the car less than a mile down the road when it died while I was attempting to turn left into an empty parking lot. After pushing the car into an empty lot, we had to wait about 20 minutes for a staff member to come by to try and either get the car started again or give us a ride back. She put fuel in the tank and I attempted to start the car, but was unable to do so. I was then given a ride back to the dealership and promptly left afterwards. Unless they are able to offer me a steep discount after having the vehicle repaired, I will not ever be returning to this lot.

Dear Stranded, First I would like to thank you for stopping by to inquire about our 2004 Chrysler Sebring and then I would like to apologize for th...e car breaking down on you. Before that incident we had not had ANY problems out of that car, like you were informed by the younger staff member who has the responsibility of starting every car everyday!! Also I'm not sure if your sense of time is a little off or you were just mistaking but as soon as you called the office phone to inform us that the car has stalled, I (office Manager) walked out the door, grabbed a gas can and left to go see if the car needed gas. As you stated you were only less than a mile away from the car lot so by no means were you waiting 20 min for me to arrive. Every car we buy comes from an auction and is listed as green light which means the car has no issues. But As soon as we get it we have our mechanic inspect it anyways. Unfortunately some cars have issues that we are not informed of and that can't be detected until it has been driven for so many miles. This was one of those cases. The car has now been fixed and is ready for sale!! (at the same price as before) Thanks and again sorry for the trouble it caused!!
