Purchase of certified pre-owned 2014 Acrua RLX

This is my fourth Acura and probably the easiest auto purchase I have made. My car was purchased from Jeff Carter at Vandergriff Acura. I had seen him around the dealership for over a year and he has always been friendly, has a good sense of humor and is not overly-aggressive. The RL has always been the car I desired and while getting my '05 serviced, Jeff brought my attention to the '14 RLX. He was not pushy and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He explained all of the features and encouraged me to call or drop by the dealership if I had any questions or needed any guidance. He was the most efficient ("information provider") salesman I have ever encountered. Except for my long wait in the dealership while the Managers were meeting, the process was very easy, pleasant and efficient.

Excellent one stop service

I wanted to find a car in a short time because my old car was totaled. I really appreciate the excellent sevice I received. Jeff Carter worked with new car sales manager Chris Onorato and give me a great price on 2015 MDX based on what I need. Jeff helped me to return the rental car on site ( I never known Enterprise has a car rental branch inside the dealership). He showed me how to use all the functions in the new car so I can drive it home confidently. I am glad I purchased the car from them. It is worth to drive more than 50 miles to get there.

Bad buying experience

I would not recommend this place to buy car cause they made me drive from Plano to Arlington on commitment from their Pre-Owned Dept Director Steve Crain that we will try to close/match the price and the other guy Travis told me if you don?t find good car with us we will fill up your car tank but please come by for so I visited this them but finally price was given $1000 more which was no way close to the the price discussed over phone .As usual No tank filled happened I was not expecting that either . I m frustrated because of false commitments and waste of my time ,70 Miles of traffic drive please be aware that no phone commitment is going to followed here .

Top of the line service on all LEVELS !!!!!!!!!!! my check engine light came on and the problem was'nt easy to locate. Matt ability to take the stress out of my concerns and providing a loaner,help me not to miss a beat with my daily operations. For me this is HUGE!!!!! Thanks Matt

Good communication after the initial contact - Service Dept

I purchased my MDX in June of 2014. It is a new 2014 fully loaded MDX. Now the car makes noises. I live in Little Elm, which at the time when the car was sold to us they said it's within 50 miles of their pickup/drop off range so I was happy to hear that I could have that service whenever I needed repairs/warranty work. Now that the car makes noises I decided to take it in to Plano Acura to see if they can fix it. Plano works on a it a few days and I think maybe I should take it back to where we bought it from. We call Vandergriff today about bringing it then there to get it looked at if Plano cannot fix and they say they won't come get it. That it's too far. What??? You didn't say that on June 20th when we bought the car. Very disappointed at this point. In the dealership, Acura, and the car in general. I will say that Plano seems to be working hard at trying to fix the noise. Update: After 14 days, it appears to be fixed. It's nice that I have a loaner but I just thought I bought a brand new car that I wouldn't have to get serviced like this for years to come. Vandergriff has since said that the person that we spoke to was new. That's fine, but maybe better communication needs to be happening. They have also since offered to look at the car to repair if Plano cannot. For the moment car seems good again. Nice that Vandergriff has reached out to us to let us know that they are available to help rectify the noise. We are so very glad that it's fixed in the meantime.

Not what I Expected

I went not planning to have to have anything. Jeff Carter at the dealership had been looking for me a vehicle and ended up finding my kids and I the perfect vehicle. From Mr.Carter to the sales manager everyone was very patient with me as I was extremely nervous about buying a vehicle. In the end I am happy with my payment, my vehicle, my interest rate and definitely the service. Everyone was very kind.

relief

We have been trying to work out a way to solve our leasing problem. My daughter was putting too many miles on her car. I had spoken to several people but until we worked with Jeff Carter we felt hopeless. Jeff got her out of the lease and into a purchase of a 2015 RDX with a payment close to her rental payment. Thank you Jeff and Jordan. You both worked hard to get this done for a very stressed young lady. That's why we are on our 7th car from Vandergriff Acura

Pleasurable Experience

Just purchased a 2015 Acura RDX this past Friday. Dan, my salesman was extremely patient and pleasant. The New Car Sales Manager, Robert, worked with me to get to a great deal accomplished. Wes, the Finance Manager was organized, polite, efficient and personable. My experience was seamless. I would purchase from Vandergriff again.
