I spent over 20 hrs. looking for a Buick Rendzevous that met my taste. Checking all the sites that I could think of. After reading reviews, car faxes,... looking at pictures, and willing to travel over 800 miles for this vechicle. It came down to only four Rendzevous. I called some of the dealers and talked with them. But then I noticed that I could have an I.M.. So this was the 1st contact with GEORGE RODRIGUES at Estate Motor South. I was surprise that he responsed immed.. When I asked questions about the car he had all the answers right there. He asked me if I was able to take a test drive if there was anything he could do to help me get there. I told him I was still looking for the vechicle and would let him know when I would be there. George thank me for contacting them and didn't try to press me into giving out information about me. I gave a call to George a week later to ask what the selling price was for the vechicle because I had found 2 different prices on the vechicle. I was happy to hear that it was the lower price. We talked a little more and I told him that I was going to be traveling about 250 miles to look at the vechicle. I had already looked at three others before I went to Estate Motor. When went to the dealership I asked for George to be able to deal with and found out that he was also the manager of the store of in there used car department. George got the car out and put by the front door for me to look at and be able to test drive it. I was happy that I was dealing with the boss so there would not be a middle man when it came down to dealing. He let me take it out by myself and told me a route to take so I could test out everything from power, shifting, bumps, stop and go, and hills. After the test drive we sat down and started dealing on the price (no trade). I let him start with the sticker price and then asked what was is best price that he would come down to. He gave me a lower figure and I made my offer to him. We went back amd forth on everything from what the trade value was to private sale and retail sale would be. George and I went back and forth until I got a price I was willing to pay. ( I do think now that I could have done a little better but wanted to be fair and knowing that I had set a limit on what I would spend for this vechicle. Also This vechicle was my 1st choice of all the vechicles I had on my list. George had a crew that took the car and detailed it again, both inside and out. I said not to do the outside because it was raining that day but he told them to do it anyways. When they where finished with the car they even filled it up with gas for me. Thank You George and Estate MOtor South for having the vechicle and taking the time to sit down and deal with me. P.S. Just after we made the deal somebody slse wanted to check on the car and maybe buy it.
