When the lease of my girlfriends car was running out, we needed to find a replace vehicle for her and neither of us were looking forward to the stress... and constant back and forth that typically comes with dealing with car sales......Capitol Hyundai was nothing like that typical experience. We spent less than an hour on a Saturday being walked through all of their inventory for their mid-sized SUV, the Tuscon, and test drove the model we liked. Casey, who was fantastic, was not pushy at all - fully respected that we just wanted to do the test drive and think more about the car before running any kind of numbers, and politely gave us his contact information and told us to follow up if we were interested. Fast forward a couple of days and only a few emails - Casey had found the exact model/spec car we were looking for, held it for us, and after only about 20 minutes of speaking in person - we had a deal. We both really can't thank Capitol Hyundai, and more specifically, Casey, for all of their help. This was definitely the most stress-free and happy car buying experience we've ever had, and would definitely recommend their business to anyone!

I couldn’t be happier with my car buying experience with Elwira. Take it from me when I say that she really knows her stuff. She doesn’t pressure you,... she works with you on your budget, and she really gives you what you want. The whole process was really smooth! Background: Bought a new car and had the first maintenance done with them. While buying the car: They claim to offer a stress free buying environment... by offering the best prices, and little to no haggling. That wasn't quite what I experienced. Had to really work to get my trade in value to what I expected. They kept saying it wasn't possible, but as soon as I got ready to head for the door, they'd change their mind and counter. The sales rep I was working with was a pretty nice guy, but I hate the fact that they couldn't just give me a yes or no answer to my trade in value request. Instead, they tried to pressure me into a lower value, and finally gave in once I was about to leave, which took close to 90 minutes. First maintenance with them: Upon buying a new car from them, they threw in what they called the "first maintenance" as part of the deal. I just today had my wife go down to have our car serviced according to the manual's recommendation for 7500 miles, but they threw a curveball at us. They tried saying that the free service was only supposed to cover an oil change, but wouldn't cover things like tire rotations, which they claimed would be another $40 dollars. It wasn't until I called over and spent 15 minutes on the phone that they were willing to include it. They mentioned that it was the sales department's fault for not specifying that the full service package was not what they were supposed to offer. The gentlemen from maintenance ended up helping me out, which I appreciate, but I still feel bitter for even having to make the call in the first place. Overall, I found that the people working on the shop floor and in the maintenance shop were pleasant to deal with, but I have not had a great experience with Capitol Hyundai as a whole. I believe my issue with them really comes from the shady practices presented by the leadership team. I get that they're responsible for cutting costs around the dealership, but some of the things i've seen in my two short experiences are likely to make me think twice before coming back. I'll likely find a local shop with a good reputation near my house to complete future maintenance on my vehicle.
I bought a CPO car from this dealership through internet sales. Yasmin helped me with the test drive and she was extremely helpful and patient. She pa...tiently answered all my questions and looked at tens of cars before settling on this one. I would recommend her. The car buying experience was average because the rest of the sales team seemed disengaged.
When buying a new car I am always nervous but Casey put me at ease as he understood my needs of features and also my financial situation. He was pat...ient with me and showed me many different Tucsons with different features. He didn't try to sell me just any Tucson. I emailed the dealership to request more details about a car they had listed, mainly for more photos (or any photos), and possibly to schedule a test ...drive. Somebody promptly responded to my email to let me know that he was going to snap some quick photos with his phone and that I should be on the lookout for his followup email. Several days later I finally got an email explaining that the car had gone straight to auction and was no longer available. Several more days later the car is still listed for sale on the website and there are still no photos.
