****Update/Revised - 11/7/25 I have driven it 630 miles since picking it up and all the problems are back and some new ones. Looks like I spoke too soon regarding the the service I received. At this point I don't want the truck. I can not recommend dealing with this dealership. ***Update/Revised - 10/29/25 I was contacted by Jonah the sales manager and they asked me to bring the truck back to be diagnosed. After several days they came up with what they believed were the issues and we came to what I believe was a very fair agreement for the repairs with them agreeing to cover a large portion of the costs. I picked up the truck yesterday and so far everything has been fine. I appreciate them stepping up to make it right and being very fair with the costs. Other than the inconvenience I am very satisfied with the sale and service from Romeo Ford Kingston and my dealings with Jonah the sales manager, Mike the service manager, and the salesman Trae. *Original I purchased a 2017 F250 on 10/9/25. The salesman I dealt with (Trae) was easy to deal with and it was a simple transaction. The negative part is that I've owned it less than a week and I've already had an what appears to be a severe issue with it. While driving on the highway Monday 10/13/25, a notification came on the info screen the says "Service Advancetrac" I've also lost all of the controls on the steering wheel and no longer have directional controls, whipper controls, or hi/lo beam controls. Along with that message the check engine light, ABS light, Parking brake light, and traction control light are all on. I had the truck scanned, and I'm looking at two pages of thrown codes, some in my opinion I believe the dealership must have been aware of. I understand that it's a used truck and there is no warranty, but I would expect to have it more than a week before I start to have major issues. Needless to say I'm pretty disappointed with my experience so far with Romeo Ford of Kingston.

Purchased a Used 23’ Nissan from Trae Ivery at Romeo Ford
Purchased a Used 23’ Nissan from Trae Ivery at Romeo Ford on 10/03/25. Trae is very outgoing and personal. We were able negotiate a fair deal on both the vehicle in question and the amount for my trade. The entire team was fantastic. Observed two small dings on the rear door and a bubble on the sidewall of one of the tires. Mgr Jonah came out took a look and agreed to replace the tire and have the door fixed by their debt wizard guy. All in all, it was a great buying experience.

I identified an error code during my test drive which the
I identified an error code during my test drive which the salesman lied and said was not an error code, but in fact, only the gas cap needed to be tightened which he tightened so much that the gasket in the gas cap broke. That should’ve been my warning to run away, but instead, I foolishly purchased a vehicle from these people and have been dealing for weeks with lies and mid truths regarding both sales and service. They do not legally provide the documents. They are required to when you purchase a vehicle.. they fraudulently document work on work orders that they do not do when questioned verbally. Everyone I have spoken to about them since purchasing a vehicle from them who has also purchased a vehicle from them indicates that this is one of the worst places to buy a car unless you know what you’re talking about and can force their hand. I strongly suggest recording all your calls and conversations with sales staff service staff and management because they will make verbal assertions that are unprovable otherwise. I would run away and if you have already unfortunately purchased a car from them like I have I would treat them like they are lying to you every time they open their mouths.

After buying so many vehicles I can tell you that this is probably the WORST place ever. What makes it so bad is the horrendous service after purchase. The salespeople were decent, but we all know that's because they want to sell you a car or truck. We recently purchased a pre-owned F150 from this dealership and found out the APIM went bad BEFORE we purchased it. We brought the truck in less than six months after we got it and gave them the information that FORD gave us. We end up being told it'll be almost $1,500 to fix it!!! Fix a part that was busted when we got it? Seriously??? The trash service department will screw you whenever they can. AVOID ROMEO!!! Go to Rhinebeck or Poughkeepsie. Our last truck was new and this is what happened: THE ROMEO SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS GARBAGE!!! We had no issues ordering factory custom parts for our truck, but when it came to service, the place was the worst. We had RECALL and WARRANTY issues that needed to be addressed and we called to bring the truck in. The genius' tell us we need to leave the truck for TWO DAYS WITH NO LOANER AT ALL!!! This caused my wife and me to have to take time off from work...for something that was NOT our fault at all. By 11am I get a text saying they can't look at one of the issues with the transmission until a month from now due to booking! Again...THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST EVER! AVOID ROMEO!!! READ THE OTHER REVIEWS ON HERE!!!
