Dealership service staff are professional, polite,

Dealership service staff are professional, polite, knowledgeable. These qualities engender trust. I have a suggestion for South Austin Autonation as the customer auto service waiting area and offices are being remodeled: please add a formal waiting area out in the fresh air under the trees. This would involve some sort of pavers and comfy outdoor furniture, and routine fumigation for ants. I am immune compromised, I prefer to sit outdoors unmasked, I read while I wait for my car to be repaired. I prefer this over the noisy-two tv’s air conditioned space. Thank you for asking and for listening.

For my 5k, I did not enjoy it.

For my 5k, I did not enjoy it. They "checked" the fluids, but after they returned the car, I checked them just outside the building, and some fluids were low. So, they checked but did not do anything to fix it until the request was made. From that incident, I am not sure they rotated the tires. I was offered a car wash, and I am still waiting for that.

Dropped my car off for an oil change and a recall notice

Dropped my car off for an oil change and a recall notice at 10:30 a.m. for an 11:00 appointment, told service advisor i'd be back to pick it up in a few hours, service advisor made no objection. Returned to pick up the car at about 2:30 p.m., was told by service advisor that the car was not done. waited about 15 minutes for the service advisor to go to the shop to check on the status. Upon his return, the device advisor informs me that the oil change was almost done, but that the recall must be done by a certified technician and that they were short of these on that day. we waited about another 1/2 hour for the oil change to be done, and decided to reschedule the recall repair after the advisor told me that he thought they could get that done by end of day. At this point i had questions about the credibility of these folks....
