I bought my first newer vehicle from this company. I was thrilled because on the surface they had really great customer service. I had the vehicle for... two weeks when I realized something was wrong with it. I took it into their auto repair center because of this issue and also because I bought the extended warranty though their shop. DO NOT BUY THIS WARRANTY! IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME! The auto shop could not figure out what was wrong with my car, even though it was pretty obviously the transmission. I took it to them four times in four months for this same problem and every time they told me something new and different was wrong. Not only that, but all the quotes on fixing these issues were really high. I ended up taking it to a different shop to find the problem. Long story short, I took the receipt from the other shop back and they said they would fix everything and that they were so sorry etc etc. Well, after having my car for four weeks and them barely ever calling us to tell us what they were doing and why, they give me a ridiculous bill and tell me all kinds of lies of what they did. When I called them out on these lies, they continued to deny it.They charged us $500 in the end for basically just a new radiator coolant system, because nothing else got fixed, including the problem (the tranny). I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN AND I HOPE NOBODY ELSE HAS TO GO THROUGH WHAT I HAVE HAD TO GO THROUGH. I WANTED EVERYTHING TO WORK OUT BECAUSE I LOVED THIS CAR BUT NOW MY FIRST CAR EXPERIENCE IS RUINED. PLEASE FIND A MORE RESPONSIBLE DEALERSHIP TO DO BUSINESS WITH.
I had a very good experience buying a car from this dealership, and Tim Kolstad in particular. Never bought a car before. My dad bought my first car a...nd my husband has bought every one since then. They had a good selection and didn't try to sell me something out of my price range. Never pushy, just helpful. I did a lot of research so i knew what I was looking for and what it would likely cost. They were so easy to work with and I feel great about the car I got and the price I paid for it. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a used car.
I found that Bozeman Pre-owned is a great place to find a good used truck. Tim was very helpful and treated us like he really cared. I had a couple mi...nor issues with the truck and Tim made sure they were taken care of. I took my truck in for service and Tim was nice enough to give us a ride to the airport and pick us up when I arrived home! Thanks for an overall great experience!

I test drove four consecutive vehicles, all of which had major mechanical problems.I'm apalled that this dealership is still in business. There cars a...re unsafe!
I am sorry to hear about your experience. Before our cars go out on our lot we put them through a 90-point inspection then back them up with either a... 30-day or a 90-day warranty depending upon age and mileage which is rather unusual in the used car business. Most used cars at other dealers are sold "as-is". Any car that fails our inspection and is deemed too expensive to repair we wholesale to other dealers. If you felt the vehicles you test drove were unsafe or mechanically unsound we wonder why you did not mention this to any of our staff or managers. We stand behind and are very proud of our vehicles and our customer service. We would welcome the opportunity to work with you again.
