I’m here to file a complaint, these guys listed a’18 XC90...

I’m here to file a complaint, these guys listed a’18 XC90 T6 inscription on CarGurus as clean carfax. Submitted offer and talked to Robert K. He was quite unprofessional in he’s emails. Did some more research on the car and there’s an accident on the record. Why would they post online as clean carfax?! So unprofessional! Wish I would be able to attach photos as proof... I guess only google maps has this option

Hi Gabe. You seem to have some confusion here. CarGurus uses AutoCheck to determine if the car has a clean title or has been in an accident. We don't ask for that report, we don't pay for that report, we don't have any say in that report.. A clean CarFax is a completely different report. You yourself said in an email that it has a clean title per AutoCheck. It does in fact have a clean title. In the email you also pointed out that our website said that we had run a CarFax and that it had been in an accident. So to recap, CarGuru's report said it has a clean title with no accidents, which is not a report we run or stand behind. Our website says it has an accident with Moderate to Severe damage, which it did. We hid nothing, in fact you wouldn't have known it had an accident report if you hadn't seen it on OUR website. As for Bob's professionalism, he was certainly lacking in pleasantries when he replied "Sorry we can't do that" in his reply to you that we wouldn't pay to ship our Volvo to you as part of the negotiating process. From the looks of it that email came from a phone and it would seem that he favored a timely response instead of a thorough response. We will talk to him about being more courteous even if he's on his phone.

Great Vehicle Buying Experience

Art our sales rep was extremely professional, attentive and answered all of our questions. Art balanced getting us the right information on time and not pressuring us to make a decision. I highly recommend this dealership and especially Art.

Working with Angela has been a wonderful experience. I brought 2 small kids and lots of car seats to test out, and her patience was much appreciated. Other staff were kind and helpful as well. We did not feel pressured into anything, and it was a great experience. We have to order the vehicle we want (due to Covid shortages), but Angela is helping to make that process a breeze.

Do not buy a Volvo from this dealership. Last month I was trying to buy a Volvo from them and have a written and signed accepted offer from the Sales Manager. He told me that one of his sales people will call me very soon so I could pick up the car that night. I received a call about two hours later saying that someone is interested in the car and that I need to provide a credit card (which I did) but then five minutes later he texts me back and says the car is gone! A few days later I speak to the VP of Sill-Terhar and he says that they will put together something for me to make it right but the deal wasn't any better. The sales manager called me back after that conversation and couldn't provide anything better then he offered me after my original car was sold out from under me not even $1,000 off. Do yourself a favor and buy your next car from anyone but Sill-TerHar.

Trustworthy info, solid deal!

Bob was fantastic. He knew and shared facts that were accurate, convincing, and helpful. He provided solid advice on which options were valuable and why. Finally, he was very transparent about the buying, ordering, and intra-dealer transfer processes.
