I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Mercedes in Ontario

I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Mercedes in Ontario on December 11th. Initially, the staff were friendly and welcoming, which was promising. However, as time went on, I felt that the service did not meet my expectations. There were several minor issues that could have been addressed initially, but I had to return multiple times for follow-ups. It felt like there was a lack of attention to detail, and at times, it seemed the dealership’s focus was more on newer vehicles. I’m not sure if this difference in treatment was due to the fact that I bought a pre-owned car, but it definitely contributed to my frustration. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who gets a pre-owned vehicle, so that shouldn’t be a problem, but that’s how I felt in my personal experience. Now, as of January 6th, I’ve barely received the help I need. In fact, I was the one who had to reach out repeatedly, and the only other contact I received was from A.B. on December 20th, who left a voicemail. I tried to return the call, but no one followed up after that. This ongoing lack of support, especially during the holidays, has been frustrating. Well over all , while the initial experience was promising, the ongoing issues and lack of support have been disappointing. I hope Mercedes can improve their customer service in the future, even if my review might not significantly impact them given their national ranking.

The sales associate (Joseph) and financing

The sales associate (Joseph) and financing representatives were wonderful. No high pressure sales, no unreasonable expectations or demands, the ENTIRE process was positive, respectful, informative, and far more pleasant than expected and over other dealerships. We were shown multiple options and all my concerns were respected and taken into consideration by everyone we interacted with. Not the typical discomfort felt in the car buying experience with generic sales tactics and overwhelming pressure. They allowed us time to look, relook, test drive, re-test drive :) all without feeling like we were inconveniencing anyone. Everything was great....and we left with a new car instead of the plan for a pre-owned. Completely satisfied!!!!

recently visited Mercedes-Benz and had the pleasure of working with Mr. Jeff Tarin regarding the end of my lease end. I came in with a few preferences, which was to leaver MB & purchase a car with another Brand. I was uncertain about the most financially responsible path—whether to end my lease, purchase my current vehicle, or explore a new one. Jeff was incredibly mindful, honest, resourceful, and supportive throughout the entire process. His charismatic and empathetic approach immediately put me at ease. He took the time to thoroughly educate me on all available options, including the financial implications of each, while paying close attention to both my needs and my financial comfort. Although I ultimately decided to purchase a new vehicle, Jeff ensured that I felt confident, informed, and genuinely happy with my decision. His professionalism and care made a lasting impression, and I’m truly grateful for the time and attention he dedicated to assisting me. Afshin always comes through!

Afshin always comes through! I had a hard time trying to figure out exactly what I wanted to purchase this time, but Afshin had four cars picked , and ready for a test drive by the time I got to the dealership. Unfortunately for him I was not overly excited with my choices, they all had something I wanted, but none of them had everything I wanted. So we had a spirited conversation, and Afshin directed Brandon to find me something I could be excited about, and five minutes later Brandon drove up with my car, and I was extremely excited to purchase it! Thank you Afshin, and Brandon!
