Aggressive Salesmen

Hanson Subaru is over-charging for new cars. The salesman (Dan) told me it is because of the shortage of cars. But, Puyallup does not jack up the prices like Hanson does. Aggressive salesman said the "Prep/Sterilization" fee is mandatory. It is NOT mandatory and is way over priced at $1295. Should be around $200 for 1 hour of shop time.

Spare yourself the headache, go somewhere else

Ordered a 2022 Forester and put a $500 deposit down on it. When we left the dealership we didn't receive the sales slip they only gave us the factory order sheet and there was no indication of the $500 deposit or that it was non-refundable. They only gave us the factory order sheet. When we finally got the sales sheet the MSRP and the "Hanson" price were off by $2600!!! We cancelled the order and now they will not give us the $500 deposit back. They have no problem keeping $500 from my wife and I who are in our mid 70's.

Purchase of a 2021 Subaru Forester

I?m used to getting my car washed when serviced. Not receiving a card for a free wash off site. Adds more time to the process

My Forester

The experience was above my expectations. I never felt pressured or hurried. Dan took the time to show me everything on the car, let me take it for a nice test drive and answer all of my questions. If the service team does as good a job, Hansons and Subaru will have a long time customer

Great experience - Outback owner.

I had a really good experience buying a car from the Hanson dealership. Eric helped me find the car that I feel is perfect for me and I just love it. I was made to feel comfortable and welcome and informed of my options. Im happy to say that I look fondly on both my car and my experience buying it!

Subaru crosstrek owner

Greatly dismayed by the car breaking down by the road. Spoke to the rep at subaru. She reassured me that the car was under warranty even though I was the second owner. Subaru paid to have my car delivered to a subaru dealer where they diagnosed, ordered the parts and repaired my car. Treated very well by both representative and the dealership in olympia.

A good experience

I haven't bought a car in years. The last car I bought was a Honda Civic, used, in 2007. It was a 2005 with a bit over 34, 000 miles on it. I didn't buy the car from a Honda dealership but from a Nissan dealership in Concord California. I remember a very long and drawn-out process. I don't recall the service contract, but I do remember not having a place to go to when the air condition unit ran out of freon. I drove for years without air conditioning. Subaru is the best. I think Hanson Subaru has a special touch. I know, even if I bought a used Subaru from them, I think I would be treated the same way as I was when I bought the new car.
