    Recently I brought my 2017 in for service. The issue was a Tire Pressure Sensor which was working intermittently. However, it had been not registering... a reading for nearly a week. Well, as luck would have it, one the way to Cowles to drop the vehicle off for a Recall Repair and to have the sensor looked at, it began to send a signal again. As a result, the Tire Pressure Sensor could not be replaced. I was leaving on a trip the next day and, wouldn't you know it, the sensor malfunctioned before I reached Fredericksburg. It has not worked now for nearly a week again. I would think that a Tire Pressure Sensor could be replaced it the customer relates that it is not working correctly. That is my suggestion. I have been a customer of Cowles for many years and, I find the folks there to be very courteous and professional. I would recommend Cowles to anyone and, I have done so.

    This survey site is not structured to accurately capture customer opinions. I have 2 complaints. 1) The employee with Cowles Parkway Ford Customer Service... did not accurately record my telephonic request for service. I provided the employee with my mileage and explained that my vehicle was overdue a service and I would like the first available date/time. I informed the employee that my service light had not come on and requested that the service department ensure that the light be re-set. The employee recorded that I required my service light re-set - NOT that I required a service. I do not wish the employee to be disciplined or terminated. The fault is with the dealership for not properly training the employee. Employees should always restate the customer's request to ensure it was captured correctly (e.g. "I want to ensure I accurately recorded your request. I understood you to say, ____. Is that correct?") 2) I dropped my vehicle off prior to the service department opening on the morning of the service. I left instructions on the envelope with my fob. I called mid morning and requested a status of my service, only to learn that my vehicle was not scheduled for a service, but was rather scheduled to have the service light re-set. My vehicle was eventually serviced. Not happy. This reflects directly on management. If management properly trained / mentored their employees., this would not have happened.
