Not worth fixing your new car
I feel scammed and lied to. I was in the market of buying the civic Type R they had available. I’d like to preface this by saying the salesman I worked was absolutely wonderful and I really wish I could’ve bought from him. I agreed to the price of the car and did a credit app. This is my first ever big purchase and I was so excited after I submitted my application I was contacted by the sales manager letting me know the car had damage on one of the rims. This is where things took a turn for the worse, if I had known such a thing prior I would never have ran my credit. They told me they just saw it themselves too, which I find hard to believe and I’ll go into detail why later. First of all if you’re buying a brand new vehicle you expect there to be no damage, so they tell me they will get it repaired. I don’t even want a repaired wheel on a new car. So I’m guessing they called around and couldn’t find a dirt cheap quote. Because after I was informed that the owners and manager have decided that I should just deal with it because it’s not cost effective for them to order a new wheel. A car that I was already spending close to 10k above msrp and they told me to just accept the damage. Not once did they offer to right any of the wrongs which is the worst part. No apologies, no offer to make amends. This is truly disgusting when you find your dream car and such a thing has happened. They definitely knew it was damaged. Either that or they have the worst pre delivery inspection practices of all time if they don’t notice damaged alloys on their flagship car. The upper management and owners left a truly awful taste in my mouth. Don’t worry though because they raised the price of the car and told me someone else will buy it. I can’t imagine buying a car from an owner who hides the fact that his car is damaged and then tells the buyer it’s not worth fixing so go deal with it yourself. Now I’m just left with a credit inquiry and wasted hours of my life.
It's never our intention to mislead or misinform our customers so it's very concerning to see we've left the wrong impression. This certainly does not reflect the attentive professionalism I expect from our team, and it seems there was a mix-up regarding the car's condition. Great Honda of Casper team Jessica andTony
I loved working with Jessica and Tony at Honda Casper. Found the CR-V on line ,was eventually put in contact with Jessica and she answered all our questions I live 260 miles from Casper so I asked to see a actual video of the car with in minutes I received the video after some more conversation we decided to pursue a deal. Jessica agreed to drive the car and meet us 1/2 way to test drive, she did this on a Sunday we love the car,signed papers and enjoyed the drive home. Tony also was very good at explaining finances and warranty info, presented in a way for us to make an informed decision. No pressure was ever felt from Tony Or Jessica. That is why we gave a 5 star. The negative was trying to reach the dealer ship in Casper initially. I called the # given on line to inquire info,was directed to a Washington state #,Andrea confirmed the car , said she had to check on a few ?s I ask,get back later , never heard from her ,called and left her a message to call me never heard from her again. So I called the service dept in Casper ,the man there said he would get someone fore me and less than a minute I spoke to Jessica, from there it was a beautiful experience. I contacted and submitted an on line offer and was contacted by Andrea out of the Washington store. She said she would have to check with the Casper manager to see if they could sell to an out of state buyer. Not sure she knows what she is talking about. But couldn’t wait for her and contacted the store directly and spoke to Braden. He was nice and did a video walk around for me and so we discussed costs and I offered 38500 he said he wouldn’t take it to his manager because it was below what they were asking which I thought was odd as maybe they would come back and counter. So a week went by and they still had the f250 there and I offered them what they were asking. I looked at the ad after we made the deal and the online dropped the price done another 269 bucs. I asked Tony how come Braden didn’t mentioned the dropped price and why didn’t he offer me that price and he said that there online dealer didn’t tell them that and that they charged him 200 dollars for doing that and that they had no room in the price to give me that price that was dropped down to. Now tell me that’s not confused wording. But I have the truck now. They need to get things talked out amongst themselves so the confusion does not drive people away.

Poor communication and customer service
I visited the website and sent an inquiry about a vehicle on their website which was advertised at MSRP. I received an automated reply from Andrea quickly, but the actual response was delayed until the next day. While waiting to talk to someone from the dealership, I went through the dealership's click-n-drive process on their website. This process listed the advertised web price, valued my trade-in vehicle, allowed me to input a down payment amount, and calculated an approximate monthly payment. I completed this process and it was sent to the dealership. Eventually I heard back from Andrea, and during the process of communicating with her, she confirmed availability and would confirm the price of the vehicle. A few hours later, she emailed and confirmed with the Sales Manager that there was a dealer markup of $5,300 above MSRP. Needless to say, I was disappointed to hear this, especially since there was no mention of this anywhere on the website or during the click-n-drive process. A day later, Andrea followed up with an email. In that email, there was a paragraph stating "We take pride in having no dealer mark ups on our vehicles here at Honda of Casper!". I immediately responded to her indicating confusion because of what she had told me the day before. I indicated that I would buy the vehicle at MSRP, and ask that she contact me so we could close the deal. I never heard back from her. So, I reached out to Sales Manager Michelle Gifford via email, and also called the dealership and left her a message. I did not get a response to the email or voice message. This was a very disappointing experience because I expected more from this dealership because of their 2022 Presidential Award. A friend of mine has suggested that this could be construed as price-gouging and that I file a complaint.
I am truly sorry for the misunderstanding during your shopping process. If it is the Honda Civic Type R, you should have been notified that it had a deposit on it prior to us receiving the vehicle, and is currently getting the accessories that the buyer wants added to it prior to final delivery. The vehicles show up on our website as soon as Honda puts them in transit, and they stay on until after the deal is finalized. Casper of Honda is the best!
We desperately needed another vehicle as the one I was driving was stuck at my cousins. Went to see Jessica at Honda Of Casper got a great deal on a 2022 Honda CRV Hybrid Touring. Casper of Honda is even going to tow my car for me! Great people, great car I would highly recommend stopping in!
