Great to work with, fast friendly staff no run around everything was up front no hidden fees they were very honest and didn’t try to up sell unnecessary... items will definitely buy from them again!
Walked in with the intention of "just looking" and shopping around. Loved how easy it was to look at different models and have a salesman walk me through... the basics of the car without trying to push something on me that I didn't want or need. That was the third dealership I visited that day and was tired of feeling rushed or feeling like the salesman was pushing a trade-in at me because they wanted to move the used cars. The VW salesmen (multiple guys) took the time to explain the technology features to me and answered my repeat questions without getting frustrated. Ended up buying a car we all felt great about.
I took my time doing research across multiple dealerships and the staff at Ken Garff VW was super helpful and low pressure while I sorted it out. They... seemed focused on getting me whatever info I needed to make the right choice for me. The buying process was fairly low pressure and they showed me the invoice on request. Didn’t move much on price, but the offer was basically at invoice plus was able to get some maintenance thrown in. They even helped us resign all the papers the next day when a personal situation changed. I had the same person from start to finish of the process—none of the bait and switch tactics or secretive meetings in back rooms. In fact there are no rooms—everything is visible and audible throughout the showroom. My salesman even attached the roof rack for me, although the weather stripping has already come off twice in a week—but that speaks to the product quality, unfortunately. Overall as great an experience as buying a new car can be!
BUYER BEWARE! UNFAIR PRACTICES! I had financing approved with Ken Garff Downtown for a vehicle at Ken Garff Volkswagen dealership in Orem. The VW Sales... Manager, Cory Fenton agreed to let me purchase the car after waiting 24hrs if it hadn't sold by 6pm from his lot. Then I was told I had to wait an additional 24 hrs to see if it sales. NOW I've been told by the VW General Sales Manager, Scott Cobb that I have wait yet another 24hrs to see if they sell it by 6pm on 4/22/20. I've been strung along with invested emotions. Why wasn't I told that I wouldn't be allowed to purchase the vehicle from the beginning and that they didn't want to release it from their lot. Leads me to wonder if there are any discriminatory factors involved. I believe this is a terrible way to do business as we are all suffering during this pandemic.
I dealt with Carlos in the beginning who really helped me get the monthly payment I was looking for and Anthony didn’t try to push the sale at all. Allen... was thorough with the financing and answered all my questions. They were professional and so great to work with.
Dennis worked with me on pricing when I was quoted wrong by someone else. I would absolutely recommend serving your VW here. Great experience overall.
Wanted a very specific VW that they did not have on the lot. Told them what dealer did have it and they had it transferred over. Turns out that other dealer... damaged the car and did a horrible repair. Ken Garff staff was very apologetic and offered to get me a new vehicle from somewhere else. Found one in another state and they paid the shipping fees which normally would have been my cost. Buying process was quick and I was happy with the staff both front and back.
Brittany and Cory were both very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They helped to make this the most pleasant car - buying experience I've had to date.... If you are in the market for a vehicle, give them a call!
I had an excellent experience with Ken Garff VW in Orem, Utah. I just bought my new gti there. They were straightforward and easy to deal with (unlike... other some other dealers). Caleb was great to work with. I got an excellent deal and there were no “games.”
Bought a Routon Van. Never worked right since the first day. Spent the first 5 weeks back and forth in the shop due to the vehicle shutting itself off... while driving. We were told by the shop that they didn't even get a chance to see what was wrong because it was sold so quickly, but the salesman assured us that the shop did a full workup and didn't find anything wrong other than the we owe you's we were told about. Spent the next three weeks getting the we owe you's fixed. Had three we owe you's to be fixed. First time only fixed one thing and said that they didn't see any problem with the second we owe you and didn't fix the third we owe you. Second time they took almost two weeks fixing the second we owe you and didn't even fix the third we owe you. My husband ended up fixing the third we owe you. Worked great for three weeks and then about three weeks ago started having the same problem of shutting itself off again. Took it in said they didn't know what was wrong but switched out the battery and alternator again. Worked great for two days and started shutting itself off again. I called the dealer ship and was told that we have had it now for just over three months, they have already put a lot of money into the vehicle and their was nothing they can do. Very disappointed with the service received and that we were told they didn't find anything wrong other than the we owe you's and now we are stuck with a lemon that could possibly cause harm to my family if it stops in the middle of driving.
