UNPROFESSIONAL, DISHONEST AND RUDE!

I rarely post a review of a company online but my experience with Beyer Volvo was so horrific that I view posting this review to be a customer service for the local community. To say that my experience with this dealership was awful is a huge understatement. To echo the sentiments expressed by other reviewers their actions were unconscionably dishonest with ZERO regard for ethical behavior or conducting themselves with a modicum of proper customer service or empathy. Most shockingly, this includes actions by their MANAGERS, who are shamefully arrogant, corrupt and deceitful. If you are foolish enough to waste your time even visiting Beyer Volvo (let alone giving them one cent of your hard earned money) and leave feeling you were treated like a piece of garbage don't say you weren't warned. AVOID BEYER VOLVO!!

Great Shopping Experience!

We initially went to another Volvo dealer to test drive an XC40 and was not impressed with their level of engagement and professionalism. Luckily, the next day, we met Koffi Niamke-Bervell from Don Beyer Volvo. Koffi offered to come to our house to bring the car we wanted to test drive. He gave us a detailed introduction to how the car worked, the types of packages we could purchase and overall, was competent, friendly, and polite. He was very patient with our requests and he was able to find us what we consider to be the perfect car for us. Thank you so much!!

Great Salesman!

Our salesman, Koffi Niamke-Bervell, provided excellent service during our car buying experience! He was very patient as we asked question after question while trying to make our final decision for our first Volvo purchase. After visiting another dealership, Mr. Niamke-Bervell's kind, courteous, and professional manner sealed our decision to purchase at Don Beyer!

Not a good service experience

Service shop wouldn’t stop reading from script trying to sell services. The vehicle is a lease!! Why would I spend thousands of dollars on services for a vehicle 32 months info a 39 month lease? The entire experience here on the back end of a lease was horrific. Plenty of other Volvo dealerships around area, wouldn’t buy from here.

They wouldn't stop until they found me the exact car I wanted. Never pushed to purchase something that didn't work for me - Very pleased with every aspect of this purchase.

2 yr/20,000 mile service 2019 XC40

The visit was clearly a 10/10. The appointment was easily made and in a timely manner to get in the schedule. The arrival and welcome to the new facility went very well. The automatic scan of tires and alignment cost me some money but, I suppose, saved me a tire. John suggested the alignment and tire rotation and I agreed. Check-in went easily. John took me through the handicap access ramp and showed me the new waiting area. I had to get help with the coffee machine since it did not auto-load and I thought the little thingies in the boxes were tea packets. The TV continued on HGTV from the old location [Note: that Saturday Tour de France would have been more appealing] The 20,000 mile and safety check were completed in very good time. When I asked if I needed to have the car waxed at 2 years with the water spots on the hood, John sent the car over to the detailers to get the hood cleaned and polished. When I checked in for the service, I had a shock with the cost of the service. John confirmed the service [but not tire rotation and alignment) were included in the car purchase price. Very nice but I'm sure I paid for that somehow. All in all, a great experience. It continues my overall satisfaction and enjoyment with the purchase, delivery, and experience throughout with the Don Beyer sales and service organization. Note: This was my 6th Volvo since 1964 and my 3rd from Don Beyer. Two were FDC orders.

John Schmied provides outstanding Customer Service

Work with John Schmied if you can!! He has been my trusted representative for years now. He has always ensures I have access to a loaner vehicle. During service appointments, he presents opportunities to maintain the vehicle and gives fair advice for what needs attention and what can be deferred. He makes communication easy. He has represented me to Volvo in several no-fault service issues, like stickers falling off and plastic breaking off in undue periods of time, with positive outcomes. Recently, I was most touched when he got me to think twice about making time to come in for a bulb replacement sooner for my safety!! I feel immense gratitude that someone he looks out for me like that. These experiences have made me feel respected and important as a customer. It really is the little things!

Sean is the Best!

Sean Kelty was EXTREMELY courteous, helpful and responsive! Couldn't have had a better experience! My last person, Will, was awesome so to have someone equally it not more helpful was a nice surprise. I felt extremely taken care of. He tried to go the extra mile for my satisfaction every step of the way and that was not lost on me. I truly appreciated the attentiveness. Being a woman and a minority, I'm not always treated with such grace! Thank you Sean!
