I gave a lot of "averages", but expected a lot more from Volvo. When the sticker price is $63k. These folks can't hold a candle to a luxury dealership.... I wrote a super lengthy review to Volvo. I purchased a new 2016 VW from them, vowing never to darken their doors again, but.....got sucked in to a 22% off MSRP deal that I couldn't pass up on a 2017 S90 loaner. In both instances the sales people were great. In both instances it went downhill from there; delivery, make ready, promises made, promises broken over and over. If you have to buy from them, ask for Reid on the VW side, and Chris on the Volvo side, but be prepared for subpar service after the sale.
I used the USAA car buying service which put me in contact with Todd. The entire deal was set up over the phone and when I arrived in Houston, Todd had... everything ready to go. We were in and out in less than an hour and the vehicle was exactly as I requested. No hassle, no pressure, just a great experience. Thanks Todd!
Martin Carbajal, internet sales was amazing. He even offered to bring the car to me when he found I was injured from a wreck. The car I found at this... dealership, through cars.com, was pretty much what I was looking for to replace my totaled car. Once I requested additional information about the car, Martin reached out to me. He was always very pleasant, courteous and professional. I never questioned the car, the dealership or Martin's integrity. However, the dealership was over an hour away, on the other side of Houston, from me. But they did have a car I was interested in. Over about a period of about 2 weeks, Martin would check in with me every 3 days or so. Absolutely no pressure and complete understanding for the reasons I couldn't make it to the dealership; usually Dr/medical tests related, and there was that crazy rain. During the time Martin and I were communicating, my husband was out searching locally. We were at the point where we had to get out of the rental and replace my car, when I told Martin that I was afraid, the trip and the typical buying experience would just be too much for me. That is when he told me he would bring the car and paperwork to me! Wow, I really hope the dealership appreciates him! My husband did in fact find a car at a local dealer. We decided to go ahead and move forward with it. It certainly wasn't as close to having one delivered to your driveway, but I was able to check all the boxes. I honestly hated that I didn't get to meet Martin and work with him, in person. I know he was disappointed, but didn't show it and was very professional and understanding about my personal situation. So I can't say much about the dealership other than it seemed to me, they had a good selection of pre-ownwed cars and they are smart enough to hire some great sales associates. Make sure you specifically ask for Martin Carbajal when looking for your next car! He will treat you right.
Never actually visited do to distance but they were very willing and helpful negotiating over the phone. Salesman was helpful went back and forth several... times but couldn't get where we needed to be on price. They tried though.
I purchased a Chevy last August and noticed a warning message the other day...StabiliTrak. Thomas was excellent today as well as the other day when I... first called about this issue. I called regarding my 2015 Ram 1500, as the transmission started slipping...Called the service department, then was transferred to I am assuming the operator... who then connected me back to the service dept. and the female acted like it was a bother to answer the phone. I explained to her that I needed to see when their first available appointment was to have this looked at... she did said let me transfer you to a Service Advisor. SO at this point been transferred 3 times... Hmmmm... well was on hold for a bit and just hung up... not due to waiting for a SA to pick up but the more I thought about the crappy attitudes I have already encountered, this sets the tune for the conversation, if you answer all crappy. you think you are going to get honey, No you are going to get a crappy voice back, I truly wandered if I was going to get another crappy attitude. Honestly ... I would give 1/2 star if was able.... Dear Manager.... personal communications and customer service classes might be in order.
